Chapter 45

Olivia had now sung the last note and she ended it with her guitar. Bowing her head, she was shocked when the people from the crowd all sat quietly. It was weird, and no one had guessed that to be the way it is. She was a little disappointed that maybe they had not liked her performance, well, she lied, it was an outright lie that exploded with people screaming from left to right, shouting for joy. This is really amazing, she loves the way they all yelled out in excitement, it is a clear proof that their satisfaction had been met and she quietly did a good job.

Rushing towards Ashton, Olivia hugged him pleasantly as she burst out crying. This was at the center of the stage since Ashton had walked out of his hiding place. He couldn't stay there and enjoy the pleasures of his heart suffering through this alone. It was so beautiful, the best thing that has ever happened to her, like seriously, the performance was just so 'Wow!' it was breathtaking, and he didn't want to take these emotions too personal like it would traumatize him to the core, but then, he doesn't mind at all.

He tried his best not to place his mind around all this and the most important thing right now is to comfort the lady that is in his arms, it made him feel so good, that is just so magical, and the excitement from it was doing him so much good that he admires it so brightly.

Olivia's mind was out of place, even when she was performing for millions of people, she has never cried like the way she is doing right now. It just makes her feel kind of sad, but then, that's it, there isn't much she can even do about it, the only thing she truly wants is to leave this place because her mind is a mess right now. She truly doesn't want these things to consume her that much.

The population of Lendamor were very generous, even though they took several videos and pictures while the pop singer was performing, they had approved of it, and the least way they could share their gratitude is by spreading money on stage. Quickly a clean basket was brought and everyone chipped in money for the artist. That was a cool, but truth be told, it didn't mean anything to Olivia, the one thing that was in his mind was just to have a soothing bath and sleep, at least, she owes herself that a lot, more than anything that was necessary. Today is a good day but then, she has several things going on in her mind, she is so damn tired as well, but then, what more can she do about it, she wondered faintly.

Ashton slide his hands around Olivia's small waist as he gently held her fragile waist, if felt soft in his arms, more like she was so fleshy that her bones were now hiding. He didn't mind of course, because his priority right now is to comfort her and tell her sweet words that will warm her heart up.

"Come on, Sweetie pie, you better stop crying, Olivia, you've had a big crowd staring at you," Ashton said in a warning tone.

Olivia didn't react, instead, she dipped her face more farther in the man's shirt as he sniffed his cologne. It smelled so nice especially with the perfume he had used, Olivia did not know what brand of perfume he had used, but it must be popular and original as it smelled so beautiful. He loves it more than anything on earth, the excitement was clearly getting the best from her, that was beautiful, and she loves it so much, and couldn't do much about it.

Gentle lifting her head up, the young lady glared at the man's beautiful pair of emerald eyes. She could barely do anything to stop herself from gazing at his amazing eyes, the look on his face as well as a pleasurable one, it was bright, he blinked severally, that was so damn beautiful, and she couldn't help but smile at the man that held her like she was his everything.

"The only thing I desire right now is to leave this place," Olivia spat out as she wrinkled her nostrils.

A wry laugh escalated from Ashton's mouth as she tried her best not to laugh so much because it would not make much sense. He didn't even want to think too much it would not be a good one right now.

"Your wish is my command, Olivia, let's get going right now," Ashton murmured in his hoarse voice as he gently grabbed the soft cheeks, wiping off the tears that had now settled there. He definitely didn't want such a thing to happen to him because it will not make a lot of sense right now, it wouldn't even do him much good at all. The look on his face was light, he wanted Olivia to be happy that is really worth making her happy. Heaving a sigh, he pushed his hand down as he gently grabbed the lady's own ready to walk away with her.

Olivia felt the heat flush her face, she has never been so emotional like the way she is right now, it made her want to at laughing herself for being so softhearted and over emotional, but that is her nature and she can not do anything to change it at all, especially as her mind wants to falter for a second.

"Is there anything you need?" the young man asked in his gentle voice as he squeezed Olivia's hand so gently that he felt how her soft bones cracked smoothly, glad that they are being stressed out.

Olivia stole a quick peek at the man beside her, and instantly, little butterflies flushed in her stomach. This was a new thing and she kind of hated it as well because it only meant one thing,

'That Ashton Hendrix Taylor made little butterflies fly in her stomach,' she thought mentally as she laughed out loud.

"I need peace and tranquility, I just want to run away from the crazy crowd and avoid the prying eyes and touch from fans that want to spend time with me. Hell no! please, Ashton, let's not waste any time, we should hurriedly leave this place, okay?" Olivia asked as she now stared at him with wide eyes. This is the only thing that she needs right now, and she knows about it.

Ashton nodded his head in comprehension, that wouldn't quite be a hard thing to do, not at all. Right now, the most vital thing is to get out of here and with immediate effect.

They left the stage but before they could leave the place entirely, they were intercepted by the man who was in charge of organizing the party.
