Chapter 139 A Room Key

Paul glanced at Julia's delicate face, catching a whiff of her perfume.

"Julia, it's kinda crowded here," Paul whispered, leaning back to put some space between them.

'Damn it! Why did I bring Carol and Ida along? Carol's gonna flip when she sees this,' Paul thought, feeling helpless.

Julia smiled, leaned back in her chair, took a sip from her glass, and pointed to the two oddly dressed girls in the corner. "Is that Carol and Ida? Gotta say, Paul, you sure are a hit with the ladies. Ever since we parted ways in the reception room, I can't get you out of my head. I dream about you every night."

"Really? I'm flattered," Paul replied with an awkward smile.

Julia downed her drink, stood up, and pulled a card from her bag, handing it to Paul.

"I was hoping to spend the night with you, but I guess that's not happening. Here's a room key, have fun." Julia winked, kissed him on the cheek, and left.

As Julia disappeared, Paul touched his cheek, still feeling the kiss.

"So Julia was the informant, huh? Didn't see that coming," Ida said, appearing on Paul's left.

"Why are you touching your face? Julia's gone, is she really worth it?" Carol appeared on his right, glaring at him.

"Nothing, just thinking about our next move," Paul said, his smile fading.

Carol, holding the room key, glared at Paul. "Why did Julia give you this?"

Paul scratched his head. "She was gonna stay at the hotel but had to leave, so she gave me the key. If you don't believe me, come check the room. I promise she's not there."

Paul tried to explain, but Carol's skeptical look didn't budge.

An hour later, Paul helped the two women to Julia's room.

"We're not here to drink, so why did you drink so much?" Paul grumbled, unlocking the door and tossing the two women onto the bed.

At the bar, the two had drunk a lot and were pretty out of it.

"Is this the room? Wow, it's fancy!" Ida exclaimed, looking around.

Carol got up from the bed, equally impressed.

Suddenly, their eyes locked on a cabinet with two beautifully packaged bottles of liquor.

"Ida, look at those bottles. Aren't they the famous ones from TV?" Carol nudged Ida.

Ida squinted and nodded. "Yeah, those are the ones. They go for like ten grand a bottle."

Paul looked at the bottles, then at the two drunk women, feeling a bad vibe.

"Wait, you two aren't thinking of drinking that, are you?" Paul asked, eyes wide.

But before he could react, Carol and Ida lunged for the bottles.

"Stop!" Paul yelled, but they ignored him.

Fate had a twisted sense of humor. Paul tried to stop them but tripped, while the two drunk women, barely able to stand, reached the liquor cabinet.

In Paul's despairing gaze, Carol and Ida each grabbed a bottle, clinked them together, and popped them open.

As the rich foam sprayed out, Paul felt his heart shatter.

"Twenty grand, how am I gonna pay this back?" Paul groaned, kneeling on the ground, hearing his credit card cry.

The two women drank every drop, leaving none for Paul. Already drunk, they lost all reason.

Sitting on the edge of the bed, Carol and Ida looked at the dejected Paul, their eyes turning fiery.

"Paul, let's have a threesome!" Carol announced loudly.
