Not happy Raven

I stood watching the kids to see what would happen. Maybe they would go, but I didn't think that Lucien would stay gone. Raven would do it in spit of hersself and me. So we stood not talking just waiting to see who broke the silence. I felt horrible for having to be this way, but she had to stop acting like she could crush me. I gave her life and everything that she could ever want. So many things where a maybe, but right now she had to make up her mind. Draven stood to come stand by me. I let him hold me close but I couldn't crumble right now. Instead I looked around the living room. It could use some paint the greyish color was horrible. The painting on the wall was faded lilke it had been there for every. Then I looked toward the pictures I had put up on the wall. Two where of the me and Draven, the other two where of the twins. The sofa and chairs were still in great shape, though the color didn't set well with the walls. When I came back to the twins I sighed. Raven was still standing there in shock.
"Mom are you really going to kick her out?" Lucien asked looked worried for his twin.
"Lucien I would rather not, but she has to grow up and stop treating people like they are dirt. I have put up with it long enough. My heart can't take any more of her venom. I stand by what I said, if she wants to act like an adult then she will be treated like one." I stood my ground and could see the look of horror on her face. It made my heart ache but I had to do it. "I will always love you both no matter what."
"You call kicking me out and cutting me off love?" Raven bellowed at me her face turning red with anger.
"You call treating me like dirt love? I have given you everything Raven. You have more than one home, you have every electronic there is to have the best of the best. You have blood to drink no matter what. Anything you ever wanted you had. Then you started treating me like I was shit. That my dear isn't love." I told her seeing the truth sink in, but she still didn't back down.
"Grandma and Grandpa won't have it." Raven let her anger grow in her voice. "I will just go live with them."
"No, you will not." Draven stepped up to look at Raven. "Mom and Dad already told me about how you treated them as well. You won't be going back to them until you can find a way to treat them better."
"My family all of you are cutting me off?" Raven mumbled as tears started to build in her eyes. "I-I didn't do anything wrong."
"That is the issue Raven, you can't see that you have done something wrong." Edgar cawed from the shelf. "You treat everyone like dirt then wonder why they push it back at you. How do you think I got into the mess I'm in? My big mouth did that for me, that and hurting or killing people. At the time it taste like heaven. Stop being a bitchy vampire and show your family that you love them."
Raven stood looking at him with murder in her eyes. I watched as tears started to trail down her cheeks. It was strange to see her cry because she didn't do that much even as a baby. It almost broke me seeing her like that. I wanted to hug her close and tell her that I was so sorry and loved her so much. I couldn't let my walls crumble. So I watched as she through it all over not sure what she would do. It was a stand off between her stubborness and our will to get her to see the truth.
Without a word she left. The slamming of the front door told us what we needed to know. I broke, I couldn't handle the fact that I had just cut my daughter off. My knees buckled but Draven held me up helping me to sit down. The look on Lucien's face made my heart hurt more. He was so torn between us. It wasn't what I wanted, but I couldn't let her walk all over me either.
"Go." I told him giving him a weak smile. "She will need you."
Lucien went after his sister knowing that I wouldn't. I couldn't in all truth deal with both my kids leaveing. I didn't think that Lucien would stay gone and knew that he would give his sister things she needed. Until she treated him like she did everyone else. When I looked up I saw Elyisum standing the door way.
"I'm so sorry for last night." I told her but she just smiled.
"Not your fault, I know you have anger issues." Elyisum smiled at her then sighed. "Raven isn't doing good at all. The blood test show nothing as far as the nano's are concerned. I would suggest if possible to get her to try and work things out. Trouble is I am sure she left a little while ago. Raven needed what you just did and sooner or later she will figure that out on her own."
"I wish I could tell my heart that. My brain is all for it, but my heart is breaking." I told her as I wiped tears off my cheeks.
"I believe that she will come around. It is hard to get someone to see the wrong they have done unless it is all they see. Raven is very smart and knows that she has a family that love her. The fact that you pushed back is something she wasn't used too." Elyisum smiled at me her words meant to help.
I didn't know what to think at the moment. I had started it with what I had sad, but it needed to be sad. She was acting like a tryrant to most people. Lucien was one of the only ones she didn't treat like that. I sat looking at Draven wondering what he was thinking about all of this. When he smacked Raven I was shocked but she should have watched what she said. It didn't settle well with me that we had both struck our daughter. What we would do now I wasn't sure. Just try and figure out what to do as a family, if the twins decided to come back. I was sure that Lucien would keep me updated seeing as he took his phone. I was sure that Raven still had hers as well. So we sat there looking at the walls not thinking about what happened.
"Nat I was wondering how far you got last night." Elyisum asked with a bright smile.
"Two counties away, almost four hours away in less then an hour. Might have gone further if I hadn't fallen." I told her with a smile.
