"They never arrived back at the pack; I wanted to make sure they crossed before we sent out scouts to look for them." I told her.
"I will send out a search party from my end I will call you back in a couple of hours if that is ok?" She asked.
"Thank you, I will await your call." I said and hung up.
"Just let me call Lance, and then I will explain." I told Raven. I called Lance he picked up right way.
"Did they cross?" He asked.
"Yah, my contact said the guards and the man and woman were acting nervous. Maggie presented their papers not the guards. My contact has sent out a search party on her end go a head and send out the scouts. Tell them not to approach them just to observe and report back," I told Lance.
"Will do I will call you back in a few hours." Lance said and hung up.
"What is happening?" Raven asked. I told her everything.
"I'm a bit worried about the two guards?" I told her.
"You don't think they would have harmed them do you?" Raven asked.
"I'm not a hundred percent sure that they wouldn't kill them if it was their only way to run." I told her.
"I pray to the Goddess that they just dumped them on the side of the road unharmed." Raven said. Two and a half hours later we were at the motel. We were put in the same rooms, and the vans were backed up to the outside doors of the rooms. Bre and Mother Clare helped Raven bath and feed the pups. The girls went right back to sleep. Willam played with his toys on the bed beside Raven.
"I'm going out with the guy for a bit you ok with him?" I asked Raven.
"Mom will be back in a minute with tea we will be fine, " Raven said.
"William you stay with mommy on the bed." I told him.
"Vroom, vroom," he said playing with his cars.
I worried now that he was so much more mobile that he would move and in a strange place it would be hard for Raven to move around. As soon as I open the door William went to get off the bed, but Raven growled at him and he went back and sat beside her playing with her hair. I chuckled and went outside.
MAGGIE'S POV
We had got through the border ok now we just had to figure out what to do with these two guards. I really didn't want to kill them they were both young they had done nothing to us. Nash kept insisting that we had to kill them. He was trying my patience. This was all his fault to begin with. He had to be anti- social and not get work. As soon as he found out Ella was going to be Luna he figured we had it made. He caused Alpha Titan to have suspensions about us. If I did not need him I would get rid of him. I had enough wolfsbane to take care of the lot of them.
"Watch where your driving," I yelled at Nash as we hit a pothole in the road.
"We need to ditch these two guards," Nash said.
"How far are we from the border?" I asked him.
"We crossed about an hour ago, I’m going to take this side road, you get that shit ready. No witnesses, Maggie we can’t afford it." Nash said.
"I will not do it Nash; I can't take a life for no reason." I told him.
"You just get the shit ready I will do it." Nash yelled.
"We can just let them go; they don't know where we are going. Why add two murder charges to what you have already done." I begged.
"What are two more," he said to me. I sat and thought about it.
"Fine I will do it, I told him," he smiled.
"That's my girl," he said. He pulled the truck over to the side of the road and dragged the first guard out I went over and shot him with enough just to knock him out for a few hours and emptied the rest into he grass when he threw the next one to the ground I handed him the first needle and told him to go wipe it down and throw it away. Then I did the same with the second one. As I stood up he took the needle and wiped it down and threw it in the opposite direction.
"Let's go before someone see's us on this road," I told him. He turned the truck around and went back onto the main road. I need to call Brent and let him know we will be arriving in the morning. He pulled out his phone and I grabbed it. Find a gas station we need to get a burner phone. They can track these I said throwing our phones out the window of the truck. We pulled off into a gas station about half an hour later. Filled the tank and got two burner phones and some food then hit the road again. An hour later we pulled into a truck stop for the night and Nash called Brent telling him we would be there early in the morning. You should feel better, now no one knows where we are going or who we are related to," Nash said.
I hoped my not killing them would make them keep their mouths shut. What was done was done now. I was not a murderer.
TITAN'S POV
I was sitting outside with the guys having a couple of beer waiting for my phone calls. They should be calling any time now.
"You want to play a hand or to Alpha," Kale asked as he delt cards.
"No you all cheat." I laughed.
"That hurts Titan," Valen said holding his hand over his heart. I laughed at him. My phone rang it was Milly from the border.
"Hello Milly, what did you find?" I asked.
"We got your warriors they were shot up with some wolfsbane. But the have been looked at by our doctor and he said they were given very little. The warriors are anxious to talk to you. Give me a minute and I will go in their hospital room. Ted is going to come and fly them to the pack he will meet you there when you get there. Ok one minute." Milly said.
I could hear her talking to the warriors.
"Hello Alpha Titan?" The young man said.
"Hi, how are you both doing?" I asked.
"We will be ok Maggie was supposed to kill us, but she only gave us a small dose to knock us out. We made our way to the main highway hoping someone would come looking for us. But you need to know something Alpha, they are headed to Alpha Brent, we never heard them mention Brent's location. But you need to know Nash is Brent's half brother, they are both out to destroy the pack." The warrior told me.
