CHAPTER EIGHTY-THREE —Distant strangers
The room was silent except for some occasional sounds filtering from everywhere. The birds are chirping from outside his window. The pet animals chattering somewhere from the next floor. Phones buzzing from every corner. And the occasional clacking sound of the laptops rented the company space. None of these sounds interfered with what Damian was doing. He was a hundred percent focused on his job. But a swooshing sound of the door opening, though made him look up swiftly from the laptop he was working on. It was his secretary’s glass-rimmed face that he saw peeking into his office. Removing the ear pod, he asked almost rudely what she wanted. He had left her specific instruction that he wanted no distraction. This better be worth his time, or he would be furious with her. The work had to be submitted in the next hour, and he wanted to be sure his staff left no stone unturned. Checking the time, he asked, “What is it, Keisha?”
“Sorry, boss.” the lady apologized. She stayed glued to the door. “Two gentlemen are here. They claim to be your friend.” her boss raised his brows questioningly. “Said they are Bonnie and Clyde.” she scoffed but pretended to scratch her nose. The movement pushed her glasses up, giving her perfect time to cover her mouth while she stifled a laugh. Those two in the lobby were real-life clowns. They had been there a while, entertaining her because she insisted they couldn’t go in. Her boss wanted no disturbance. Then they told her she had be in trouble if he knew they were here, and she didn’t let them. She would have let that slide if not that they had brought out their phones and wanted to call her boss. Wanting no issues, she decided to check in with Damian. Then they told her their names, and she burst into laughter. “Really?” she stopped in midstride. Obviously, their names weren’t that, but they insisted her boss would immediately know who they were if she gave those names. Now, looking at her boss’ frown, she wasn’t sure that was a good idea.
Bonnie and Clyde? That was James and Judah, he smirked. Whatever was it that brought them to Texas? Without dragging it, he asked his secretary to let them in. “Let them.” he told his secretary while finishing up on the laptop. He went through the page he was on before Keisha popped on again.
“Okay.” the secretary replied and closed the door.
The two men soon walked in just as Damian wrapped up on the laptop. He saved the page and sent it to his manager’s email address. Then moving towards his threesome couch, he smiled heartily as the men walked in. The threesome couch was a new set delivered not long ago, and he had been dying to try it out. He might as well have his visitors here. As the men strolled in, his secretary peered behind them so; he waved her over. “Bonnie, Clyde?” he greeted them with a rough laugh as the men elbowed him and pulled him for a hug.
The secretary stood by, watching their strange characteristic greeting. The men were strange in appearance. While one was unusually short, the other was exceptionally tall. Taller than even her boss, who was a very tall man himself. Could that be where their clown name came from? Bonnie? “Sir?” she quickly responded as her boss called her name, interrupting her thought.
“Where did you go?” accused Damian. Without allowing her to respond, he repeated the men’s order. “The men want exotic wine. Get me something too, and a snack.”
“Sire, boss.” Keisha replied, a bit distracted as she stepped out hurriedly.
The men sat down facing Damian as they bantered about his lovely office. The tall one, Judah, asked how he had been. “Come to think of it, I haven’t seen you in the tabloids lately.” he said, rubbing his beard fondly.
His secretary walked in then. She served the drinks, curtsied and left the men to it. But her boss called her back. “Sir?”
Damian nodded at his laptop. “Tell the manager to check his mail. I sent my final draft. But I want him to go through the last three pages thoroughly.” he stressed, “Thoroughly, before sending it to the company. He should let me know if there’s anything he isn’t clear with. Okay?”
“Okay, boss.” Said the lady as she walked out of the room.
“Where were we, friends?” he asked his friends while he filled their glasses himself.
“The tabloids. I haven’t seen you anywhere there lately. Why’s that?”
“Have you been checking, right?” James butt in before Damian could say anything to that. “The man was in there for closing another million freaking dollar business.”
“Well, true.” Judah agreed too readily, his hand never left the beard. Now though, it has wandered towards the mustache and was circling back down. His other hand twirls his drink with such expertise. “What I mean though is the blondes that were always in the background, somewhere.”
Downing his glass in one gulp, James dropped the empty cup and relaxed on the couch with a keen smile. He ruminated over what his partner had just said, “He has a point, you know.” he said to Damian. When the man offered to fill his glass, he shook his head. He had better plans for tonight, and getting drunk before he got down to it wasn’t part of it.
Damian laughed with a dismissive wave that they should look well enough for their blondes. “I’m sure you’ll find them somewhere.” he threw back at Judah.
“He’s gone soft.” Judah pointed out. “Which is why…” he left the words hanging while exchanging meaningful looks with James.
“No, no.” Damian said, tossing his head at the men. If anything, he knew this wasn’t a good call. The two clowns up in his business wasn’t something he wanted in his life right now. Not when he had Ainsley. These men’s idea of fun was always overboard.
“Well, anything new going on for you here?” James pressed.
“I have no idea what you mean, Judah. I believe though, that you are about to tell me that.” he snickered. Knowing the men, as adventurous as they were, he was sure some crazy, fun idea brought them here. Just as he knew, he wasn’t going to like it one bit.
“There’s this new club in town….”
“Say no more.” Damian cut in. “I’m not in for that shit anymore.” the last time he went to a club with them, they almost ended up getting stripped butt naked. They had to pay to get out of that shit.
“You think?” James laughed. “It’s nothing dangerous, I assure you.” he whispered, “This place is lit. The ladies brought in are fresh and sweet. Not the usual.”
“No, Bonnie. Clyde. Leave me out of this.”
