Chapter 72 CHAPTER72
"You too, you scent is the strongest." I told him. I had no idea if I could even give him the answer he wanted. But I concentrate on Luna Loria's unique scent it was like she was right in the room with me. I called for Titan to come and take me back to my room.
Once I was sitting on the couch with my leg up I reached for his hand.
"Titan, I'm sorry, the whole time I was in there it smelled like she was right in the room with me." I told him.
"It was worth a try." He said kissing my forehead.
Titan told everyone to keep a look out for Luna Loria and to let him know if they see her.
Bre had made coffee for everyone, I asked just for a bottle of water. Valen took his coffee to the hall he said he was going to watch Luna's door. I laid my head on the back of the couch and pulled the throw over me. I was tired it had been an emotional afternoon. I was just about asleep with my feet on Titan lap. When the door opened and Luna Loria walked into the room.
"What was the explosion this afternoon?" she asked. I'm sure everyone must have been staring at her. By her comment.
"What is wrong with you all, do I have two heads?" I chuckled softly to myself. I didn't want to get in trouble.
"Mother where have you been all day, we have been looking everywhere for you?" Titan asked.
"I was in my room" she said. But we all knew she was not there. Or did I. It would explain why her scent was so strong, but I kept my thoughts to my self for now.
"What happened to Raven's ankle?" Luna asked.
"She sprained it, Dr. Michael said it should be fine in a couple of days." Titan said. Then she noticed my hand. She smiled and kissed my forehead but did not comment.
"Ok now that we know mother is ok, Titan you never answered my question." Kendra said.
"What question was that?" Titan asked her.
"When are you going to make Raven an official pack member so we can link with her?" Kendra asked annoyed.
"We can't yet until Imara and Jessica are delt with." Titan told her.
"But that is exactly why you need to, Titan." Kendra told him.
"Kendra enough, it has to be done in front of the whole pack, I'm not risking putting her in harms way when those two are trying to kill her." Titan said. I was in shock I knew Jessica thought I had taken her place and I know Imara was mad at me but not that they wanted to kill me.
"You never told me they were trying to kill me," I said to him.
"I didn't want to upset you we have it under control they are being watched day and night." He told me.
"Can everyone please just leave my room, I'm feeling suffocated." I asked.
"Ok everyone out Titan said not moving from the couch.
"You too, please I just want to lay down for a while. Come back when dinner is here please." I begged.
"Let me put you in bed first, I will be just across the hall if you need me. Titan said.
When they all left I relaxed finally and went over the events of the afternoon, especially about Luna Loria.
HAWKIN'S POV
I finished signing off on the grades of all the students, turned off the light on my desk and went to check on Clair she had only been home a week with the newest addition to our family another boy. We named him Tylor. He was a healthy pup with strong lungs. He made it known when he was hungry. I now sat as the head of the school board. Clare did not have to work anymore I made more than enough money to support us. Alpha had me sitting on his personal advisory council as well. This came with a lot of perks for me and the family. Life was good to us. I check the other pups on my way to our room they were all asleep. When I went into our room Clare was just putting the pup in his bassinet.
"Did you get all the grades signed off on?" Clare asked.
"Yes finally, thank goodness summer break is coming I can relax some " I told her.
"Did you check your mail?" Clare asked getting into bed.
"No, I will tomorrow." I told her.
"I thought you would say that you need to open this it came two days ago it is from the supernatural council." Clare said handing me a thick envelope. I opened and read the letter inside then I looked at some of the other papers.
"What us it?" Clare asked.
"In the letter they are offering me a seat on the council." I told her.
"Why do you not look happy?" She asked.
"The other paper are us being ordered to be in court as witnesses to the kidnapping of you and Raven." I told her.
"If they know you were in the van that night they will convict you of kidnapping as well, they will put you in jail or take you life." Clair started to cry.
"But I also took you and Raven from that place." I told her.
"After all this time why are they just now going after him." Clare asked through her tears.
"It say here that someone is looking for their family they were taken from. Look it names the person sort of. Luna of the Fire sky pack."
"Did that pack not die out almost forty years ago?" Clare asked.
"I thought so too,
"I will call in the morning and get us legal council." I told her putting the paper back in the envelope not reading them all if I had I would have found out the Luna of the Sky fire pack was our Raven being represented by Luna Loria of the same pack. But it would be a couple of months before would be called to testify.
ROMAN'S POV
We had been at the pack for about two weeks our injuries had healed. I had tea with Raven once. But other than that, we never saw her. I was just coming out of the pack house when I saw Valen. I ran to catch up to him.
"Valen, how are you today?" I asked.
"Doing well Roman, what can I do for you?" He asked.
"I was wondering why Rav....." I started to say he put his hand on my mouth. This pissed me off.
"Jane is fine he said." Taking his hand away emphasizing the name Jane.
I got the message. But why were they calling her Jane.
"Why does she not come out of her room? Is there something going on that I should know about?" I asked.
