Chapter 79 – Caught in the Act

Emily entered Alex's office and saw Alex lost in his thoughts, twirling a pen on the desk. She quietly walked to him and said, with a smile, "Good morning."

Alex looked up from the pen and saw Emily standing so close to him. She was looking pretty today, too.

Alex reached out his hand and Suddenly pulled Emily into his lap.

Emily was taken aback by it, but then a smile arose on her lips, and her heart started beating fast in her chest. She sat properly in Alex's lap and wrapped her arms around his neck, saying, "What are you doing, boss? We are in the office. This is wrong."

"And that's why you are wrapping your arms around your boss's neck and sitting in his lap," Alex smirked.

Those words made Emily blush. She quickly hid her face in Alex's chest.

"Stop saying such things. You are embarrassing me," Emily whispered.

Seeing Emily act like that, Alex's heart started beating fast. He wished they would be in his bedroom instead of his office; it would be so much better.

"Stop doing this. You are making me want to do bad things to you." Alex whispered in Emily's ear.

Emily raised her head and looked into Alex's eyes with the same desire that was igniting in Alex's heart.

" Emily," Alex whispered Emily's name with such a desire that it could melt everything. He leaned closer to her, bringing his face close enough to her that his nose touched hers.

Emily looked into Alex's eyes and suddenly pressed her lips against his. Alex didn't hesitate and responded with a passionate kiss. He delicately took her lower lip and nibbled it, giving her chills all over her body. Emily closed her eyes, letting herself get lost in the feeling of pure desire that had taken over her. Soon, Alex's tongue entered Emily's mouth and started exploring her. Emily clenched tightly on Alex's shirt and deepened the kiss.

Before the kiss ended, Alex placed a light pack on Emily's lip and moved his face away from her.

Emily looked into Alex's eyes, gasping.

Alex once again leaned close to Emily and placed a kiss on her forehead.

Emily smiled, and in return, she kissed all over Alex's face—on his forehead, on his cheeks, on his lips, and on his nose.

"I love you, handsome," she said, tapping Alex's nose with her finger.

"I love you too." Alex touched his head to Emily's.

They stayed there like that for a while, until someone knocked on the door. The Person didn't even ask for permission to enter and opened the door as if it were his office.

Emily and Alex both panicked. Emily immediately got up from Alex's lap, but her foot slipped, and she fell into his lap.

And then they both looked towards the door.

Nelson entered the office, and they both took a sigh of relief. They were relieved that it was Nelson. If someone else saw them like that, it would cause a big fuss.

"Hi," Nelson said, a blush creeping to his ears. He was always a shy kind of guy, though not in bed with Shelly.

"What are you doing here?" Alex asked, pulling Emily close to him. He didn't care that Nelson was there.

"Sorry. I disturbed you." Nelson grinned.

Emily tried to get up from Alex's lap, but Alex didn't let her go. Though Emily was embarrassed to death that she was caught by her friend doing something like that in the office, it didn't affect Alex.

"Let me go," Emily whispered.

Alex shook his head and hugged Emily. "I don't want to," Alex whispered back.

"And you. Don't you have any manners? How can you enter your boss's office without his permission?"

Nelson grinned. "You are talking about my manners when you are doing something like that in the office?"

Instead of getting angry upon hearing what Nelson said, Alex smiled.

"I'm sorry that I forgot my manners." Alex grinned and let go of Emily, but before doing that, he kissed her forehead.

Emily's face turned bright red. 'I am already embarrassed. Why did he need to do that?' Emily thought.

Emily quickly walked to her desk and started working. Though she didn't understand what she was typing on the computer, she knew she was trying to save herself from embarrassment.

"So now tell me what you want," Alex asked, leaning back on his chair.

Nelson walked towards Alex's desk and sat down on the chair in front of him. He leaned forward on the desk and said in a low voice, "Did you solve Natasha's matter yet? Did you tell Emily about her? Don't be late, or Emily would misunderstand things." Nelson advised Alex.

Alex looked at Emily and then at Nelson. He nodded at Nelson and said, "She knows everything."

Nelson raised an eyebrow and turned to look at Emily. "Do you know everything, Emily?" he asked.

Emily looked up from her computer. She looked confused as she asked, "What are you talking about?"

Nelson again turned his head back to Alex with a questioning look and asked, "Did you really tell her everything?"

" He is talking about Natasha. You know everything about her now, right?" Alex said.

Emily nodded and said, "I want to kill that bitch if she is lying." She clenched her fists in anger.

" Whoa! Superwoman is furious that someone else has their eyes on her boyfriend." Nelson joked.

"Why, I won't be angry. Will you stay silent if someone is trying to steal Shelly from you?"

"Of course not. I will break that bastard's teeth if anyone tries to take her away from me." Nelson fumed just by imagining it.

Emily smiled as she heard, "See, anyone will be angry if someone tries to steal something dear to you."

A smile arose on Alex's lips as he heard that. He was always like that. He also didn't like it if someone else kept an eye on his things, and he was happy that Emily was the same.

"You are just like me, Em." Alex smiled at Emily.

"What do you mean?" Emily smiled back at Alex.

"He says you are crazy, just like him." Instead, Alex Nelson spoke up.

"You want to die?" Alex glared at Nelson.

Nelson grinned and got up from the chair. He raised his hands in the air and said, "I just came to ask you whether you talked to Emily or not. But now that I know the answer, I should go. I'm relieved that everything is fine." Nelson smiled.

" Okay," Alex said, and Nelson turned around to walk away.

"Bye, baby girl." Nelson saluted Emily and smiled before getting out of the room.

"You have a death wish!" Alex yelled behind Nelson. But Nelson had no effect. It was fun for him to tease Alex.

Alex sighed and said, "I don't like when he acts like that around you. You two aren't trying to make me jealous again, are you?"

Emily smiled and said, "Of course not. But he is only teasing you. Stop reacting, or he would tease you even more."

"Even though it's a tease, I don't like it." Alex looked upset.

"Stop getting angry. Baby." Emily tried to lighten up Alex's mood.

As Emily said that word, Alex felt cool as someone threw a bucket of cool water on him. He smiled at Emily and said, "Don't tease me like that, or you will regret it."

Emily tilted her head to the left and, with a smile, asked, "What will you do?"

"You want to see?" Alex challenged.

"Yup." Emily accepted the challenge.