A few hours later, the men had successfully talked Damian into going to the club with them. Standing outside the building, he wondered what he was doing here. “You’re sure this is the place?” the building didn’t look like any fancy club as his friends had described. If anything, it looked more like an abandoned place with its falling apart fence and old wallpaper.
“Don’t be deceived by the cover.” James slurred. He locked his car, as did the others, and they strolled into the building. “It’s exclusive.”
Damian scoffed. Somehow he still felt this wasn’t the place his friends had in mind. “Whatever exclusive could be here?” he mocked his friends. But they had barely walked three feet when the scenery changed. He was suddenly hit by bright light, so bright he had to blink a couple of times to adjust his eyes to the brightness. “Wow…” he gasped as he was led through some fancy curtain into a mini-bar.
“Told ya.” Judah leaned towards him to whisper in his ear. “And you ain’t seen the VVIP yet.”
They were welcomed by a classical lady in a short black gown with her curly hair covering most of her face. The lady recognized her clients, Bonnie and Clyde, and she gave them a warm hug. “Who’s this?” she asked, flinging her curls so she could get a better view of the man behind them.
“A friend.” said both men with a mischievous grin.
“Friend.” she slurred. The men nodded as they began walking towards the VVIP section. She beaconed as she rounded the corner to Damian, who was still looking around, dazzled. “I see you haven’t been here before.” she said to him as he got to her.
“No”
“That’s understandable.” she said casually as she stopped to let him go meet his friends. “Our girls will be with you shortly.” she told him. “Your friends know the drill.”
As she said that, Damian couldn’t help feeling that he had landed himself in something he wouldn’t like. His two friends sat quickly on each side, making him sit in between them. That was when he looked around his surroundings. A look from the odd color of the room, down to the ladies strapped some feet away from him. He started to realize just what he had walked into. The room was red. At the center of the room was a ring-like structure where different ladies in different costumes stood. He looked at them and knew they were dressed as sex slaves, with their whips and neck chain claps. Taking in deep breaths, he asked them, “What is the drill?”
“You wait and see.” James and Judah replied mysteriously.
That only pissed him up. Slamming his fist on both his sides, he asked again through gritted teeth, “What the heck is the drill?”
“Well, as you have seen.” James said, looking around for emphasis. “It’s a BDSM club.”
“The fuck will I want to be in this kinda club, James?” Damian hit the table angrily. Some men looked their way, but he didn’t care. He was past reasoning now. Little wonder he didn’t know the club existed in Texas. Who authorized this kind of business here? He hated the idea of stringing women up for sex. It was demeaning to him. He would never understand why anyone wanted to do that for pleasure. It was a sickening practice. “Ass spanking sex? Really?” he glared at his friends. He was as amused as he was disgusted with the men.
Judah rubbed his beard as he smiled at his friend, “That was James’ first thought too.” he shrugged, “A trial, and he was hooked.”
“I can never be hooked on this.” Damian assured.
“The rush, the adrenaline.” James cooed, “Man, it’s addictive. Ain’t you feeling hiked already?”
“You can never get what you get here elsewhere.” Judah added.
The lady who welcomed them suddenly showed again. Damian had to hold in his anger until she was out of their faces again. He listened as his friends gave some coded order. White bitch. Dame nurse? His hand balled into a tight fist while he held it in. When it was his turn to request his sex slave, he had no idea what to say. He had been so busy fuming he didn’t think he was on the seat himself. “I won’t be making any order.” he blurted out angrily.
The lady smiled at the two men beside him, “Okay, Mr. Damian. Anything else, Bonnie?”
“Come back later.” James ordered the lady, “He’ll be ready then. Just get us the ladies we ordered. In the right order.” He prided himself on his little rhyming words.
The lady swayed her hips as she walked away from the men. Damian watched her leave the room before turning to his friends, “Are you sick in the head? I can’t do this. I’ve never liked it.”
“Nobody does until you’ve tasted it.” James cajoled, “Trust me.” he suddenly stopped talking as their orders arrived. His white bitch looked everything he dreamt of. She was as white as snow. Her black lips and matching black eye shadow setting made a good match with her black leather outfit. He had a hard-on immediately. He looked at Damian and then down at his groin.
Tossing his head, Damian glared at him. Beside him, Judah was already moaning as his dame nurse, dressed in all white, had his ass up. She held a giant cane. No, wait, that had a sharp pointed mouth. An injection? “You gotta be kidding me.” he rasped. The dame nurse stopped working. She smiled at Damian and rolled on top of him. “Get off me.” he said, a bit disgusted. He saw a flash and turned around to check at that moment. Was that a camera? “Is someone taking pictures?” he asked, pushing the lady off him.
“Get off him.” Judah told his woman, “He isn’t feeling this place yet.” The nurse lady got off him with a pout. She got back on her client’s laps and started nibbling his nipple through his shirt.
Seeing their Texas friend looking everywhere still with so much distrust, James said, “It’s exclusive, Dame. Relax…”
“I could swear I heard the camera click.” he cut into James’ talk as he looked around again. Judah was distracted now. He wasn’t paying them any attention.
Judah scoffed then, “You heard wrong.”
Before Damian could press further, his phone buzzed. Excusing himself, he checked the message. It was a short and precise one from his father. TONIGHT. 8. 00. DON’T KEEP ME WAITING. With a derisive stutter, he tucked back the phone in his pocket.
“What’s that?”
“My dad.” he told the men. It was about time anyway. “I’ve gotta run.” And with that, he left the hell hole.
