Chapter 53 High

Chapter 53 High
RORY POV

I retreated to the bar and grabbed more drinks. I felt so fucking good. Every pulse of the bass made me want to push further, to enjoy this day to the absolute fullest before I had to head back to the cage called my husband's home.

I handed over one of the black cards and the bartender’s eyes went slightly wide at it. The girls appeared beside me immediately like they had sensed money.

"Buy for us too? Come on, Rory, don't stop now."

I didn't care. I bought plenty, rounds for all of them, rounds for people I didn’t even know standing nearby. I didn’t care. I just wanted to make the best out of this night.

We gathered everything and turned to head back to their booth.

I was halfway there when someone stepped into my path, a solid wall of muscle that didn't budge.

He was intimidating. Dangerous. Tattoos crawled up his throat and covered half of his face, and his eyes had a cold, predatory stillness that made my stomach flip. I tried to sidestep him, but he blocked me again.

"Hey," he rumbled, his voice grating against the music. "You look familiar. Are you Anastasia?"

My breath hitched.

Looks like someone knows Anastasia here.

"No," I managed, trying to sound tougher than I felt. "My name is Aurora, not Ana. If you'll excuse me, I have to go meet my friends."

He looked at me, his brow furrowing in genuine confusion. For a second, I thought he wouldn't let me go, but then he stepped back, giving me a path. I didn't look back as I hurried to the booth.

The thought of that man somehow unsettled me.

“Let’s spice this up more,” Mia—the blue-haired one—whispered. She pulled a small plastic bag from her bra, filled with tiny, vibrant pills. She picked out a bright blue one and dropped it straight into my fresh drink. “You’ll feel so much better with this. Trust me.”

I was so drunk I couldn't even find the logic to say no. I didn't know if this was right or wrong anymore, I just knew I wanted the spinning in my head to stop being scary and start being fun. I grabbed the glass and downed it in one jagged gulp.

A sharp, electric pain shot through my skull.
My ears began to ring, a high-pitched hum that drowned out the bass of the music.

Suddenly, I was floating. The floor felt miles away, and my body turned damp and feverish.

"Do you feel hot?" one of them asked, her voice echoing as if she were underwater.

Hot? I felt like I was burning from the inside out. My skin was on fire. I let out a weak
"Mmhmm," my head lolling back.

"These must be heavy. Let me free you, honey."

Her hands came to the straps of my dress and pulled them off my shoulders. My ample breasts spilled out completely, heavy and bare under the flashing lights.

What’s happening? My thoughts were slow, foggy. My body felt numb, like it wasn’t fully mine anymore, I couldn't even reach up to cover myself. I couldn't even move my fingers.

They grabbed my tits roughly. “Fuck, these are so juicy and soft. Look at how big and heavy they are perfect for sucking.”

Before I could process it, both girls leaned in.

One took my left nipple into her mouth, sucking hard, tongue swirling around the stiff peak. The other did the same to my right, teeth grazing lightly while she squeezed and jiggled the soft flesh.

I let them at first, the drug making everything feel hazy and warm. But it didn’t feel right. It didn’t feel like when Alexander touched me. It wasn’t the same intense, desperate rush. Not even close. His hands on me for one second did more than this and I was standing here with two people on me and feeling completely hollow. It was just… okay. Not enough.

I tried to wriggle my body free, but they held me down gently. “It’s okay, baby. Just relax and enjoy. Let us make you feel good.”

Through the haze, I saw people pulling out their phones. I saw someone digging through my bag, their fingers dancing near my wallet.

Their tongues were still on my tits, licking and sucking noisily. I slurred weakly, “I said I’m married…”

They laughed against my skin. “Married women don’t come to clubs dressed like this. Just enjoy it, slut.”

I was too gone to fight it properly. My body wasn’t mine anymore. The drug had taken whatever was left of my control and I was just existing inside it.

All of a sudden, the song stopped. The silence was deafening, a physical weight that crashed down on the room.

The floor parted. The crowd separated like they were being pushed by an invisible force.

I managed to peep through the gaps in the bodies, and my heart dropped into the pit of my stomach.

Alexander was standing in the middle of the club.

His face was a mask of hard, pure rage-a look so lethal it made the air in the room turn to ice.
He saw me.
With two different girls mouths on my tits, open and sucking, my dress bunched around my waist, breasts fully exposed and glistening with their spit.

The high vanished, replaced by a terror so sharp it cut right through the drugs.
