CHAPTER 100

EPILOGUE

After the funeral of Alma, I stayed with Anna and I comforted her the best way that I could. And she had her friends too that helped her, during her dark times. I went to my brother Tyler, at the prison where he's held before he's been charged to court.

“What the fuck, are you doing here? I never asked you to come see me.” he said to me with so much anger and hatred.

I sat down, and I looked at him. He looked shabby and unkempt. “When did you become greedy with such words? Why did you do this to yourself?" I asked him.

Tyler laughed bitterly. “You should ask yourself that? I hate you so much brother, you took everything away from me. you made me a slave in our home.” he said to me.

“I never meant to make you feel this way but I won't forgive you for causing problems for me. killing people, why?” I asked him.

“I'd never answer you,” he looked at a guard. “I want to go back to my cell, I'm done with him.” he said and stood up.

I sat down there, with a mix of emotions, I was pained that my brother who I knew was lovely and full of life. could turn into a vicious monster that I can't recognize, I went back home, and I told Uncle Rafael about my visit to see Tyler. I can see the pain, and disgrace in his eyes.

Anna's parents took care of their newborn baby, and I continued to go out on dates with Anna. We're in a steady and healthy relationship now and I was enjoying every bit of it. Anna was still going to see the therapist, and get help too. deal with her grief just like her mother too. I really loved little Pablo, Anna's baby brother. He was such a jolly good baby.

Kim gave birth to. a baby boy, and he was so precious to look at, everyone was very happy to see him. We were all at the mansion when Detective Rodriguez came to see us, in the couple of two of his men, with a straight but professional look on his face.

“Welcome, Detective Rodriguez, are you here to celebrate with us?” Uncle asked him as he was about to sit down.

“No I'm here, on an official visit Mr Wilder, the other visit will be after work hours.” he replied. uncle Rafael.

“Did anything happen? Did Tyler confess to anything?" I asked him as Jimmy looked at Detective Rodriguez.

Detective Rodriguez took a deep breath, and sat out of his seat. “Well unfortunately, we'll never know about those cases anymore, because Mr Wilder, Noah, Tyler were found dead in his cell room earlier today.”

There was great silence in the sitting room, everyone was trying to let the information that he just gave us sink in.

“What happened, Detective? I thought he was alone in his cell room?” I asked him immediately.

Uncle Rafael sat in, in his seat and lowered his head, he raised it up as Kim, held his hands. “Detective what happened? Did he kill himself in his cell room?” Kim asked with concern etched on her face.

Detective Rodriguez, looked at me and back to Kim, “He didn't commit suicide, he was found unresponsive in his cell room, and we took him to the infirmary in the prison, he wasn't responding to any health care given to him. he was pronounced dead there.” he said to us.

“What happened to him? People don't just die in a cell just like that, and he was alone there, the guard on duty never saw anything?” Jimmy asked him.

“We've checked everything out, and we didn't find any foul play from the cctv footage the timeline of his activities yesterday and the time he was found dead.” Detective Rodriguez replied to Jimmy.

“What are we supposed to do now? I know he was a criminal but he shouldn't have died like that, he was already paying for his crimes at the prison." I replied to Detective Rodriguez.

“When can we take his body, and bury him? That's the only thing we can do right now.” uncle said in a low voice.

“There's another problem, We can't find his body after we take him to the morgue, but we're looking into it.” Detective Rodriguez told us.

“What the actual fuck, are you guys for real, he died, he was unresponsive and he fucking disappeared without a trace, and you're the police force.

“Noah, that's enough. We're doing everything we can to find the body but for now, you all should be careful.” Detective Rodriguez said to us.

“Detective, do you think Tyler is dead for real?” Kim asked with a worried look on her face.

“We can say for sure, but you all need to be careful, my men and I will look into the matter seriously.”

“Thank you Detective, for this Information.” Jimmy said as Detective Rodriguez left.

We told Anna, sbd her parents about this recent development, and they were scared but I assured them that we won't let anything happen to them. Security was pretty tight and serious in the mansion and at Anna's house.

It's been a few months since, after Tyler's disappearance without a trace, the police are on the case but it proves to be futile. Everything has been going on well with everyone, Jimmy was going strong with Latoye, they were both crazy about each other, Rebecca was put in a mental asylum to get the help that she needs. Anna's parents were trying to deal with the pain, and they were getting better at it. uncle still beats himself up, for Tyler's turn out.

Today was my wedding with Anna, and I couldn't be happier, I watched In awe as she walked towards me at the altar. We both exchanged vows, in the presence of our families and loved ones. It was a beautiful event, and a celebration of our love. We had this wedding fast because Anna was pregnant and we didn't want anyone to know.

We had our honeymoon, in the beautiful Santorini, Greece. We spent like one month there and we came back happy, and very much in love with each other. We still watch our backs for trouble like Tyler because we know that his body wasn't found.
