Chapter 22
Natalie wasn’t used to such vigorous exercise, and they say that sex is the best remedy for relieving stress. She fell asleep soon after. Sean gently wiped her body with a warm towel and helped her put on a set of comfortable pajamas.
He gently placed her on the sofa in the room and returned her to bed only after changing the bed sheets.
He looked at her beautiful sleeping face and left a light kiss on her forehead.
His eyes were filled with gentle light, and he felt like he could not love her enough.
He bent over and whispered, “Natalie, I will never let you regret choosing me. I will love you with everything I've got. If my mom were still here, she would have definitely loved you like her own daughter.”
Sean took a shower and only remembered he did not have a change of clothes after leaving the bathroom.
How was he supposed to move around the house draped in a towel? It would have been okay if they were the only ones in the house; he would have even walked around in his birth suit. But Jojo was here, and as much as she was a baby, he had to respect her.
After thinking for a while, Sean decided to call his assistant to bring him some clothes.
As he waited, he remembered that Natalie had some baggy t-shirts she liked to put on while in the house. Maybe he could just find one and make it do for the time being.
He opened the wardrobe, and to his surprise, he found his favorite pajamas there. They were his favorite because Natalie had gifted him on his birthday. He had left them at her place, and every time he slept over, he would use them.
A gentle smile tagged at the corner of his lips as he took the pajamas and put them on. Every time he wore them in the past, he would feel as if Natalie was hugging him, and that would make his heart dance with joy.
Sean put on the pajamas and left the bedroom. Natalie was not in a good mood when she came back from the cemetery, so she had not eaten much during lunch. He was planning on making her something delicious that would help restore her spirit.
He went to the kitchen and realized that Natalie had bought almost everything, so there was no need for him to go out and buy ingredients.
He was about to start washing the vegetables when he felt a small tug on his leg. Sean looked down and realized that it was Jojo.
His face broke into a happy smile as he picked her small body and hugged her in his arms. He kissed her chubby cheeks as he asked, “Baby, you are up already? When did you come here?”
Jojo looked at her father and smiled happily, “I came in just now.” She looked around and pretended to ask, “Where is mummy? I can’t find her anywhere.”
Sean did not suspect anything as he answered, “Your mom is sleeping in her room. She is a bit exhausted, so I let her rest.”
“Oh.”
Sean looked around and asked, “Are you hungry? I don’t know if your mom bought any snacks.”
“I am okay. I ate a lot during lunch, and my stomach is still full.”
Sean laughed, “You cheeky brat. You are little, so of course you have to eat more. You need to grow up fast, okay?”
“Yes, Daddy, but I don’t feel like eating snacks right now.”
She looked at the vegetables in the sink and asked, “Do you want to make dinner?”
“Yeah. You are so smart, my princess.”
Jojo smirked. She looked at her father and requested, “Can I help, Daddy? I had a lot of fun yesterday.”
“Sure.”
When Natalie opened her eyes, the room was slightly dark. She felt around the bed, but not finding what she was looking for, she sat up and switched on the lights using the remote.
Natalie’s eye wandered around the room, but seeing no sight of the man, she thought that everything that had happened earlier was nothing but a dream.
She looked down and realized that her clothes had been changed, and even her body seemed to have been cleaned up.
‘It must be Sean who had done it. But where is he? Wasn’t he supposed to be hugging me?’
Natalie lazed out a bit before she got off the bed. She felt slight pain between her legs, but that was expected given how crazy they had been earlier.
Natalie went to the bathroom to freshen up. Looking at herself in the mirror and seeing all the hickeys on her body, she could not believe that she had sex with her best friend.
But gosh, it felt so good, especially when he did it with his tongue.
Just the thought of it made Natalie’s body turn hot, and her face blushed a deep pink.
Sean really knew how to make her feel like she was the only woman in the world. Although it was their first time, Natalie felt as if Sean understood her body more than she did.
She thought that it would be difficult to open up to someone after what happened in the past, but with Sean, she realized that things just flowed. She did not feel any hesitation in her heart; in fact, her heart was filled with excitement.
Well, she couldn’t wait to see what this new adventure would bring.
When Natalie finally emerged, Sean was almost done preparing dinner. Just a single glance and he could tell that Natalie was in a good mood.
He looked at her and smiled, “How are you feeling? Did you get enough rest?”
Natalie stretched out her hands, her face revealing a mysterious smile, “How could I not?”
Jojo had left the kitchen, so they were the only ones inside. Natalie had a cheeky smile as she walked towards Sean.
She stopped by his side and whispered in his ear, “I am not saying that you are dangerous, but my legs are definitely going to forget about their primary function if…”
Before she could finish her statement, Sean pulled her in his arms and grabbed her ass. His voice was dangerously low as he spoke, “Are you trying to poke a sleeping lion? The consequences might be too much for you to bear.”
Natalie smiled as she drew circles on Sean’s chest. Her voice was seductive as she whispered, “Are you sure? Show me.”
Her hand went down and grabbed Sean’s member that was already in the alert mode.
Sean gave out a low groan, wanting nothing but to swallow Natalie whole.
He controlled his breathing and spoke in her ear, “How about I show you after dinner? I don’t want to starve our daughter!”
