Griselda POV
Keeping my eyes in the ground, I started to twist my hands anxiously as the girl walks towards me with only her bra and panties. Standing in front of me, she eyes me up and down with a little smirk on her face.
"I can see why he hired you", she taunts.
My brows furrow in confusion but I keep my mouth shut. Slightly, I start to lift my head up to see her staring down at me in amusement.
"Well it was nice meeting you, but I gotta get going", she says while walking back to the desk.
Picking up her clothes and putting it back on, she exits through the door after giving Arcado a kiss on the cheek. Something inside of me swirls when she does that, but I can't put my finger on it so I just ignore it and continue to stare at the floor.
Footsteps are heard, as Arcado makes his way over to me, looking up I see him just a centimeters are from me. Gasping in shock I start to take several steps back while he continues to step forward.
My back hits the wall and he takes the opportunity to cage me with his hands. He leans in closer until our breaths mingle together and I feel tingles in every party of my body.
"God, you smell so good", he says as he nuzzles his nose on my neck.
"I am sorry, for doing that to you, I just had to take my mind of off things", he continues.
W-what do you mean?", I ask him.
Lifting his face from my neck, he gazes at me with an unreadable expression on his face. Starting to stroke my cheek he chuckles as if amused.
"My sweet sweet, little naive Mi Amore", he smirks at me.
"I know what I did was wrong, but I just had to do it to get my mind off of you", he explains.
Eyes going wide, I stare at him in utter shock while he continues to stroke my cheeks softly. I flinch when his hands move, thinking he"ll hit me or do something worse.
"Did you think I was going to hit you?", he clenches his jaw, dropping his arms to his sides.
Looking down, I swallow the lump in my throat, while tears start to form in my eyes, blinking them back, I look up at Arcado looks like he could kill someone.
Shaking my head, I manage to give him a small smile hoping to convince him otherwise. But with the look on his face, it looks like he clearly isn't convinced.
"Tell me the truth", he commands.
"O-ok", I squeak out.
"I-it's just that you lifted your hand and I thought you were going to hit me", I took a deep breath.
"I know that", he growls at me.
"Tell me the whole truth, Griselda". He scowls.
This is the first time that he called me by my name and it does something to my body, it ignited fire within me that I didn't knew I had.
I gulp "It-it"s nothing".
Gripping my arms, he pulls me closer until there is no space left between us and starts to twirl my hair in his hands.
"Tell me the whole truth right now, before I do something I regret", he commands.
"I-I am engaged", I breathe out.
Shocked, he recoils back a few steps and stares at me as if I am a total different person. I stare at him waiting for him to say something, but he doesn"t open his mouth and I see anger flash in his eyes.
"You're engaged?", he asks in outrage.
I stare at the ground not know what to say or how to explain this situation. Swallowing the lump in my throat, I look up at him and slowly nod my head.
"How?", he questions.
Taking a step closer, he grips my arms roughly and pulls me against causing my head to collide with his check. When I look up, his eyes blaze with so much anger that I visibly start to shake in fear.
"Tell me", he spits out the words.
"I-it was what my father wanted", I whisper.
Eyebrows furrowing in confusion, he stares in me in complete bewilderment and starts to relax just a bit.
"So, you didn't want to get engaged?". He asks.
I shake my head and take a step towards him feeling brave for the first time. He looks shocked by the action but quickly covers it by giving me a blank expression.
"I didn't want to get engage, but I was forced to", I try to explain.
"My father dropped the bomb on me two years ago, saying I was to be engaged to his most-trusted man without a say in it. Still, I refused until he abused me continuously and that's when I had to give in", I continue, my lips quivering.
"Go on". He urges, crossing his arms over his chest.
I take a deep breath, "But he was more worse than my father, sure at the first few weeks he acted like a real boyfriend, but when I didn't want to do it he beat me until I had no energy to argue and took me forcefully. From that day on he continued to abuse and rape".
By now Arcado looks murderous, he looks like someone people don"t want to mess with and if they do they would have to face the consequences of their actions.
"So, you escaped", he concludes.
I nod my head, as he slams his hands to the wall in outrage. He glares down at me and thins his lips.
"Fuck", he slams the wall again and I flinch back.
"Why didn't you tell me?", he growls.
"I-I was scared that you'll send me away", I meekly say.
"Tell me what his name is", he commands.
"Who?", I whisper.
"Your Fiancé", he says.
My eyes widen "No, no you can't Arcado please", I plead.
"You can't stop me Mi Amore, I am going to kill him", he growls out.
"I won't tell you his name", I stand my ground.
Once again, his eyes blaze with anger and he roughly pulls me even closer to him.
"Tell me", he orders.

Griselda POV
"Come on, Mi Amore, tell me". He urges.
Looking up at him, I shake my head again and gulp when he glowers at me. Roughly pushing me against the wall, he skims his fingers towards my body.
