CHAPTER 94

NOAH'S POV

The next morning I woke up to Rebecca's texts and incessant calls at 4 in the morning, that's when I knew that she really is crazy, and I shouldn't waste my time on her. I couldn't sleep back, so I decided to go to the gym and work out till I'm ready to leave for the office.

I was in the gym working out when Tyler joined in the gym.

“You're up early, Noah, tell me anything wrong?” Tyler asked me.

“No, not really I just woke before my alarm did, yes because of Rebecca, she's blowing up my phone.” I told him.

“Block her number Bro, no big deal.” Tyler answered me.

“She'll find another way to contact me, it's fucking pointless, she's crazy Bro.” I said to him,

“Yes, she's crazy about you, but if you need me I'm right here brother.” he said as he started with the treadmill.

“I know that, you're always helpful.” I said to him,

Kim came in with her work out gear looking beautiful and all smiles.

“You should be in bed, it's quite early.” I told her.

“Yeah, you should be sleeping, while the baby is resting.” Tyler said while looking at her stomach, smiling.

“I'm okay, I wanted to workout here because it helps me with my morning sickness.” Kim told us.

“That's okay, just be careful not to overwork yourself.” I said to her,

“I'll be careful boys, let's get into it shall we.” she said and started.

We worked out a bit, before my phone rang and picked it up, it was Jimmy.

“Boss, I know that you're awake.” Jimmy said immediately I picked up.

I cleaned my sweat with a towel, “I'm up smartypants, what's up?” I asked him.

“Matteo is on board and he is willing to take the job again.” Jimmy announced it to me.

“That's good, I'll just tell Anna and we go from there.” I replied to him.

“We'll see at the office, right?” Jimmy asked me.

“Yes, genius we'll.” I said and the call ended with me smiling.

I went up to my bedroom, and showered and I wore the outfit my stylist picked out for me. It's been simple since I had one picking outfits for me and I'm looking good. I wore my outfit and I looked at my mirror. I was looking good today. I pulled out my phone, and I saw Rebecca's texts. I ignored them and I called Anna.

“Hello,” Anna said, trying to steady her voice.

“Anna,” I said to her, my voice calm, deep and reassuring. “How're you doing?”

“I've been okay, I'm managing.” she replied to me in a breezy voice.

“Matteo, will be your bodyguard from now on, he has agreed to and I want to know that you're safe all the time.” I told her.

“Thank you, Noah. you don't know how much this means to me.” Anna said in a happy tone.

“I think I do,” I replied to her with a hint of a smile playing on my lips. “I know how important this means to you and to me as well. and I trust him with your life. He's the best. He'll be there first thing in the mornings, apart from today. and you don't need to be scared all the time.”

“Thank you, Noah, I owe you one.” she said to me in a happy tone.

“You, don't owe me anything,” I replied to her warmly. “Just take care of yourself, Anna, and I'll check in with you all the time.”

There was a pause from Anna, “Thank you, Noah, you're so nice.” she said to me happily.

“We'll be planning our next date soon, so get ready Anna.” I said to her,

“Will be available anytime, bye Noah.” she said happily holding back on something.

“Bye Anna.” I told her and hung up.

I hung up the phone with a huge smile on my face. She makes me smile a lot these days. I stopped smiling and looked around too see if anyone saw me. I had breakfast as Kim, demanded that I eat before leaving, which I did and left immediately. When got to the company, I was warmly greeted by my staff, and I entered my executive elevator and I was in my office in no time.

I started my day on a good note, I got busy with work in no time. I was signing a document when I heard a commotion outside. I went out to check it out, and it was Rebecca and Jimmy. I took her into my office and she removed my hand angrily and she slapped me across the face.

“That's what you get, for being a fucking asshole, Noah Wilder.” she shouted in my face.

I looked at her, and I clenched my fist calming myself, “Fine I deserve that, don't try that again, I'm warning you.” I told her in a warning tone.

She looked at me, her eyes blazing. “So, you visited her everyday, but you could only manage to visit me just once, huh.” she said to me angrily.

“Rebecca, it's over between us, get that into your head, I thought you're smart enough to understand that.” I said to her,

“Understand? what am I supposed to understand, huh? That I mean nothing to you, and that she means more to you than I ever did?” she asked me angrily.

I looked at her, “Rebecca you're twisting things here, I visited you, I checked on you, I asked about you. But we are done. I didn't want to pretend or give you any weird ideas.” I told her in a calm and stern voice.

“But what? you could pretend for her right? Every single day for fucking months, what does she have that I don't have? I'm prettier than her” she asked in a trembling angry tone.

I clenched my fists, harder trying to calm myself. “It's not about that, it's about moving on, you should try that sometime, I can deal with this madness, you're beginning to get on my nerves." I said in a stern voice.

Rebecca came close to me, her voice low and dangerous, “Move on? Did I hear you right? You humiliated me with that video you posted, no one wants me anymore, and you want me to move on, no I won't you start this shit and I'm gonna end it for you Noah.” she said to me.

Jimmy came in, I guess he wanted to check up on me and Rebecca.

“Rebecca, you need to calm down. this isn't helping anyone.” Jimmy said calmly to her.

Rebecca, looked at him “Stay out of this Jimmy, it doesn't concern you. it's between me and Noah.” she says snarling at him.

“Jimmy it's okay, I can handle this.'' I said to Jimmy who nodded at me.

I faced Rebecca, “Look, Rebecca, I did the right thing, you were bullying an innocent girl.” I told her.

“Right? for who, Noah? For you? Or your precious little slutty new girlfriend?”

I was losing my wits, with this whole exchange. “For everyone involved. you are getting the help that you need. I didn't want to disrupt that.”

Rebecca laughed bitterly while looking at me, “Help? You think trying to make everyone put me in a mental facility can fix me, while you go on dates with your slutty girlfriend.” she said to me.

“Stop calling her names, besides we know she's not that, stop contacting me.” I told her in anger.

“Wow, you're protecting her, hear this I won't stop tormenting or calling her names. this is not the last time you'll hear from me, I won't stop, let's all go to hell, Noah Wilder.” she said in a low and dangerous tone, and she left.

“Boss, this woman is bat shit crazy, Anna is in trouble.” Jimmy said to me.

“I have Matteo, on the job he's shadowing Anna, I'll take care of her.” I said and sat down.

I got a call from Matteo, and he told me someone tried to grab Anna, but he took care of the situation, and I told him to always watch her, which he agreed, he told me he was on his way to take her home. This pissed me off, I had one person in mind and it was Rebecca. I called Anna, and we talked even though I was angry, but I was happy that she's okay. But I knew that I had to take care of Rebecca fast, before she ruined things for me.
