“None. Didn’t you say that if Dad makes a move at me after seeing my real face then I got myself to blame when he makes a move on me and that you won’t interfere?” she asked causing Gustavo to groan as he stared at her.
“You! You are playing with fire,” he said as he gritted his teeth.
“Mom said that you should always take care of me. She didn’t say you take care of me till we get out of here thus don’t think that you will be able to get rid of me when we get out of here. I will always be at your side,” Yadira said as she stared at Gustavo’s eyes and her hands were on his chest.
“You know that that is impossible. Our life would be so normal at that time that you can try to find love and get married. I will also get married,” he said causing Yadira to shake her head.
“No! Mom said that we belonged to each other. We are a family. She also said that you should take care of me throughout but you don’t entirely take care of me,” Yadira said making Gustavo confused and he looked at her with confusion in his eyes.
“I have always taken care of you and you know that. I don’t understand what you are trying to say or do,” Gustavo said coldly as he took her hands got them off his chest, and left without looking back no matter how much he heard her cries.
Although hearing her cries was like he had been pierced in his heart, he knew that there were some things that he could never do or say. He could just give her space and let her realize it for herself. How could he not know what she was talking about when she had hinted at it countless times recently?
“Oh, and I don’t want to see you with that friend of yours,” he shouted before he entered his room.
Yadira laughed when she heard his words and then said, “Why? Now I can’t make friends? I learned so much by staying with her.”
“Yeah, she has corrupted your mind and body and there is no way I will stay here and watch you being led astray,” he replied before shutting his bedroom door as he vowed he would kill that woman who was ruining her sister’s innocence although he understood that she needed to know such things so as no one can take advantage of her in future.
Yadira’s father had been getting anxious as he felt that things weren’t going his way and he was afraid that if he didn’t do anything, he might lose his organization. He didn’t know why, but he had a strong feeling that there was someone who was plotting against him.
He mostly thought that it was Celestine’s daughter but he understood that she was long dead. The royals knew that they didn’t know the truth that he had their prince with him. Lastly, he concluded that the other person who hated him so much was Gustavo and firmly believed that he was the one plotting against him.
“You two dare plot against me? I will make you learn your lesson and also separate the two of you by force,” he said coldly as he stared out of the window where he could see the kid's house.
To him, if Gustavo was rebelling then there was a higher chance that his daughter too was rebelling which made him so mad as he wondered who Yara thought he was.
“Go get the two of them here for me,” he instructed the head guard who bowed down and then left without asking who he meant as he understood who he was talking about.
After ten minutes, Yadira and Gustavo walked in.
“Gabin, Yara,” he called them and they lowered their heads.
“yes father,” they replied.
After Gustavo was taken out of prison because of Yadira, the man had instructed him to call him father as he was their father since he didn’t mean being called father by the child of the woman he loved dearly.
“You two think that I don’t know what you are up to. Yeah, I might not know what you are up to deeply but I can see signs of your rebellion,” he said and their faces turned white.
“However, that isn’t what I called you here for today,” he said after seeing how pale their faces had become after his words and knew that what he was thinking was the truth, they were up to something.
“Yara will be getting married to my friend’s son, a marriage union. The marriage will help our organization so much and it will be stronger than it currently is.”
