Griselda POV
He continues staring at me and his smirk widens when I begin to squirm. Suddenly he begins to get something out of his pocket and I grow fearful thinking that maybe it's his gun, but I relax when I see a phone in his hands.
He scrolls through his phone, presses something and brings the phone to his ear.
"Nick I need you to get to the hospital room quick", he instructs.
After a few moments he hung up the phone, not a minute later the door opens and a guy walks in.
He was wearing all black, he stood about 6"0 with strikingly deep brown eyes. He had a scar on his right eyebrow which made him look even more intimidating.
He walked towards us and stood next to us. His expression didn"t give anything away as he looked me up and down. I squirmed when he looked into my eyes it felt like he could see right through me.
"Get her to one of the guest rooms, she needs to change her clothes and once she's done bring her to my office", the one with the blue eyes instructed.
"Understood boss", Nick bows his head in respect as the blue eyed man leaves.
Once his out of the room, Nick turns to me with a stoic expression.
"Follow me", he says as he begins to walk to the door.
I quickly stand up which causes pain to erupt in my body and I wince. Ignoring it, I quickly trail after Nick as he opens the door and walks out.
I begin to look around the mansion, unlike the one I lived in, this mansion has a homey feel to it. It's really beautiful and bigger than what I was used to. As I look around, bodyguards surround everywhere and there are at least thirty rooms as we continue to pass each one of them. Nick stops abruptly in the middle and I almost bump into him but I quickly catch my footing. When I look up at him, he glares down at me. He turns around and opens a door.
"This is where you'll be staying at", he says as I walk in.
A queen sized bed sits in middle of the room, beside it there is a chair, in the corner of the room there is a walk in closet and a door which I assume is the bathroom a few feet away.
"Get changed, there are clothes in the closet, I'll be back in less than an hour", he says and leaves as he closes the door.
I walk to the middle of the room and stare at the bed, it looks so tempting and it feels like it's calling out to me but I can't fall asleep and I don't want to be on Nick's bad side.
I begin to walk towards a door and when I opened it my assumptions became true it was a bathroom. I quickly walked in and locked the door behind me. Getting in the shower, I let the water cascade around my body, soothing me.
I lathered a vanilla scented shampoo and began to message it to my scalp. After I was done with massaging, I lathered a soap onto my body and began to clean it. Dirt and mud swam all around me making me scowl in distaste of how I must"ve looked in front of the blue eyed man.
Once I was done, I turned off the water and wrapped myself in a towel that was hanging near the door. Getting out of the bathroom I closed the door behind me and began to walk towards the closet.
I studied the clothes that were hanging on the racks, without wasting any time I pulled out a black dress that seemed decent enough to cover up my bruises. I couldn't risk anyone finding out.
I put the dress on and looked at myself in the mirror that was hanging on a wall. My bruises on my face were still visible, when I touched it, I winced when it throbbed.
I quickly turned away when the door opened and Nick was standing at the doorway.
"Good your ready then, let's go", he says and walks off.
I quietly follow behind him as he keeps walking without looking back. He stops in front of a door and opens it not wasting a minute. He walks in motioning for me to follow him.
We walk in and I look around me. In the middle of the room sits a black huge desk with laptop, papers scattered all around and the blue eyed man sits on a leather black stool and looks up at us from his papers.
"Boss I brought the girl", Nick says as he walks closer.
The blue eyed man nods his head and whispers something quietly to Nick and once their done talking Nick walks out, softly closing the door behind him.
The man turns his attention to me once Nick leaves and he inspects me from head to toe. Feeling self- conscious I cross my arms in front of chest.
"Sit down", he gestures in one of the leather seats that are near his desk.
I make my way over to one of them and sit down feeling nervous. When I look up at him, he has a smirk on his face and he watches me in amusement.
"You'll be working for me as my personal maid", he says and I furrow my eyebrows in confusion.
"Y-you mean, I'll do everything you say", I ask him in a small voice.
"Yes, and if you defy me there will be consequences", his smirk widens.
Fear erupts in every fiber of my body. Kulah used me as his punching bag, I hope this man does not do that.
"You'll cook for me, prepare my coffee and won't leave my side until I tell you to, understood?", he questions.
"Y-yes", I stutter out.
"Good, now let's head down stairs, I'll introduce you to the other maids", he stands up.
As he walks to the door, he opens it and gestures for me to go out first. I walk towards the door nervously and head out. Once we're outside his office, he begins to walk towards the stairs with me hot on his heels.
When we make it downstairs, I look around my surroundings, the living room is spacious with the most brand new furniture's with decorative art designs covering the walls.
We continue walking until we make it to the kitchen and there are about five maids with the same outfits as I am wearing.
The blue eyed man claps his hands to capture the maids" attention and they immediately stop what they're doing, putting their attention on us.
"This is my personal maid who just started working today, so show her around and teach her how to be a proper maid", he instructs them.
One of the maids rush over to me, she looks to be about in her early fifties with bright caramel brown eyes and greying hair.
"Oh dear look at you, you're so beautiful", she gushes.
"T-thank you", I murmur.
"Call me Lilly dear", she introduces herself.
I give her a small smile and she returns the gesture. She suddenly turns her attention to the man beside me and hit him on his arm.
"Why didn't you eat breakfast Arcado?", she scolds him.
My eyes widen as she continuously scolds him about not eating properly and I look at the blue eyed man who"s name is Arcado, he doesn"t even look bothered that she"s scolding, it looks like as if he"s used to this.
Once she"s done scolding him, she turns her attention back to me and gives me a smile.
"Oh dear you must be hungry, come I"ll prepare you something to eat", she says and walks off towards the kitchen.
I just stand there for a moment before I slowly begin to take a step forward, but someone catches my wrist and I turn to look at Arcado.
"Once you"re done eating, prepare me coffee", he says and walks off.
This day has just begun and I am already tired.
