Chapter 50 Rebel

Chapter 50 Rebel
RORY POV

Maybe being married to Alexander isn’t that bad after all? I don’t know… I’m scared my feelings will eat me up so much and when he sees me for me and not for Anastasia he might snap and put a leash on me.

But I like the affection too much to stop wanting it. Last night when we slept and he pulled me towards him, he spent the night rubbing my hair back slowly while I pretended to be asleep. It’s so hard not to catch feelings for him if he keeps doing things like this. I was so close to waking him up in the middle of the night and begging him to eat me out again because somehow I can’t get enough of him since he went down on me last night. I’m scared he had exposed me to things I had no idea of and I’ll be sick if he stopped, because no one can make me feel that way.

Steve had once tried to touch me down there once, I could swear I bled and cried that night, it was painful. He said I was so dry down there and he gave up. Which is weird now considering I was hearing the splash splash sounds my clit was making yesterday, thanks to my hus—

"Down to fucking earth, Aurora," Alexander snapped, breaking my trance.

He stepped out of the walk-in closet, looking devastatingly handsome in a charcoal suit that hugged his broad shoulders perfectly. He looked like a god, and he knew it.

"Uhm... I'm sorry," I apologized, my face heating up as I realized l'd been staring.

"Liam won't be around today, he has a therapy session. Spend the day with Vivienne, or squash whatever beef you have with Rosemary. It's childish."

I scowled at the mention of Rosemary. My eyes narrowed, and Alexander's followed suit, tracking my defiance. I wasn't squashing anything, she started it, and she could be the one to apologize. But I wasn't stupid enough to say that to him.

"Can I go out with Ella?" | asked instead, sitting up in bed. I caught a glimpse of my discarded panties on the carpet and winced. I’ll just take them when he leaves for work.

"Because I ate you out for one night, you think you can make demands now?" he mocked, his tone returning to that bored, billionaire rasp.

Duh. I didn't force him. He flew across the country just to "get a taste," as he put it.

"Please, Alexander.." I begged.

"No. If that's your excuse to go see your little boyfriend, it won't work."

I huffed, falling back against the pillows. I didn't even care about Steve anymore, but Alexander was convinced I still do.

Before I could argue, he cut me off. "This conversation is over."

He adjusted his cufflinks and walked toward the bed, his frame towering over me as he reached the edge. My breath hitched as he leaned down, his large hand grabbing my chin to tilt my face up. He planted a hard, searing kiss on my lips while his other hand reached under the covers, pinching my left nipple with a sharp, possessive pressure.

My senses fried instantly. Before I could even find the strength to kiss him back, he broke away and straightened his suit.

Before he reached the door, he paused, turned back, and bent down to pick up my discarded panties from the floor. He brought them to his nose, inhaled deeply , slow and deliberate then tucked them into the inside pocket of his suit jacket like it was the most normal thing in the world.

I sat there dazed, my ears turning bright pink.

What is his obsession with my underwear?

That was the second pair.

He glanced at me one last time, that dark smirk tugging at his lips, then walked out without a word.

I stood up an hour later after replaying last night in my mind, I was ready to find Vivienne and binge-watch something to distract myself.

But when I reached her wing, I stopped short.

Vivienne was dressed like an assassin on a high-stakes mission. She wore a long black leather coat, heavy black boots, and dark sunglasses pushed up onto her head, her hair pulled into a tight, lethal bun.

"You're going out?" | asked, surprised.

She turned, flashing a sharp grin. "Oh... it's my sweet, innocent sister-in-law." She paused, leaning in to sniff the air around me. "You smell like sex. Did you two finally do something last night?"

How the hell could she read me so easily?

"Not really... he just... just forget about that for now," I stuttered, unable to find the words.

"Okay, chick. Well, I have a mission. I'm going out to stalk Luke. The bastard has been dangerously avoiding me since that night. I didn't know he was taking the 'boundaries' talk this seriously. He's not even replying to my texts."

I blinked. Maybe Luke was just tired of being her toy. "Stalking is crazy, Vi."

"Well, I prefer to call it welfare check...I can't talk to him in my brother's presence, and he's currently two towns away in Greenwich. I'm going to go find him, talk some sense into him, and maybe I'll let him give me apology sex when I'm done."

I was genuinely convinced she was crazier than her brother.

"I wish you luck. I thought we were going to watch a movie, but I guess I'll be alone." I pouted.

“I know, I’m sorry cute potato.” She grabbed my face briefly. “But listen. You have five black cards. You have a whole city. You’ve never been to a club have you?”

“No,” I said.

"That sucks, bitch," she said, her voice dropping to a conspiratorial whisper. "Look, Rory, you need more fun. You have five black cards-enjoy your life! Wear a skimpy, revealing dress. Go to a club. Buy drinks for everybody. Dance. Do all the things your parents or Alexander wouldn't let you do. This is your chance to actually live."

Her words landed somewhere real.

Her words hit me hard. Growing up, I was the
"good kid," the proper one. I never got to be wild. And Alexander... Alexander treated me like a precious, caged bird.

“He’ll find out,” I said.

“Only if you tell him,” she said. “Sneak out. Luke isn’t here to report back.”

A thought was already forming in my head. A slightly dangerous one that I was going to follow anyway.

“Okay,” I said. “Thank you Vi.”

“You’re welcome sister,” she said. “Send me pictures of you in a dangerous dress. Byeee.”

She walked away clicking down the corridor like she owned it.

I stood there for a moment.

Club it is.

God I didn’t want to regret this.
