Chapter 87 Endangering
“This isn't about Ana!! It’s about me doing something I should have done a long time ago!!
“I do not know how I allowed myself to be deceived by a crazy woman like you!!”
Tears rolled down Silvia’s eyes and her body shivered.
“Now get out!! And make sure you do not come back to the company and do that rubbish you just did at my meeting if not the next time you try it I will skin you alive!” Fernando warned her.
“I will not allow you to get rid of me easily Fernando, mark my words” Silvia threatened before storming out of the office.
Fernando breathed in and out to calm his nerves.
“He stepped out of his office and met Eric outside. Inform all the security personnel of this building including my bodyguards never to allow her into this premises again” Fernando ordered.
“I will do that right away. Meanwhile the investors are still waiting” Eric informed him.
Fernando nodded and went back to the meeting and properly apologized to the investors and explained to them that Silvia was still mourning her parents loss which was why she was not in her right state of mind earlier.
Even if that was not the truth, he had to say something to excuse her behaviour.
They understood and the meeting resumed.
At the E&A Tech
Ana has not been able to concentrate on her work as she has been busy thinking of yesterday's brunch she had with Fernando and their daughter, especially what he had said about him not being in a relationship with Silvia anymore.
Did he find out that her pregnancy was fake and ended the relationship? She thought to herself.
She felt at ease that Silvia will not be in her daughter's life and Fernando will not be getting married to her.
But now she wondered what Silvia would do when she found out that she was alive and her child had also survived. Which will come as a great shock to her.
If Fernando announced that their relationship had ended to the public this will surely make Silvia go mad. Who knows what Silvia will do afterwards.
“Why are you so engrossed in your thoughts? Emiliano asked.
“Oh, Emiliano, you are here?” Ana said.
“You did not even notice when I knocked and walked in?”
“I’m sorry”
“What are you thinking?”
“Nothing really, just about yesterday when Fernando came to Thea’s school and…”
“He came to her school?” Emiliano interrupted her.
“Yes he did”
“Didn’t he understand how important it is for him to give the child time to be ready to see him?’
Ana sighed “That’s what I said too but I think he was so excited to get to know his daughter and he had taken her out for brunch and I had to tag along” Ana said.
“You were there during the brunch?” Emiliano had not expected her to do that.
“Yes I had no other choice since Thea is not yet comfortable around him so I had to be there”
Emiliano nodded in understanding “So what made you lost in thought?”
Ana looked at him as he waited for her response “It’s just about what he had said yesterday”
“What did he say?”
“He said he had long ended his relationship with Silvia”
Emiliano's face changed a bit. “He said that?”
“that Silvia is no longer his fiancee and that he will soon announce it to the public”
“Why did it not announce it ever since? Did he tell you why?”
“I don’t really know,” Ana said.
I don’t know but I feel he is lying. What if he is still interested in you Ana and is just saying this so you can give him a chance?” Emiliano said what was in his mind.
Ana was speechless
Emiliano clenched his fist when she kept silent “Are you by any chance planning to do so Ana?”
Ana looked at him “I’m more concerned about what Silvia will do by the time he announces to the public that their relationship had long ended and he tells her I'm alive. I have been so scared about my child and family being in danger but what if she knows it is the best chance I have to seek justice for my father's death? What if me getting close to Fernando will get her jealous enough and go crazy that she will try to come after my family and I will catch her in the act and send her to jail for attempted murder?” Ana said.
Emiliano was stunned by her analysis “Ana are you crazy, are you out of your mind. How do you think getting close to Fernando thus endangering your daughter's life and that of your sister and mother is the right thing!? Emiliano could not understand what was happening to her senses of reasoning.
“I know it sounds crazy. But we will have people watching their every move and I'll find a way to spy on her phone and other devices to know who she contacts. We just need something that will lure her into committing a crime”
Emiliano did not want to believe that the person speaking was Ana “Stop it Ana, are you crazy. Don’t even think about doing that!” Emiliano said.
Ana was silent
“Endangering everyone else isn't the way,” he reminded her.
“You have to think about what you are planning to do deeply,” he says before walking out of her office.
Ana stood up from her chair and went to the balcony . Her eyes moved around the beautiful busy city with skyscrapers.
Emiliano had returned back to his office and banged his hand on his table in anger. This was one of his fears, he had feared that Fernando knowing she was Ana would bring them close again.
He never wanted that to happen. Fernando getting close to his child is okay because it is his child. But their child can make them close, which is something he never wants to happen.
He has spent years loving Ana, he deserves to be the only man in her life.
Both of them did not speak to each other the rest of the day.
After Ana finished her work in the office, she headed to the garage where the car was packed when Silvia suddenly blocked her way.
Ana knew she would show up in front of her but did not know it would be this soon.
Her bodyguards tried to stop Silvia from coming closer to her.
“What’s the meaning of this Silvia?” Ana questioned.
