Good boy.
Good boy.
Silence…
For a full minute, the room fills with a heavy, dreadful stillness as Claudia stares at Sebastian, trying to make sense of the words that just left his mouth.
“Hey… I…”
Sebastian opens his mouth to speak, but no words come out.
Claudia scoffs. “You know what?” she begins, crossing her arms over her chest. “Just last night, I thought I’d met the right one. Even though I know you’re a playboy, I still thought you’d treat me right because you seemed genuine. But I guess I was wrong.”
She lets out a shaky laugh, running her fingers through her hair as a painful smile spreads across her lips. “I assumed you might actually like me. But right now, you’ve just proven that the only thing you care about is finding a place to stick your dick into.”
With that, Claudia turns around and walks toward the bathroom.
“Hey,” Sebastian called out, stopping Claudia just before she could open the bathroom door.
She turned around, one brow arched, waiting for him to say whatever nonsense he had left to say.
“I’m sorry, Claudia,” Sebastian said quietly, his gaze dropping to the floor. “Girls hardly ever reject me, and I think… I think that’s gotten into my head.” He mumbled while scuffing his shoe against the floor, his voice low.
“That’s it?” Claudia asked, her tone sharp. If he was truly sorry, she wanted to hear sincerity in his words.
“I don’t know, Claudia. I’m not good with words, but…” Sebastian paused, scratching the back of his head nervously. “All I can say is that I’m truly sorry for speaking to you that way. It was wrong of me, and I know it might be hard for you to forgive me but I’d really appreciate it if you could find it in your heart to do so.”
Claudia sighed and nodded her head a few times. This time, Sebastian sounded sincere.
“Have you ever visited a therapist?” she blurted out before she could stop herself.
Sebastian chuckled slightly, trying to lighten the mood. “Not really. I don’t think I need to.”
“Umm, okay,” Claudia murmured. “Anyway, I accept your apology. And I’m sorry too for calling you a dog.”
He chuckled again and nodded. “Apology accepted,” he said, biting his lip for a moment as he pondered what to say next.
“I should…”
“I need…”
Both of them spoke at the same time, their voices overlapping, which made them burst into laughter.
A few seconds later, as the laughter faded, Claudia stretched out her hand. “Why don’t you go ahead?”
“Nah, ladies first. Please, go ahead. I’m all ears,” he purred warmly.
There was something about Sebastian’s calm demeanor that made Claudia’s cheeks turn a crimson shade of red. She couldn’t help but notice how effortlessly sexy he looked when he was relaxed and genuine.
“Well, all I wanted to say is that I need to take my bath now,” she said softly.
Sebastian nodded in understanding and drew in a deep breath. “I wanted to say I should get going to, uh, take care of my throbbing monster… but now I’ve changed my mind. I think I’ll find us something to eat before we head back to my father’s mansion.”
“Hahaha,” Claudia laughed, covering her mouth. “Do you want a lady to take care of your…”
She didn’t finish her sentence, her eyes drifting downward until they settled on the noticeable bulge in his trousers.
“Nooo,” Sebastian replied quickly, a small grin tugging at his lips. “I’ll handle it myself.”
With that, he turned around and stepped out of the room.
Claudia rolled her eyes at his behavior before opening the bathroom door and stepping inside.
She slipped off her bathrobe, turned on the shower, and let the warm water flow down from her hair to the rest of her body.
A few minutes later, after finishing her bath, she wrapped a towel around herself, drying her damp hair and then her body.
When she stepped out of the bathroom, she noticed a pink floral gown neatly laid out on the bed, along with a black bra and panties.
“Dammit… Sebastian is quite sexy,” Claudia muttered to herself with a small smile before slipping into the clothes he had set out for her.
After dressing, she looked around but couldn’t find her clothes from the previous day or her handbag.
“Where could they have gone?” she wondered before stepping out of the bedroom.
In the living room, she saw that Sebastian had already ordered a meal for her, neatly arranged on the dining table.
“Baby girl, come have your breakfast, okay? I’ve already moved all your things to my car so you won’t have to stress,” he said.
“You’re sexy when you act so caring,” Claudia whispered before taking a seat at the dining table and digging in.
While she ate, Sebastian used the time to handle a few business calls and reply to some emails.
“Hey, I’m done,” Claudia said after finishing her meal.
Her voice pulled Sebastian out of his business mode, and he turned to look at her. “Let’s get going, then,” he purred, rising from his seat.
Claudia didn’t protest or say a word. She simply followed him as they left the hotel room, headed straight to the elevator, and soon arrived at the hotel lobby.
Sebastian handed the master key to the receptionist on duty, then they stepped out of the hotel and walked straight to his car parked out front.
Like a gentleman, he opened the door for Claudia, and she slid into the passenger seat. He walked around to the driver’s side and got in.
“I’ll take you to my father’s mansion first, then I’ll head to my company,” he explained, wanting her to know what to expect.
“Can’t I come with you to work? I’ll be bored all alone at the mansion,” Claudia said, pouting slightly.
Sebastian sighed, started the engine, and glanced at her. “I can skip work today. Besides, I still feel bad about what I said earlier.”
The sincerity in his voice made Claudia’s heart skip a beat and before she could stop herself, she leaned toward him and pressed a soft kiss on his lips.
“Good boy,” she purred, then leaned back in her seat.
