Chapter 79 The Devil's Charm
BELLA
My heart pounded as the door creaked open, and David stepped inside. He moved with the same casual arrogance, his dark eyes scanning the room like he owned it and me. I swallowed hard, willing my expression to remain neutral. Did he know? Could he sense that I’d regained my memories?
“Why are you here?” I asked, my voice steady despite the unease bubbling beneath the surface. I crossed my arms over my chest, a flimsy shield against his probing gaze.
He tilted his head slightly, smirking. “Just checking on my woman.”
My stomach twisted. Did he mean that? Or was this just another act in his carefully controlled game? The memory of his betrayal seared through me, but I forced myself to stay calm. I was no longer the naive woman he thought I was, but he couldn’t know that.
He stepped closer and handed me a small bag. “What’s that?” I asked, not bothering to hide my suspicion.
“Open it.”
I hesitated before pulling apart the delicate wrapping. A gasp escaped me as I lifted the gown from the bag. Diamonds glittered along the fabric, catching the light in an almost hypnotic display.
“It’s beautiful,” I murmured, unable to mask my surprise.
He smiled, but there was something predatory in his expression. “Why don’t you try it on?”
I hesitated, fingers brushing the hem of the gown. Slowly, I reached for the buttons on my blouse, my movements deliberate. But when I glanced up, his gaze was locked on me, unwavering and intense.
“Can you look away?” I asked, my voice firmer now.
Instead of answering, he took a step closer, a devilish grin spreading across his face. “Or would you rather I help you?” he teased, his voice low and suggestive. His hand reached out, fingers brushing the fabric of my blouse.
The heat of his touch burned through me, and I slapped his hand away. “I can do it myself,” I said, stepping back.
But David wasn’t one to back off. He closed the distance between us, his breath warm against my skin as he pressed his lips to my neck. A moan escaped before I could stop it, my body betraying me in the worst way.
His voice was a dark whisper against my ear. “You say you don’t want this, but your body says otherwise.”
I pushed at his chest, but he didn’t budge. Instead, his hands found my waist, lifting me effortlessly and guiding me to the bed. His lips captured mine, fierce and unrelenting, and for a moment, all my resistance crumbled.
His hands traveled lower, brushing over my stomach with a gentleness that made my breath hitch. His eyes met mine, dark and full of intent. “You’re wet for me,” he murmured, a wicked grin tugging at his lips.
Heat flooded my cheeks, but before I could respond, he tugged my panties down, his mouth trailing lower. My body trembled beneath him, each touch igniting a fire I couldn’t extinguish.
His tongue slid over me, and I cried out, my hands tangling in his hair as waves of pleasure coursed through me. He gripped my thighs, holding me in place as he worked me relentlessly, his movements precise and deliberate.
“David,” I gasped, my voice breaking as my body arched against him.
He looked up briefly, his smile both dangerous and playful. “Pee in my mouth, babe. I want to taste you.”
Shock jolted through me. “Are you crazy?” I tried to sit up, but he pinned me down, his strength overwhelming. His mouth returned to its task, and all thoughts of resistance dissolved as my body surrendered to him.
The tension coiled tight in my core before snapping, and I cried out, the release shattering me.
When he finally pulled back, his face was flushed, his breathing ragged. He leaned over me, his lips capturing mine in a kiss that was both tender and possessive. I tasted myself on his lips, a mix of embarrassment and something else I couldn’t name coursing through me.
“I love you, Bella,” he said softly, his voice uncharacteristically vulnerable. “I really love you.”
For the first time, I didn’t push him away. I didn’t argue. Instead, I let myself get lost in him, even as the memory of his betrayal lingered in the back of my mind.
