Bonus – The Billionaire’s Friends – Tiff and Samuel – Four
Samuel’s POV

I knew exactly who was texting me. Did she really think that she was that forgettable?

Tiff: Um...Tiff from the party. You stuck your tongue in my mouth?

Samuel: I’m kidding. I know who you are, Tiff.

Tiff: Oh, lol.

Samuel: How could I forget you? You’re imprinted on my mind and soul.

Tiff: Really?

Samuel: Yes

Tiff: I couldn’t stop thinking about you last night.

Samuel: I drank to try and forget about you. It didn’t work.

Tiff: Why did you want to forget me?

Samuel: Because I thought I had lost you.

Tiff: Well, I’m still here.

Samuel: Where exactly is here?

Tiff: In my bed. Well, technically not my bed because I’m a little bit homeless right now.

Samuel: Homeless?

Tiff: Ex-boyfriend moved to Sweden. I couldn’t afford the apartment on my own.

Samuel: Oh, the absolute moronic ex-boyfriend. Anyone who would leave you has to have their head examined.

Tiff: Stop, you’re making me blush.

Samuel: I bet it looks beautiful on your pale skin.

Tiff: If you keep talking like that, I’m going to be the color of a beet.

Samuel: pics or didn’t happen.

Next thing I know, she sent me a selfie. She’s lying in clouds of pillows. Her gorgeous mane of red hair fanned out like a brilliant sunset around her. Fuck me. I want to wrap that hair around my fist and have her gaze up into my eyes. She’s wearing a tank top, exactly what I pictured she’d wear to bed. I know she’s not the kind of girl who wears lingerie. Tiff probably picked soccer and karate over ballet when she was little. She strikes me as a bit of a tomboy. I like the athletic ones. They tend to be bendy. I chuckled to myself.

Tiff: Hello?

Samuel: Oh, sorry. I was just admiring your picture.

Tiff: Where are you right now?

Samuel: In bed, too.

Tiff: Do I get a pic, too?

I hold up my camera, take a picture, and send it to her quickly.

Tiff: How is it possible you look even more handsome after sleeping? Normally, I’m a hot mess in the morning.

Samuel: I highly doubt that.

Tiff: So, what are you doing today? Oh, just a minute… Amelie is texting me.

I sat staring at my phone, waiting for her to text again. Why am I so obsessed with her?

Tiff: I got to go. Amelie needs to talk.

Samuel: :(

Tiff: Don’t be sad. I’ll talk to you later, ok?

Samuel: Promise?

Tiff: Yes, I promise.

Samuel: Ok, red. Have a good afternoon.

Tiff: Red?

Samuel: Yes, do you like your new nickname?

Tiff: Actually, I do.

Samuel: Perfect. Are you staying at Nathan and Amelie’s place for long?

Tiff: Until I can find somewhere to live.

Samuel: Ok, go have fun. I’ll talk to you later.

Tiff: Bye, Samuel.

Samuel: Bye, Red.

I dropped my phone on my nightstand and flipped over to hug my pillow. My brain physically hurt from the amount of alcohol I had consumed last night. Oh well, at least that was my only side effect. Unlike most, I never got sick from drinking. I just got a wicked headache. At least I was smart enough to put a couple of pills and a glass of water beside the bed when I faceplanted into the pillow last night. I rolled over, grabbed the medicine, and took it. Then I chuckled to myself. The last thing I was expecting today was a text from Tiff. It seems I have an eager beaver on my hand, or at least I hope to soon, I mused.

Tiff’s POV

Amelie had texted that they were on their way home from the hospital. I told Amelie that I would be down in a few minutes. I needed a couple of minutes to calm down after talking to Samuel. I’ve never been with a man or talked to one who was so dominant. He said what he wanted to say unapologetically and had a way of making you want to agree with him. I'm not familiar with the whole dominant and submissive thing, but something in the way he spoke to me made me want to follow him. To… please him. Oh my God, I can’t believe I just thought that. Is he unlocking something in me?

I quickly threw on a hoodie, ran my fingers through my hair, and headed downstairs to meet Amelie. She wasn’t home yet, but Dante, Kimmy, Dutton, and Morgan were all in the living room. I swear they spend more time here than they do at home.

“Hey, Tiff,” Kimmy said, smiling. “How’s your head?”

Oh yeah, Amelie said she would tell people I had a migraine. “It’s feeling a lot better,” I expressed. “Dark room and a cold face cloth on the eyes helps.”

“Probably not having Samuel’s tongue down your throat helps, too,” Dante snickered.

“Dante!” Kimmy screeched at him and smacked him on the side of the head.

“Ow,” he said, rubbing his head.

“You deserved that one,” Kimmy laughed.

“It’s ok, Kimmy,” I laughed. “He was just kind of pointing out the truth.”

"So, what exactly is happening with you and Samuel then?” Morgan asked, smiling.

“I’m not sure, there is just something about him that is magnetic,” I explained. “It’s like Anam Cara.”

“What?” Dante asked, puzzled.

“Anam Cara is a Scottish and Irish concept that when two souls meet and they are your true soul friend, the souls combine into one,” I advised. “It’s kind of like a soul mate, but it doesn’t have to be romantic.”

“That’s so beautiful,” Morgan sighed.

“Like you’re one with the person,” Dutton said and took Morgan’s hand. Morgan smiled at him and blushed.

“Well, last night it looked like Samuel was trying to suck your soul out through your mouth,” Dante chuckled.

“Oh my God, Dante,” Kimmy chastised him.

“Maybe I was trying to suck his soul out,” I giggled.

“You go, girl!” Kimmy laughed and high-fived me.

“So, you’re allowed to say things like that, but I’m not?” Dante said, looking at Kimmy.

“Yes, dear,” she said, sitting down on Dante’s lap and kissing him.

“Ok,” he grinned. “I just wanted clarification.”

“When are you going to see him again?” Morgan asked.

“I’m not sure,” I responded, knowing full well that all I wanted to do was race back upstairs and get back on my phone.
