Chapter 638 Olivia's Birthday

Chapter 638 Olivia's Birthday

Just as he was about to continue, I reminded him, "Don't take too long, Ryan wouldn't be cool with it."

Matthew paused for a moment, then realized I was talking about the scars on my face. Reluctantly, he nodded.

Because Matthew had such stamina, I was worried it might cause problems, so I made him stop halfway through. I knew it would be uncomfortable for him, but for safety's sake, I had to.

Afterwards, he wanted to cuddle, but his lower half kept pressing against me uncomfortably. I knew it was hard for him too, so I steeled myself and kicked him out.

"I have nowhere to go. Are you really going to make me sleep on the street?"

Matthew blocked the door, smiling as he asked.

I rolled my eyes at him. "The CEO of Horizon Innovations Group has nowhere to sleep? By the way, what's the deal with your assistant? You never mentioned you had a twin brother."

I suddenly thought of Jonathan and asked casually.

"He's not my brother, but he might as well be."

Matthew explained Jonathan's situation to me.

According to Matthew, Jonathan was an orphan adopted by the Taylor family's butler. A few years after the adoption, the old butler passed away, and since he had no relatives, Jonathan was taken in by Matthew's father. They noticed Jonathan bore a resemblance to Matthew, so they named him Jonathan Taylor.

The Taylor family never treated Jonathan as a servant. Growing up with the old butler, Jonathan understood the rules and never claimed to be Matthew's brother. He was grateful and stayed by Matthew's side as his butler and assistant. The reason he hadn't appeared before was that he was managing some overseas projects for Matthew.

"I won the bet with my mom thanks to you domestically and him internationally."

Matthew sighed, then fell silent. I figured that was the end of Jonathan's story, so I shut the door without another word.

"Wait, don't close the door. I have something to discuss. Open up."

Matthew wasn't angry at my sudden door-closing. Instead, he knocked and smiled.

I thought he was tricking me into opening the door, but he quickly mentioned what he wanted to discuss, making it clear he was serious.

"Olivia's birthday is coming up. How are you planning to celebrate?"

Hearing Matthew's question from outside the door made me freeze. I felt guilty for forgetting my own daughter's birthday while Matthew remembered. It was inexcusable.

"Do you have any ideas?"

I opened the door, looking at Matthew's mischievous grin.

"Let's go to Serenity Meadows Villas. Invite your parents and give Olivia a proper birthday celebration."

I nodded at Matthew's suggestion. Thinking of Serenity Meadows Villas reminded me of my birthday gifts, so I suddenly leaned in and kissed Matthew on the lips. Matthew, not one to miss an opportunity, held my head in place and deepened the kiss.

Then his hands started wandering. I quickly slapped his hand away from my chest and gave him a reproachful look. "No, Ryan warned me. Do you want my face to end up with scars again?"

I had to admit, Matthew's sexual needs were higher than most. I understood how hard it was for him when I stopped him halfway earlier, but I had to protect my face.

Matthew understood. Though I could see he was still uncomfortable, he restrained himself. He lifted the hand from my chest to stroke my head, then kissed my forehead. "In a month, you owe me with interest."
