RAVEN'S POV
We had just fed the twins, and William had gone for a nap. Bre was going shopping for an hour. Mom and I were sitting in the living room. Titan came in and sat down beside me taking my one hand in his.
"I guess we have a lot to talk about," I said.
"I think we both have a lot of questions that need answered." Mom said.
"Raven, Mother Clare, I know you both need to talk but I have been asked to find out somethings from you by Ted and Sands. It is of the utmost importance that we get the answers from you Clare." Titan said.
"What is it you need to know Titan?" Mom asked.
"You were sent from the pack to live at Alpha Jomel's as a servant?" He asked.
"Yes, that is right." Mom said.
"When you were there two men came and took you from Alpha Jomel. Alpha Hunter and Alpha Morris?" Titan asked.
"Yes, Alpha Hunter had words with Alpha Morris and dropped him on the side of the road. Hunter put me in a very nice room promising me he was going to bring me to you and Raven. But after months he didn't I figured he was going to use me for something. He got a heads up from someone that the special police were coming, and he sent me to the woods with two people who worked for him to keep me hidden. He did not come or send for us for months the male guard took off. The woman who looked after me told me I could leave at anytime. But I had no idea where to go. How to find you. So, her and I stayed together and would make thing and take them to the human carnival and markets. That is where little Clare found me. You know the rest here I sit." mom told us.
"I will be right back, I have to call Ted and let him know, they will be arresting Hunter for kidnapping and forceable confinement. " Titan said and went outside to use his phone.
"Mom, I'm so sorry you went through such hardships. You are safe now. No one can hurt you now. I look forward to taking you back to our home and introducing you to me. Very special friends." I told her.
"I look forward to going home, is there still that single streetlight in front of the pack house?" Mom asked. I laughed.
"Yes, thank goodness our apartment faces the back of the pack house." I said.
"Your apartment? I use to help clean the pack house there were never any appointments on any floors." Mom said.
Titan took the Luna suite and some other room beside it and had an apartment made for us. I use to spend a lot of time in my suite. I was afraid to go anywhere it sounds so silly now. But that was when I first got to the pack. I would not even tell Titan my name the doctor gave me the name Jane." I laughed.
"What happened to you when you were taken Raven?" Mom asked just as titan came back into the cottage.
"Ah, I see I'm just in time. Raven do you want me to be with you for support, or do you want to talk to your mom privately?" Titan asked me.
"I would like for you to stay; it is hard going back over those memories alone." I told him.
"Let me refill everyone’s beverages and then you can tell your mom about your journey to me." Titan said.
"Can I just have ice water in my tumbler please?" I asked. He kissed my forehead.
"Anything you want my love. Mother Clare would you like more tea?" Titan asked.
"Please, Titan, I would appreciate it." Mom said. Titan went to the kitchen to get our drinks and Bre came and told me William was awake.
"Bre, I about to have a serious talk with my mom, would you mind watching him for a while for me. Maybe take him out to see the guys I know they love getting their daily orders from him." I laughed.
"Will do, I'm sure he will talk up a storm and get into everything in the van." Bre laughed. The guys pretended they got annoyed but the loved it. They would purposely give him thinks to play with that no pup in their second year should touch. They thought I did not know. They still had a lot to learn about me.
"Raven?" Titan said.
"Hum," I said.
"Your, tumbler love, what were you thinking about?" Titan asked.
"Just William and how your men spoil him," I said. Titan laughed. He gave mom her tea and she thanked him. Then he sat down on the couch beside me putting his arm on the back of the couch behind me.
"Wait, I need to get a box of tissue," Titan said getting up he came back and set it on the coffee table taking my hand and showing me where it was. I took a couple and put them in my lap then had some of my ice water.
"Mom this is still hard for me to talk about so please bare with me. One thing I want to make clear is none of this was your fault I never blamed you for any of it. Though I always thought of you and missed you " I told her.
"When Clare and I were taken we were taken to that nasty Alpha pack. We were assigned guardians. Clare and I had the same guardian. His name was Hawkins.... mom stopped me.
"Little Clare's mate?" She asked.
"Yes, same one." I replied coldly.
"Sorry go on I will try not to interrupt you." Mom said.
"Clare and I shared the same room; we cleaned the pack house everyday. We never saw the Alpha or Luna. Hawkins was good to us. He made sure we had things we needed. We always had Christmas and birthdays. Other guardians’ dud not do those things for their charges. This made us targets for being bullied. But we had each other and that is what kept each of us going. Clare and I started our sixteenth year, and the Alpha wanted to see us. This was the day I found out why he took us. He had made arranged mating planned for both of us to increase the population of his pack." I told her.
"That is why he took children?" Mom asked.
"I guess having us work as servants would make us more compliant to his plan when we got older." I said.
"How did you get away?" Mom asked I told her everything about Hawkins taking us and running and how I was his mate with Clare. Even how I felt rejected by him. How Shadow helped me with my illusions and we ran and me rejecting Hawkins before I left. By the end of two hours, I had just left the guy and was finishing my journey on my own.
