Chapter 27
"I can be your guide, I promise you that, what about that?" Ashton called out as he raised his brows up.
The look on his face was a sincere one, Olivia enjoyed the look he had on, it was awesome, funny, and more to that, the manner in which she glared at him, there is no way on earth she could deny such an offer, absolutely no way at all. Heaving a gentle sigh, the young lady did not have a way to decline such a generous odder, in fact, he turned out to see Ashton as her small tour guide, and the fact that she's actually pretty was one thing that made her cringe out of excitement, it was awesome, amusing, and most of all, the best choice that can ever happen to her, and she knows about it as well.
"Sure, I will be more than glad if you can show me around, I promise to make the most of the time, and I hope it is time consuming as well. Now, if you do not mind, let us start going," Olivia muttered out.
The way her voice sounded was very awkward, but then, what more can she do? she loves the way the man responded too, and as he led the way, he opened the passenger side for Olivia, and she gladly entered, putting on her seatbelt. That was incredible, and as she watched at Ashton, she was glad to see him enter the car, sitting comfortably behind the steering, and glaring at the road.
It was about twenty minutes when Ashton parked out in front of a parking space he had carefully secured for himself. It was cool and as he opened the door for Olivia to come out, he made sure he secured the car before leaving.
The activities at the fair were already going on and seeing it, Olivia's eyes sparkled with hope. The smell of barbecue, people playing from left to right, everyone have the fu. of their lives, it was amusing, and to Olivia, it seemed to be a dream comes true, and she knows about it.
Swirling around to face Ashton, Olivia giggled naughtily as if she was a little girl of ten, this was purely out of excitement and she knows about it there is no doubt about it. The lady had taken her little purse, and as she crossed it through the upper arm, it was nice, and it suited her so much. It was a pink color bag and had a gold chain as its stripes. With the manner in which she was dressed, it accentuated, and in case she did not know, everything looked perfect, and she knows about it.
"Oh my God! Ashton, I've not even entered, and I think I love this already, thank you so much for bringing me here," Olivia confessed as he hugged Ashton, swirling her hands around his neck.
Although it was her first night, Ashton had already brought her to a traditional place like this, she does not only like it but then, she loves it, more than the actual word itself, and just thinking about it makes her so happy. She truly was happy, it makes her think as if she was still a kid, and such feelings are just innate, and no matter hold old one is, it could never change.
Ashton used this as an opportunity to sniff the lady's hair especially as he was so close to her, he loved the shampoo she had used on her hair, it was attractive and worth sniffing some more.
As he grabbed Olivia's tiny waist in his hands, they seemed to fit so perfectly, he enjoyed it, thus, causing him to lock his arms around him even more. Catching his breath, he decided to let the lady know about his situation, at least, over the fact that he confirms her claims.
"I am glad you let me bring you here, and I pray the interior of the fair can make you more excited than just the outside," Ashton said coolly.
Staring at him through bright eyes, Olivia said to the man in her sweet yet impatient tongue.
"Alright, that is enough now, if you do not mind, can we go now?" the lady asked as she flashed the man one of her rarest smiles. It was a gem, Ashton loved that and he was immediately drowned into it, making him allow the impatient Olivia to drag him away.
In front of the main entrance, Ashton stopped where a security officer stood selling tickets. It was the pass they needed for the night, and although the different activities in there had their different price tags, from the outside, they had to buy a ticket, which will serve as an entrance fee.
It was Ashton that paid for it and collected the tickets. Seeing this, Olivia's eyes glistened with happiness, more than that, there was a sign of hope in it too, it was beautiful, and she quickly took the tickets from Ashton, putting them in her bag to secure it.
At once, the door was opened and they entered it immediately, and the view was awesome, more than the way they had expected it. It had been a while Ashton had come here, truth be told, he rarely even comes to places like this, but then, he knows himself around here to the core because if he takes out time to come here, then it might be because he accompanied a colleague with his children for fun, if not, such places aren't really for him, although he can act so childish when the need is there, he can't just hide it for anything.
Tonight, Ashton had made a little promise to himself the moment he paid for the two tickets and that is to keep Olivia company, he wanted her to enjoy herself as much as possible, and if that will bring him a step closer to his heart, he will pretty much love it, and thus, it will be of the best interest to him.
