Chapter 39

At once, the lady took to her heels as ran away. It was funny and it made Ashton follow her with the aim of catching her. It was kind of funny but then, Olivia couldn't run fast so Ashton caught her around her waist lifting her up immediately from the ground.

"Oh my Gosh! let go of me, Ashton, you deserve it," the young lady spat out.

It was a weird way of saying this thing, but what more is left out of a man that wants to discuss about this.

"Ahh! I can't let you go right now, especially not after what you just did. Jeez! to think that someone might have heard you say that and just conclude that we are in a relationship. The nerves of it, not to consider the fact that we are in a public space," Ashton spat out as he released his grasp from Olivia's midsection, setting her free.

It was alright to do that, and at the same time funny because Olivia laughed for a moment and two but when she figured out that the man didn't laugh because he didn't find it funny, his eyes were now glued on the man's own as she tried her best to apologize.

Lifting her head slightly up, Olivia glanced at the man with bright eyes, it was kind of humiliating, but she had made up her mind and was going to do as it told her. Blowing out the air that was in her mouth, she decided to apologize to Ashton because that is the only thing that is worth it right now.

"I am sorry, Ashton, if that prank was not good enough for you, just that you zoomed out on me so I thought I will play a small prank on you. My bad, I should never have done that," she muttered out.

That is weird, and the manner in which the words left her mouth, that was kind of crazy because her face fell in front of her. This is just being silly of her, and truly, maybe she had just gone an extra mile this time, which is something she wouldn't have done, but what does she even know about such things, she wondered faintly.

Ashton was feeling so bad that she has made Olivia feel this much, it made her want to go crazy, there isn't much of a thing he could do right now. His eyes were now glued on the lady that was in front of her. It made his heart melt the moment he spotted the lady swirling around her. That was awkward, and his heart melted almost immediately.

Catching the lady's arm, Ashton twirled the lady around as he caught her around the waist causing her to stand.

"You aren't going anywhere, Olivia, you are stocked with me for three days, including tonight. By the way, I am not mad at you, and this prank war will not end just yet, till I win, I repeat, till I win this prank war, I might not let you go just yet," Ashton murmured.

It was a sweet manner of saying things, and Olivia wasn't the least shaken by this little pleasantly of his, instead, it made her want to reach extra miles to keep the fire burning. She knew that it was awkward and that might not even happen, but then, the man in front of her was planning against her and she wouldn't let him go just yet.

"Ashton, I've heard you but don't get tired okay? because this battle wouldn't end just now, it will just be a little awkward if you surrender right now, believe me, it might just be awkward, but I don't really think that you might succeed in scaring me again, you know? and that is because from onwards, I will make sure to always be on my guard. That is so important," Olivia spat out.

This is crazy, in fact, the young man kept glaring at Olivia as if he had not heard what Olivia had just said, but then, does it really matter? he wondered faintly.

That wasn't really funny, in fact, the manner in which he set his eyes on the lady's own, he felt a little warm chill her up. That was weird, in fact, so awkward that she couldn't even figure out what is going on right now.

"Is there anything on our list that we need to do right now?" Olivia asked raising his brows.

Her eyes were on Ashton's smooth and handsome face and for no reason, she had the urge to touch it, but common sense wouldn't let her do so, at least, staying away from trouble is very essential unless she doesn't know about it yet.

Ashton creased his brows as if thinking, not nothing came to his mind, so he decided to propose something very neutral to her. At least, that is what is left of him right now if there wasn't anything to do right now.

"Ehmm! I don't really know, what about we walk for a while, maybe something interesting might pop up from somewhere and we might want to enjoy it. How about that?" Ashton asked.

He gave a small wry smile, that was amazing and his brain crossed from ear to ear. Ashton had a beautiful pair of dentitions, all straight and white. His sharp and pointed nose stood in front of his face as he smiled a little better causing them to flare. It was a sincere manner of being comfortable, it was cool, but then, what more can he do about it, he thought about it in a weird way.

"That's not a bad idea, let's start going then," the young lady muttered out.

Olivia entwined her hands into the young man's own and she heard a gasp escape his mouth. It made Olivia laugh because she had not expected the man to give out such a reaction, but then, what more is left of it, she thought as her head troubled her for a short moment.

Ashton didn't actually find the whole deal funny but he felt like there was a little electrifying effect that was just going to blow his entire mind away. Ashton's eyes were fixed on the lady's own, that was something that is awkward, he loved the manner in which Olivia had swirled her hands in his, that was so beautiful.

"Any problems?" she inquired raising her brows as she stared at Ashton in bewilderment.

"Of course not, I have no problems at all, we can start going then," the lady muttered out.

This is so cool and he was now ready to hold the lady very tight. That is just something Ashton had loved for ages.

Ashton walked alongside the young lady, it was a beautiful experience, and nothing was so pleasurable that the feeling of walking close to one another. The heat that radiated through them couldn't help him right now.

"What is that?" Ashton asked as he halted.

Immediately, the young lady had a confused look on her face, it is one that she has not imagined just yet. Her mind was just mind blowing, it is something that she wanted Ashton to explain to her. Of course, he was going to do so.

"What was what?" Olivia inquired raising her brows.

"I mean the music, where is it playing from?" he inquired in a weird manner. There wasn't much to think about it, and the more he had his eyes perched on Olivia's own, she spat out the words that were needed.

"Let's go check it out," Olivia proposed and at once, Ashton answered with a nod on the head as if he had been expecting that the whole day.

it is true that it will be a pleasurable instance to watch people sing, but that was not the purpose why he was going there right now, the truth is that he wants it to be Olivia who is singing. Well, one thing for sure is that Olivia is a musician, and as well will like to check it out no matter what the course might be.

"Fine, let us go," Olivia murmured as she walked with the man to check it out.

The more they advanced the place where the music was being played, became stronger and the sounds were now loud.

It was a free open space where hundreds of people from all around Lendamor had settled listening to the musician on stage singing.

It was a young man and he was singing a slow song that was heart-wrenching. It had beautiful notes, and a band of musicians stayed at the back helping him with the sounds.

Since there were no chairs, Olivia and Ashton were forced to stand at the back but then, it didn't help them from enjoying themselves. That was just so weird, in fact, thinking about these slow and sweet feelings caused Olivia to attach herself towards Ashton's body and as if that is not enough, she hugged his midsection in a sweet and romantic motion. That was beautiful, in fact, a scene that could course anyone just melt out. The effect is one that no one has ever thought, truth be told, Ashton loved the closeness, and raising his hand, he hugged Olivia's shoulder as he made sure to bring her close to himself, that is super important

and even though it was just something normal and sincere, it didn't quite mean a lot of things then, but the effects were one to kill, especially with the sweet fact lady in front of him.

The music in front of them was melodious, they all love what is going on and that is awesome, she kind of likes what he is seeing it makes him want to do some crazy things tonight.
