CHAPTER SEVENTY-TWO: LEAKED INFORMATION.
MILES:
My gaze shifted from my throbbing cock to her serious face and then to the door. “Meredith, continue with what you were doing,” I repeated once more.
Arms crossed to the chest, “no!” she rejected in a low growl. The knock came again, and I smiled. As if she read my mind knowing what I was about to do, “don't you--”
“Come in!” I yelled. Immediately, she dropped to her knees with a small giggle. In no time, her mouth was on my cock. She had the most beautiful lips I have ever seen.
Brandon strode in. His demeanor read trouble. “I am sorry to interrupt your work, but you need to listen to the news. You should check-”
“Fuck!” I hissed when Meredith hit a spot. It was in a bid to not moan out loud in front of Brandon. She was playing with my balls while sucking just the tip of my cock.
“Are you okay, Mr. Pierce?” He took steps forward, but I was quick to intervene.
“It is fine,” I said through gritted teeth. “What were you saying?”
“That you need to check your phone. There is--”
“MMH,” I shook my head from side to side, pleasure growing. Clasping my hands together, I rested my forehead on the back of my palm.
“Do I need to call Grenada? Are you having a problem?”
“I am fine. I will check them soon. You may leave,” I rushed my words.
Brandon nodded and shut the door. Meredith picked a rhythm, going harder and faster. In no time, I was screaming her name, offloading my cum into her mouth. She swallowed, not allowing a single trail to escape.
Breathing out, I moved my seat back, helping her to get up. She sat on the edge of the table, a proud smile on her face. Regardless of her ruined makeup and hair, the rest of her looked put together.
“I feel better,” I announced, tucking my dick back into my brief, zipping my fly. I left my belt unbuckled since we would be heading home. So I thought.
“I should go get my things since we are leaving shortly.”
“No. I am exhausted and need to go rest. Wait. Let me finalize some things and check the news and my phone like Brandon said and we will leave. Just sit on that table with your sexy self.”
Smiling, “Yes, daddy.”
“Say it like that one more time, and I will fuck you. Hard.”
She flushed and looked away.
Reaching for the phone, I turned it on. There had been thousands of missed calls from Steele and Neymar. Also, my email was flooded with messages. The first thing I opened was a message from Neymar which read, “Sir, kindly check the blogs. We have a problem.”
I opened the browsers of my phone, and making the headline was, 'A source close to Pierce Empire has stated that her alleged romance with a new girlfriend is fake,' that was the title boldly written.
Taking out one of the drawers attached to the table, I took out the remote that held the hidden TV in my office. It was rooted in the ground and, with that remote, it brought itself up. Meredith's excitement grew at the cool feature in my office. Turning on the TV, A male news anchor was finishing his news. “On entertainment news tonight, making the headline is the fact that a billionaire, Miles Pierce, might have faked a relationship with a public sweetheart to grow his stock. The source of this information is not yet confirmed, but there is strong evidence that his new girlfriend is a paid actress who has been acting as his girlfriend. This is a fraudulent act he initiated when he wanted to go to the prosperous football club, Steele. We are yet to confirm any source close to Steele or Mr. Pierce.”
Meredith went pale hearing the report. The rest of what he said didn't make sense to me, since I snatched my phone to go through the calls, emails, and texts from Steel. I tried calling back, but it wasn't going through.
Straight to my email, Steele had sent a email reading:
“We regret to inform you that the final acquisition process slated for the 15th of August has been postponed until further notice. If an investigation and evidence confirm clause 3.5 of the contract to be true, you will lose the deal and whatever expenses that has been made will be equally handled and covered by both parties. We hope that this is a mere shenanigan by rivals to cause a ruckus. We apologize for any inconvenience. Until further notice, stay healthy.
David Steele.
Business Manager of Steele Football club.”
Another text from Steele read, too, “I called to hear from you first. Since you are unavailable, I will allow you to rectify this once you can.”
“What is happening? Does this mean we have lost Steele?” Meredith questioned, her voice laced with panic.
Relaxing, I buckled my pants and turned off the television. “It is nothing serious. I only need to find out who the informant is. A press release and a trip to visit Aarhus and Zara should fix this. After all, we are dating.”
She visibly relaxed. “I don't want you losing, Miles. I know how much you worked hard for this.”
“Yeah.”
A calm mind will sort things. It was eating me up that somehow the press managed to get such info, but I had no suspects. Get home, eat dinner, shower and relax with my girl. By tomorrow, I will get to the bottom of this.
After finishing, I grabbed her hand, and we left. On our way out, she grabbed her purse, and we headed home, knowing that there was a fight to deal with. Losing Steele wasn't an option. Also, this news needed to be squashed, although it couldn't do much harm since it was a weightless and fact less accusation. But again, who is the traitor selling information, and what evidence was out there that would prove them right?
