“Natalie, you?” Jason was stunned, but before he could say anything, Natalie walked past him like he was dust.
What shocked him was Sean’s face. And when Natalie called him so intimately, he thought that he was hearing things.
Wasn’t he the same man who had kicked him out of the Bluemoon hotel a few days ago? What the hell was he doing here, and what was his relationship with Natalie?
And how the hell did Natalie have such a big baby?
Who was that man? He was able to summon the school director to come on such short notice. Just who was he?
After Natalie and Sean left, the director looked at Principal Carl and spoke, “Principal Carl, you are fired, and your teaching license has been revoked effective immediately.”
“No,” the principal fell on his knees.
He walked to the director on his knees and held his legs, “Director Frank, please give me another chance. I… I will never repeat the same mistake. I… I know that I was wrong, and I should have done a thorough investigation, so please give me another chance and don’t fire me.”
The principal raised his hands and tightly slapped himself. Everyone was stunned, and they had nothing to say.
The director did not even bother looking at him. He kicked him away and turned his gaze to Vivian.
“Mrs. Thompson, from tomorrow, you don’t have to bring your son to school anymore. He has been expelled.”
Vivian’s expression turned pale, “Director, sir, you can’t do that. It was just a misunderstanding, and my son was just pranking that little girl. He did not mean it. I will take him to apologize to Jojo right away.”
The director waved his hand, “That won’t be necessary. You know better than anyone whether this was a prank, a misunderstanding, or whatever you might call it. I am just doing what is best for the school, and we cannot have children with zero moral values to stain our school.”
“Mr. Thompson, your son almost ruined another child’s life. I am only expelling him, but I want to; I can make sure that no good school in the city accepts him, no matter how much money you have. But for the sake of everything you have done for my school, I won’t include in his reference letter that he was expelled.”
Seeing parents who had vowed to help get justice a few moment pointing at her and mocking her, Vivian felt like dying.
Natalie was the one supposed to be mocked and bullied. How did it turn out to her instead?
Just how powerful was Sean now that even the school director had to bow to her?
He was even willing to cut off all ties with the Thompson family, and that showed that Sean was not a simple character.
Vivian felt like screaming, but she couldn’t. And she wondered who had even called Jason to school. Everything was over. Jason and Natalie had finally met, and now he might run back to her arms.

In the car, Jason was quiet. His mind was all over the place, and he had yet to understand everything that just happened.
Yes, he knew that Natalie had been back for a while now, but they met today for the first time. The moment he laid his eyes on her, his heart stirred in a way it had never done before.
He felt like he was meeting his crush for the first time; he could not even control his heartbeat.
And that girl, she was almost the same age as Jayden, maybe a little older, just by a few months. When Jason saw her hit her head on the desk, his heart skipped a beat, and it actually hurt a bit.
Natalie had vanished from his life after the divorce, and they never contacted each other again.
Could she have left while she was pregnant with his baby?
But what about that man? Had Natalie already moved on and even remarried? Did the child belong to that man?
But how was that even possible? Natalie had loved him so much since they were kids, so how could she have moved on so fast?
The more Jason thought about it, the more confused he was.
He needed answers, and the only person who could provide them was Natalie. But how was he supposed to even reach her? He did not have her current phone number, and he did not know which hospital they had gone to.

Jason finally remembered. He looked at his son and asked, “Jayden, why did you do that? Why would you accuse your classmate of stealing, knowing pretty well that you were the one who put those things in her bag? You even pushed her. Do you know that she might have died?”
Jayden could not say anything, and the only thing he could do was cry.
He hugged his father and cried out, “Daddy, I am so sorry. I know that I was wrong, please forgive me.”
Jason looked at his son, and he could not bring himself to reprimand him. Although he felt like something did not add up, he had to wait until his son calmed down before he properly questioned him.
Afraid that Jayden might rant her out, Vivian reached out and hugged him. She stared at Jason and spoke, “Babe, Jayden is really traumatized by everything that happened. Can you stop interrogating him like he is some kind of criminal? Everything was just a huge misunderstanding, and he was just messing around with his classmate.”

“Jayden, why did you not frame your classmate? Why did you put your drawing book and your paints in her bag, and then accuse her of stealing?”