"Come on, just tell me", he urges once more.
"No", I say firmly.
"Well, why not?", he questions.
"Because, if I tell you, then you're going to do something that you'll regret, plus he's dangerous". I say in one breath.
He chuckles "Mi Amore, he can't be more dangerous than me, so just tell me".
I shake my head again and try to walk past him, but he blocks my way by putting his hands on the wall, caging me in.
"Fine, I won't urge you to tell me, but know that I will get it out of you one way or another", he sighs.
"Thank you", I say.
Nodding his head, he steps away allowing me to finally breathe properly. Looking up, I see him fixing his tie but he sighs frustratedly when it keeps falling off.
"Do you need help with that?", I ask him.
Nodding his head, he allows me to step forward I do his tie slowly to make sure it doesn't fall off. When done, I look up at him to see a heated look in his eyes.
"How did you learn how to do a tie?", he questions.
I clear my throat "My mom taught me".
His eyes brows furrow "Your mom wanted you to get engaged too?".
Tears start to pool in my eyes but I blink them back. Shaking my head I say "S-She died when I was 18".
"Oh", he says surprised.
"Yeah", I said nodding my head.
"Well, I am just going to go downstairs", I walk around him towards the door.
Turning back around I see Arcado still standing where I left him, he turns around and nods his head dismissing me.
I walk towards downstairs and into the kitchen. Where I see maids walking around helping each other wash the plates.
"Hey Griselda", Sophia waves me over once she sees me.
Making my way towards her, I see maids giving me glares as I walk past them. Ignoring them, I stand in front of Sophia and help her dry the dishes.
"I think the maids are jealous of you", Sophia whispers.
My eyebrows furrow "Why would they be jealous?".
"Well, because maybe you're Arcado"s personal maid and he didn't want one until he met you", she explains.
"Plus, these maids would give anything just to get into Arcado"s pants", she makes gagging sounds.
My pale face turns crimson red thinking about last night. It was the best night I"ve ever had, but seeing Arcado with another woman after what he did to me made my stomach churn in knots.
"Well, they have nothing to be jealous about", I say, my voice coming out breathless.
Eyeing me warily, her eyes widen as if she's won something, she snaps her fingers and suddenly squeals.
"Oh my god, oh my god, is there something going on between you and him?", she squeals out.
My own eyes widen in panic "No, no of course not, why would you think that", I laugh nervously.
Jumping up and down on the spot, she keeps squealing like a little girl, she points her finger at me "So there is something going on, between you and him".
"What did he do?", she asks excitedly.
"Wait wait don't tell me, I am going to guess", she thinks for a moment before gasping out loud.
She turns her attention to me "Did he finger you? Give you the head? Or did he fuck you good?", she throws the questions at me.
Choking on my own spit I stare at her as if she's gone crazy, well she is hyper most of the time
"He did none of that", I say firmly.
"If he did none of that, then why are you blushing?", she giggles.
I touch my face and sure enough their burning as if I have a fever. Groaning out loud I poop my head on the counter.
"Well, none of that matters anymore because he just fucked a girl", I turn to Sophia.
Eyes blazing with anger, she turns around and heads out the door. I stare after her wondering what was going on inside her head.
Realizing, where she is going, I stare after her in panic and run after her before she gets to his office.
"Sophia, where are you going?", I ask her, blocking her way.
"I am going to see that son of a bitch and knock some sense into him", she glares ahead.
Panicking, I look behind me to see, Arcado"s office door opening and him stepping out. When I turn to look at Sophia, she glares at him and stomps her foot angrily. Stepping away from me, she runs up the stairs and before I know it punches Arcado across the face.
"What the hell Sophia?", his voice boomed through the hall, making me flinch.
"That's what you get for having another woman in your office you piece of rotten bread", Sophia hissed.
"You don't know what, you're talking about so don't make any assumptions", he growled.
"Uh-uh sure sure, like I don't know your player ways and I"ll be damned if I let you play with Griselda", at those words he stiffened and finally chose to acknowledge my presence.
Once he saw me, his eyes flashed with something that I couldn't quite put my finger on so I shrugged it away and made my way up the stairs while keeping eye contact and being careful not to trip over.
Standing in front of Sophia, I pleaded her with my eyes to take a step back, she scowled at Arcado but took a step back listening to my pleas, I exhaled the breath that I didn"t know I was holding.
Turning towards Arcado, I looked up at him through my lashes to see him glaring daggers at Sophia. He stared at her, eyes blazing with anger and if she wasn"t a girl, he would"ve punched her already.
"Guys, stop it", I said looking at both of them.
"If you weren"t a girl, I swear I would"ve killed you", Arcado growled.
"Yeah, yeah like me being a girl would stop you, I am your cousin that"s why you can"t kill me", Sophia said while checking her nails.
"Get out of my way", Arcado said pushing Sophia out of his way.
