Chapter 130 Chapter 130

Chapter 130 Chapter 130
Asher’s POV

"You are going to propose to her?" Papa asked with amusement in his tone. Cohen's facial expression wasn't far from being amused too. I nodded as I dipped my hand in my pocket and brought out the little, red, box. I opened it right in front of them, revealing the diamond shaped ring. The sunlight peeking through Papa's office curtains flashed through it. It radiated and shut the small box.

"You are serious, right?" Cohen asked and I nodded. Papa slapped his shoulder playfully.
"If he wasn't serious, he wouldn't have bought the ring, no?" Papa smiled.
I swallowed. "So that's why I am here to ask for your blessing and support to propose to Aliyah. I want to get married to her. I love her and I am going to protect her till death do us apart."
Papa nodded in approval. "You are going to have my blessings after the DNA test has been done. I won't agree to something that is going to hurt my daughter. I hope you understand, Asher."
"Yes sir but I also want you to believe me that I didn't get that woman pregnant at all not to talk about bearing me a son. When I looked at that kid, he looked nothing like me. He is tanned and I am not." I explained.

"I believe you, Asher. That bitch just wants to ruin the two of you. I don't know why Aliyah can't see that. Fuck her!" That was from Cohen. He supported me. Cohen has changed but I believed that he already changed. I believe that he won't hurt Aliyah ever again. After all, they were twins. They won't want to hurt each other. Cohen hasn't been feeling well for like three days now.
Papa said he has been nauseous and throwing up. "How are you feeling now?" I asked Cohen.
"I am okay but not totally. I still feel exhausted. " He answered.
Then my phone beeped for a message. I checked it. It was the doctor saying that the result was out. My heart raced faster than ever. I have never been so scared in my life. The doctor emailed it to me instantly. I manned up and clicked on it.

Papa and Cohen fell silent.
Negative
Relief washed through me as I set my eyes on the word. So she was never even pregnant.
"So?" Cohen asked with expectancy.
"Negative. That kid is not mine." I said proudly and passed the phone to them. Papa checked first and Cohen did.
"I knew that whore was lying." Cohen frowned.
"I am glad he is not yours. Congratulations, Asher Moretti, you now have the permission to propose to Aliyah. I am giving you two my blessings. I just hope you won't hurt my daughter." Papa said.
I smiled widely.
"Congratulations, Asher." Cohen shakes hands with me. I have never been this much happy in my life. I printed the results in a paper to show to Aliyah.

I got back home at seven o'clock in the evening. I hope she will find it in her to forgive me for everything that I have done to her. For having sex with that woman. Tatiana was never pregnant to begin with. She just wanted to pin it on me. Aliyah wasn't in the living room, so I checked for Elara. She was busy with the new nanny I hired for her. Diana. Then I knew she was going to be inside of her room.
She was there, busy typing something on her laptop. Then I saw the building she wanted to acquire for her new business. Her bar. I didn't understand why she didn't want to continue racing. She had it in her. She was a talented racer but I won't force her to do what she doesn't want.
She looked up as soon as I walked in further.

"What do you want now, Asher?" She asked, frowning.
"It's out. It's official. Tatiana's kid is not mine. She was never even pregnant." I stated, bringing out the brown envelope, placing it on the desk right in front of her. I didn't expect her to check instantly but if there was one thing I was glad about, it was that I didn't have another pup of mine outside.
She didn't check as expected.
"So what now? You expect me to believe this? Really?" I knew she was about to start an argument. I wasn't going to allow that tonight. I was all for peace. I wasn't going to entertain her stubbornness.
"I have proved it to you, Aliyah. Please just try to check it."
She cleared her throat, looking all pale.
"Get out, Asher." She whispered.
"But I-"
"Get out, please." She said, even louder.

I didn't hesitate to excuse her. She looked even more exhausted than I was. What was wrong? The air felt different with her. I stayed behind her door to hear her. I ended up hearing nothing. I headed for the master bedroom which was larger than the room she was in. She had refused to sleep in the same room with me ever since Elara's welcome party. I brought out my phone and clicked on the camera attached to the room she was in. I had my security management install the cameras on my phone so I can see what goes on in my house when I am not around.

I sat down and watched as she picked up the brown envelope and pulled out the white paper. Her eyes scanned through it thoroughly, as if she was looking for a mistake. I saw as she breathed in relief. I saw the faintest smile on her lips. That got me relieved too yet there was still something about her. There was still something different about her. I was still watching her when suddenly, she sprang up and rushed to the bathroom. I switched to the camera in the bathroom. I rose to my feet seeing Aliyah throw up in the sink. She held her hair in her left hand so it wouldn't get in the way.
Goodness. What the hell was happening to her?
Was she not feeling well?
The first idea in my head was to call Tracy. She would know. They were like sisters. They don't keep things away from each other. I pulled out my second phone and dialed her number. This was also my chance of telling her what I have in store for Aliyah. I hope she will be able to say something.

Her phone wasn't reachable. I will just meet with her tomorrow.
