Chapter 50 CHAPTER 50
"Raven can you please stop calling me Alpha? You know.... as my mate you don't call me with my title. Please?" Titan asked.
Wow he had added please, he must really be trying I thought.
"That is just a formality that needs to be rectified as soon as possible." I told him honestly. I could feel even Luna Loria got upset by what I said. But it was true no matter how felt, how much the mate bond pulled at me. I had to let him go so he could find a proper Luna.
"You will not reject me Raven, ever." Titan said he voice slightly raised. I got mad at him.
"Go, go look at the easel and see what your future is with me as your mate and Luna. Look." I yelled.
"Raven!" Luna Loria warned me.
"He might as well see the truth; It does not matter how I feel how much the mate bond pulls. The truth is on that canvas." I told her and stared to cry. I felt Titan sit on the couch
He took my hand. I let him, I did need his touch. His scent calmed me down some.
"Raven, sweetheart. Our pack is not like that. They will accept you with open arms I promise you." Titan said.
"Because you force them to? Titan no thank you." I told him.
"Raven what can I do to prove it to you?" Titan asked.
"You can't Titan, only the pack can decide without your influence." I told him.
"And so they will." Luna Loira said.
"Without anyone’s influence, Luna." I told her.
I sighed there were only two more days until the Rouge King came back. I should just let him take me and save this pack that was now my home.
"Have you got a plan for the Rouge King? He will not come back alone. I have seen what his goons can do to others. It was horrifying to watch until we could run. Have you found where he is that he is keeping my friends?" I asked.
"We have a plan, but as of yet we have not found his location. Im sorry we have been trying. Raven." Titan said.
"You have to try harder. Please!" I begged.
"We will find them, my love I promise." Titan said.
"Have the scouts come back yet?" Luna asked.
"This morning, let me ask Lance." Titan told her.
"Valen what are you doing?" I asked him.
"Um, standing here." He answered.
"Why are you not sitting and having coffee with us?" I asked. The room was quiet for a minute.
"Valen, your future Luna wish you to sit and have coffee with us." Titan told him.
"Of course Alpha, Raven would you like a refill?" Valen asked.
"Yes please," I said smiling. Valen took my cup and filled it making my coffee just how I liked it. Then got himself a cup. He handed me my coffee and then just stood drinking his coffee.
"Valen please sit down," I told him.
"I'm fine standing, Raven." He replied.
"Are you not sitting because of Titan?" I asked him. He did not answer me.
"You can sit down Valen." Titan said.
I heard him sit in the chair. Now I was not happy.
"From now on Valen when I ask you to have coffee with me you sit and have coffee with me to hell with what Titan or anyone else thinks is that clear?" I said with a harsh voice.
"I will, Raven," Vallen said. I could feel his smile.
"When you are done your coffee Valen, can I borrow you to help me with somethings in my office please?" Luna Loira asked him with a chuckle.
"Of course Luna Loira, anything you wish." Valen replied. Titan had put his arm around my waist at some point. I like it there, but Spirit kept whispering to me they don't want a blind Luna. I had finally told her to stop and go lay down or I would cage her away. She went and lied down with her back to me mumbling. I leaned back into Titan.
"You must have a lot of work to do today; you should not worry about me Carry will be here soon." I said nicely to him.
"About Carry, Raven her parents have started her in summer school, so I'm looking to find someone else to stay with you." Titan said.
"I will be fine alone Titan you need not worry." I told him. I really did not want to get use to another person and them accidentally leaving thing where they shouldn't. Not that Carry did but how could I trust someone new.
"Really, I don't need a babysitter, Titan." I tried to have him give up on having someone new.
"Raven, stop I will find someone you are not use to the whole pack house let alone the pack land to not have someone with you. I don't want to hear anymore about it. I will make sure they understand things I promise." Titan said. I let it go for now I did not want to fight. I was enjoying us sitting close and the bond between us growing. Luna Loira got up and came over to me; she kissed my forehead don't fight when I leave either of you." She warned. Then she called to Valen to hurry up she had stuff to do. Just like that they were gone. I was alone with Titan; I bit my lower lip. Not knowing what to say.
TITAN'S POV
I could feel Raven was nervous and probably needed sometime by herself.
"I have some things I need to do and I'm sure after this morning you might want some time to yourself. If I may return later to visit with you and maybe take a walk in the garden." I asked her.
"I would like that," Raven said smiling. I kissed her forehead and left. I ran into Mother on our office floor.
"I was just coming to see you and Raven." Mother told me.
"I gave her some time to herself; I will going back in a bit to take her for a walk. What's up?" I asked.
"I found a girl in her eighteenth year, her name is Bre and she will work out perfect for Raven." Mother said.
"Wait is Bre not Jessica's cousin?" I asked.
"She is not like Jessica at all Bre is sweet and quiet. Her parents said she understands the responsibility of being help for Raven." Mother said.
"Just as long as Jessica does not think this gives her rights to my floor." I told Mother.
"You have no need to worry. Bre understands what will happen if she allows Jessica access to the floor on the keycard she is given." Mother said.
"I hope so, I don't want Jessica bothering Raven." I told her.
"The only thing is that Jessica will now know she is on your floor. But that girl better get use to it. I have had enough of her already." Mother said.
