Chapter 62 CHAPTER 62
"Have him try and get a picture of it with his phone if he can. See you at dinner." I said and closed the link. Raven was just coming out of the bathroom.
"Do you want coffee, Titan," she asked.
"I will make it," I told her.
"I can do it Titan, Bre has been helping me learn my little kitchen. I even made grill cheese sandwiches earlier today." She told me. I got up and went over to the kitchenette and watched her put on the coffee I was impressed. When she was done I wrapped my arms around her and kissed the back of her neck.
"You amaze me love." I told her.
"I have to learn how to do things I can't depend on everyone to do things for me. The more self-sufficient I become the more useful I will be to you and our pack." She said with confidence. I pulled her closer to me.
"I'm proud of you." I told her. She turned to face me and wrapped her arms around my neck kissing me deeply. I returned the kiss parting her lips and exploring her mouth with my tongue. Raven moaned softly. Neith of us heard anyone knock on the door or come into the room. Until my Mother cleared her throat. Raven jumped away from me almost losing her balance I quickly grabbed her arm.
Ravens face was Red.
"I did knock and anounce myself." Mother said. Raven went abd sat on the couch.
"Coffee mother?" I asked.
"Just a,bottle of water, Titan thank you. I hear congratulations are in order Raven," mother said.
"Um, yes I guess. I told Titan I wanted to have a simple mating ceremony." Raven told my mother.
"I'm so very happy, Kendra is looking at dresses for you she will go over what she finds so you can pick. It will be wonderful having you officially part of the family, really you are already like a second daughter to me." Mother said.
"Mom, is there any other reason you are here?" I asked passing her a bottle of water.
"Oh yes, everything is in place for tomorrow. That woman was not impressed with her accommodation or the fact that Kendra told her she would need to look at the job listings and get a job." Mother said. Raven started to laugh.
"To see her face, when Kendra said that her thinking she is coming in here to be a princess." Raven said.
"It was priceless," mother laughed.
"Just make sure she does not find out Raven is here." I said not laughing.
"She thinks you have a rouge named Jane in the pack house. Who knows Ravens real name?" Mother asked
"Just Michael, our personal guards, and Maggie oh and Bre." I told her.
"Make sure they all call her Jane and not Raven. I will go down and talk to Maggie now. Lock your door if your going to be making out " mother said as she left. Raven was as red as a tomato. I laughed.
"You are very cute when you blush." I told her.
"It is not funny Titan, I was embarrassed your mother of all people catching us making out in the kitchen." Raven said.
"We will just have to lock the door from now on. I do have a question for you, will you be moving across the hall to my room or will we be expanding this one?" I asked.
"I never thought about that. It took me so long to get use to this room. It gives me a sence of security ." Raven told me.
"We can take our time and think about it but for now I have to work on the fall fair for the school. I would like you help me it." I said.
"I guess I can help you with that, why don't you tell me what you have done in the past and we can go from there?" Raven said. Then took a drink of her water, and placing it back on the table. We spent the next three hours talking about the fair for the school children and then about the school and the classes. Time just flew by. There was a knock on the door and Valen came in with dinner for the three of us. Raven talked more about the school and asked Valen his oppions on what ideas she had. It felt really good to see her not scared and confident in herself. I could not help but keep smiling at her. Raven had some amazing ideas I had never thought of for the classes and their sizes as well as the curriculum. She really was extremely intelligent, I was glad to see the fear she had carried for so long was slipping away.
Valen left around eleven and I helped Raven have a bath before bed. I had a hard time controlling myself, this was the first time I had seen her completely naked. She was a living goddess I wanted to worship every inch of her body. But now was not the time. A battle was headed our way I needed to keep my head clear. After I rinced the shampoo from her braids I excused myself so she could wash in private. When I went back in she was at the sink with a towel around her.
"You did not need my help getting out?" I questioned.
"That is what the bars are for," she said after she finished brushing her teeth.
"Oh, yah, I forgot about those, is there anything I can get you?" I asked.
"My pajamas please, I have not learned my closet yet. If you don't mind." Raven said.
I quickly got her pajamas and helped her into them.
"Titan why are you so nervous tonight?" Raven asked. It was amazing how well she could read me.
"It is just about tomorrow, love. I know we have it under control I just worry about you. I never want anything to happen to you. Please promise me you will stay locked in your room until I come to you." I begged her.
"I will, there is nothing I can do, I'm worried you will get hurt. He is an awful man. I have seen what his hunchmen can do to others first hand." Raven said I could hear the fear coming back.
"Let's go to bed, and let me hold you while you fall asleep. We will worry about tomorrow when it comes." I said taking her hand. Once we were in bed and all snuggled up it did not take Raven long to fall asleep. But I could not sleep. I listened to every sound that was going on in the pack one thing I was gifted with was exceptional hearing. I could hear a twig break a mile away.
