Chapter 195 Final

Chapter 195 Final
ANASTASIA POV

“Alexander, stop!” I screeched, my voice bouncing off the walls of my office.

He didn’t even flinch. He didn’t bulge an inch. His massive hand stayed locked like a vice grip on the back of Brown’s head, and he just kept violently banging his forehead against the heavy mahogany table.

Crack. Crack. Crack.

The sound of wood meeting bone was sickening. Brown let out a choked, muffled scream as blood instantly splattered across my neatly stacked financial files. He tried to flail his arms, tried to grip Alexander’s wrist to pry himself loose, but it was like trying to fight off a brick wall. Alexander’s face was completely blank—dead, empty eye, just executing a task.

“You’re going to kill him! Alexander, please, stop!”

I scrambled out of my chair, my sore thighs screaming in protest, and gripped Alexander's forearm with both hands, pulling with everything I had. That finally got through to him. He let go, but not before giving one final, brutal shove that sent Brown flying backward, landing hard on his ass against the office carpet.

Brown was a complete mess. He groaned in agony, clutching his face as blood poured from his broken nose, dripping through his fingers. But Alexander wasn't done. Before the old man could even try to scramble away, Alexander stepped into his space and delivered a savage, heavy kick right to Mr. Brown's nuts.

Brown doubled over into the fetal position, making a high-pitched, strangled wheezing sound that honestly made me want to laugh, despite the horror.

“You’re… you’re going to pay for this!” Brown snarled, his voice trembling as he looked up at Alexander through his tears and blood.

I stepped right in front of Alexander before he could stomp the man's throat in. “He’s not going to pay for shit! I’m reporting you to my father today, and you’re getting kicked out of this company permanently. Get out!”

Brown huffed, dragging himself up from the floor by clutching the edge of the couch. He wiped his bloody face with his sleeve, glaring at both of us with pure hatred, before finally limping out of my office and slamming the door behind him.

The silence that followed was heavy. I stood there for a long moment, staring at the drops of blood on my desk, my heart hammering against my ribs. The adrenaline was fading, leaving me completely drained. I let out a massive sigh, practically collapsing back into my leather seat, and palmed my face in total exhaustion. My head was still throbbing from the hangover, and dealing with a bloody assault before 2 PM was not on my agenda.

“Hey… are you okay?”

Alexander’s deep voice was suddenly much closer. I removed my hands from my face and realized he was already standing right in front of me, bending down to my exact eye level. The terrifying monster from two seconds ago was gone, replaced by the man looking at me like I was the only thing that mattered in the room.

“I’m okay. Thank you...” I breathed out, my shoulders dropping.

His large hand automatically reached out toward my face, but then he suddenly pulled back, freezing mid-air. He probably thought I didn't want him to touch me after seeing him act like a psycho. I gave him a little nod, giving him the silent go-ahead.

Slowly, he placed his palm against my forehead, carefully checking my temperature. I looked up into his single eye, our gazes clashing. He was so close I could feel the heat radiating off his skin, suffocating me in his scent. His eye flicked down to my lips, lingering there with a heavy intensity, like he wanted to kiss the fuck out of me right there on the desk.

The tension in the air was getting way too thick, so I slapped his hand away and let out a breath.

“What are you even doing here anyway? Don’t you have a business to run anymore, Alexander? At this rate, you’re going to go bankrupt.”

“If it gets me to be with you, I don’t mind.” he shrugged, completely unbothered as he turned around and sat in the leather chair across from me.

I rolled my eyes playfully. “That means you’ll be broke. I don’t know if you haven't heard, but I don’t want to be with a broke man.”

Alexander let out a deep, rumbling chuckle that vibrated straight through my body.
“Does that mean you fell in love with my money and not me?” he said, practically laughing his ass off.

I kicked him hard under the table, hitting his shin. Both of us were smiling from ear to ear, and just like that, the horror of the morning washed away. Everything felt so normal.

“Back to the conversation at hand,” Alexander said, his tone suddenly shifting as he leaned forward. His eye narrowed into a wicked, teasing glint. “Did you really say you don’t remember sexually harassing me yesterday?”

My skin instantly burned with deep embarrassment.

“I don’t remember anything. I can’t really recall,” I said innocently, rubbing the back of my neck and looking anywhere but at him.

His smirk deepened, stretching across his face. He moved right to the edge of his seat, his eyes searching mine desperately, completely enjoying my torture. “Tell me you didn’t wake up with your pussy all sore. Tell me you didn’t remember begging me to eat you out, desperately climbing on top of me and spending all night fucking the hell out of me. Sexually abusing me. Tell me you didn’t see the evidence on the sheets.”

He smiled wider with every single word, clearly replaying every filthy moment of last night in his head.

“Don’t talk dirty in my office, Alexander. It’s not proper.” I blushed furiously, my cheeks feeling like liquid fire.

He hummed in response, leaning back slightly. “So you do remember? Right? You remember every single moment of you fucking me like a deranged animal.”

God. If I wasn’t in love with this man, I would have strangled him right across the table.

I leaned forward, matching his posture, a slow, dangerous smirk spreading on my own face. It was time for a counter-attack. “How about we talk about you coming two seconds before I even fucked you?”

His jaw tightened immediately. The smirk vanished from his face.

Two can definitely play this game.

“Shut up, Anastasia! That isn’t true,” he gritted out, his voice dropping into a harsh rasp.

“Are you sure about that, Alexander? You claimed I assaulted you, but you basically came in two seconds. Tell me you didn’t enjoy it.”

Alexander's cheeks reddened. A dark, distinct flush crept up his neck and flooded his face. Do you know what that means? He was blushing. The arrogant, terrifying billionaire asshole was actually blushing.

“Okay, stop it. Let’s forget about it,” he finally muttered, looking away.

“That’s what I thought.” I leaned back in my chair, thoroughly satisfied with my victory.

Alexander quieted down for a moment, the playful teasing dropping away. His expression turned serious, almost vulnerable, as he looked back at me. “How did you feel about it, though? Truly? Will you talk about it? Do you regret it? I’m sorry I couldn’t hold you back.”

He was being sincere. And honestly, I wasn’t even mad at him. It was obvious we had to do it someday, and last night felt like exactly what I needed.

I shook my head, my eyes softening. “I loved it. I don’t regret a single thing, Alexander. And I’m glad you let me take all my emotions out on your body.”

He nodded slowly, processing my words, a look of profound relief washing over his features. “Good. We could make arrangements for next time, then. Preferably in our house. You could tie me to the bedpost and use some instruments.”

“You’re crazy, Alexander,” I said, blushing hard all over again, even though deep down in my gut, I wanted to do every single thing he just said. And more.

Author's note: Love these two!❤️

(Dear lovely readers, I’ll finally mark this book complete this week, and I won’t be updating for a while. I’ve been writing this book for over four months; it’s time I took a break. So if I ever update it again, it’s just going to be their closing chapters. Big thanks to everyone who enjoyed this book. I’m supposed to start working on another dark romance, but my editor advised me to write a sports romance instead, since it’s what’s selling on the app these days. So my next book might be a sports romance, maybe a little dark. It could also be another dark romance, depending on how inspired I get, and that will be after my break. I hope my readers will always be here when I’m back. Thank you all for the support. I’m so emotional right now because I never expected to have readers who enjoyed this book across different platforms ❤️ Thank you so much, guys! I’m so freaking grateful. Feel free to drop reviews 🫶)
