Chapter 57 Engraved
When his grandson called him, he was shocked because over his dead body Emiliano would have called him.
But finding out it was because of a woman made him know that his grandson was in love with the woman. And his love for her had made him do something that he swore not to do even on his grave.
Emiliano had sworn never to contact any member of his family but he did it because of that woman. A woman that might not even love him.
Emiliano knelt down on the ground with his head down “Grandfather all I ask you is five years and I promise to be back. I promise to follow your instructions and do all you want after the five years is over. Please just allow me go for now”
“Five years you say?”
“Yes grandfather”
“Fine then”
“Thank you grandfather” he bowed severally in appreciation.
“But let me tell you that you are being stupid. You can leave.” Seun said.
Emiliano stood up and bowed his head before walking out of there.
When he left the right hand man of Seun speak “Old master, why did you hold back from telling them who the mastermind was”
Sean shaked his head “It turns out it’s the fiancee of Fernando Buenavista. It’s his wife to be. Fernando is someone not to be messed with. If he finds out we had a hand in his fiancee being arrested he will come after us”
“We can just give the information without them knowing it's us” the right hand man said.
“They will. If that woman is desperate to find out who she is. One day she will find out, that way we will not get involved”
His right hand man nodded
“I hope my grandson knows what he's doing. Protecting that woman is dangerous” he sighed.
The blanco's are very wealthy. But they are not up to the Buenavista level or have the kind of influence Fernando has. The only connection the Blanco's have that Fernando doesn't have is military connection because they have a family member in the military from his late wife's family.
The last thing his family needs is to mess with Fernando Buenavista by coming after a member of his household since Silvia was his soon to be wife and the whole world knows that.
Fernando had continued on his search for Ana's mother and sister since they have not been reported dead.
This time around he widened his search and a report came that they were admitted in a hospital in the rural area.
By the time he arrived there, the doctors informed him that they were already discharged yesterday.
“Who was their guardian and who filed for their discharge? Fernando questioned the hospital directors
“It was one Mr Rodrigo” the doctor incharge said.
Fernando clenched his fist when he heard that name “He has been lying about not knowing where they were. When he was the one who brought them here.
“Do you know where he took them?” Fernando questions.
“The only thing I knew was that he was transferring them to a hospital in the city which he didn’t mention. I had advised him to do so since they ended their treatment here and we can't offer some of the further treatments they need”
Fernando nodded, he turned to walk away but stopped. He turned around and looked at the doctor.
He wanted to ask if Ana was here but he would sound crazy because he saw Ana’s body and confirmed she was dead before he buried her himself. There is no way a dead person would have come here. But he could not understand this strange feeling he had, maybe because he could not yet come with the terms that she was dead and will never come back.
Fernando clenched his fist
“Is there anything else Mr Buenavista?” the director who was afraid asked.
They know why this powerful man can do, so they had to be careful
“Nothing, I will leave now” he turned around and left with his bodyguards
The hospital director and doctor in charge of Ana’s case sighed in relief. Before Ana and Emiliano left with her mother and sister, they had begged them that in case anyone came to ask about the patients they should not reveal that Ana was admitted here too.
But what they did not expect was that he would find the hospital so fast.
Emiliano ended the call after he finished talking to the doctor “The doctors said Fernando just left”
“I did not think he will find the hospital so fast” Ana said
“That is how powerful he is, I was able to prevent him from finding it for weeks but I knew sooner or later he would. The doctor said he told him he transferred your family to a hospital in the city like we had told him to. So while he would be busy searching for the hospital we would have boarded the plane and been on our way to another country.
Ana sighed in relief. She looked at the flight display on the screen. They were in the airport and Will boarded the plane in minutes.
Fernando might end up discovering that Emiliano left the country when he investigates him. But he will not be able to find out about her family travel information because they had changed their surname. The reason he was able to get to the hospital was because the patient details of her mother and sister were still in their formal surname.
But now they were traveling with their new surname.
Ana looked at her mother and her sister who were wearing clothes that covered their whole body with a hat and face to hide their burns.
Since they became conscious her mother had not said a word. She has been holding her fathers ashes urn tightly to her chest and had refused to allow anyone else touch it.
Her sister had cried nonstop, especially when she saw her burnt face.
Ana tears fell, and her heart hurts badly. She placed her hand on her tummy because the only thing giving her a bit of happiness was her unborn child.
Time went by and it was time for them to board the plane.
Ana helped her mom get up, she was burnt on the leg so walking was a bit difficult for her.
Her mother still held the ashes tightly.
Nala walked on her own while Emiliano helped roll their luggages. They did not carry much since they will buy things when they get to country A.
Before they entered the terminal. Ana turned and looked around the airport. Tears rolled down her eyes.
“I will be back, but I’m returning with a brand new Ana. Whoever caused my family pain, Silvia or whoever. Wait for me because I will make you pay” Ana turned and walked away.
