Chapter 201 Hijacked

Chapter 201 Hijacked

Ryan noticed Cecilia's pale face and jogged over to her. "Ms. Nelson, what's wrong?"

"I'm fine, just have kids at home and need to get back early! Congratulations to Mr. Powell today on securing that land - another chance to make big moves!" Cecilia smiled professionally, acting as if nothing had happened.

Ryan kept staring at Cecilia, his eyes flickering with unclear emotions.

He moved his lips and said, "I'll have someone drive you home!"

Cecilia refused directly, "No need, I drove here. Mr. Powell, you carry on, I'll be leaving now!"

With that, she strode away.

On her way out, her mind kept replaying what Sebastian had photographed, except he couldn't produce it in the end.

The man who bumped into Sebastian - if she wasn't mistaken, the photos had already been deleted by him.

Cecilia stepped out of the hotel into the biting cold wind, shivering from the chill.

She hadn't driven today. Her outfit wasn't suitable for driving, so she came in Damon's car and now had to take a taxi back.

She had Damon stay behind to help him integrate into this circle quickly.

She had also assigned Helen a task.

Aurora and Daphne had teamed up, radiating hostility toward her.

This little episode was entertainment for others, but for Cecilia, it was humiliation.

She had always thought Sebastian was a jerk, but tonight she finally saw clearly that his cheap tricks were nothing compared to Ethan and Ryan's - simply stupid and clumsy.

But what about herself?

Wasn't she an idiot too?

The taxi sped along. Her head felt dizzy when suddenly the car screeched to a sharp stop - an SUV was blocking the road ahead.

The driver stuck his head out and cursed, "Are you sick? Looking to die in the middle of the night!"

Before Cecilia could react, the car door was yanked open. She was forcefully dragged out and quickly thrown into another car.

She struggled to get up and tried to open the door, but heard the lock click.

It all happened so fast that she hadn't even seen who it was before the car sped away.

She looked anxiously toward the front seat and discovered it was Sebastian.

"Are you crazy?" Cecilia shouted.

"Yes, I am crazy, driven crazy by you, Cecilia. Are you satisfied now?"

Cecilia didn't bother wondering why he'd lost it. She lunged forward to claw at him, trying to make him stop the car.

Sebastian dodged left and right using the seat, and the car zigzagged under his control, drawing honks and countless curses.

He suddenly roared, "Cecilia, since you want to die, let's die together today."

With that, he slammed on the gas and the car shot forward.

Cecilia grabbed the door handle in terror, cursing with utter contempt, "Lunatic, trash, animal, stop the car!"

"Why stop? You like kissing him, but I won't have it - you're my wife!"

Sebastian finished angrily, then questioned her, "Cecilia, when exactly did you start messing around with him? You actually cheated on me behind my back. I really underestimated you!"

He ranted and cursed the whole way until the car stopped. Cecilia realized they'd arrived at the apartment complex where they used to live.

Sebastian parked under their building, got out and dragged her out, then pulled her toward the entrance.

Cecilia struggled and refused to cooperate, shouting loudly, "Sebastian, let me go!"

"Go ahead and shout, better yet, attract everyone out here so they can see what kind of woman you are - cheating while acting innocent."

Sebastian cursed while dragging her upstairs. Cecilia was pulled along, crawling and tumbling, scraping her knees and palms. Sharp pain spread through her limbs.

Soon they reached the apartment door. As soon as it opened, Sebastian didn't even turn on the living room light, just dragged her straight to the bedroom.

Cecilia was thrown hard onto the bed. A musty smell hit her nose.

Sebastian turned on the light, then pounced on Cecilia like a wild beast.

Cecilia struggled desperately, hitting and cursing him.

Sebastian raised his hand and slapped her hard. She saw stars and lost the strength to struggle.

"Since you dare to cheat, I'll satisfy you today!" Sebastian said viciously, his hand yanking hard. The sound of her dress tearing filled the air.

Cecilia felt a chill on her body and immediately screamed in terror, "Let me go, help!"

She used her hands and feet, biting and kicking wildly. Sebastian was enraged, his eyes turning blood red, laughing with twisted pleasure, "You can scream your head off today and no one will save you!"

"Sebastian, let me go!" Cecilia roared desperately.

A strong wave of nausea kept hitting her. She would rather die than be touched by this animal Sebastian.

Seeing her so stubborn, Sebastian flew into a rage and slapped her again.

Cecilia's head snapped to the side from the blow. Everything spun and her mind couldn't think straight.

Sebastian pinned her hands, spewing filthy words, "Cecilia, honey, be good, just lie there and let me love you. You don't know how much I love you, how much I've missed you. When I saw you with another man—"

Before he could finish, a loud bang came from outside. Cecilia seized the chance to shout, "Help! Save me!"

A moment later, an angry roar filled with darkness came from the doorway, "You animal, you dare touch her? I think you're tired of living!"

Then Cecilia felt the weight lift from her body, followed by the dull thud of something heavy hitting the floor.

She didn't bother looking, quickly grabbing the dusty blanket to cover herself, then her emotions broke and tears poured out.

Even the strongest woman can't stay calm when facing something like this.

She curled up under the blanket, glancing sideways to see Ethan raising his fist high, then bringing it down hard, beating Sebastian until he howled continuously.

In that moment, all the grievances, humiliation, and shame flooded her heart. Her broken heart fell apart piece by piece, the pain unbearable.

Sebastian, that animal - he'd made a complete mess of her life, and even after the divorce, he still wouldn't let Cecilia go, trying to drag her down into filthy mud.

After what felt like forever, as the screams grew weaker, Cecilia snapped back and stopped him, "Stop hitting him!"

Her voice was weak, but Ethan still heard it. He abruptly released the barely conscious Sebastian and stood up, walking to the bedside.

Cecilia looked at Ethan and was startled by his dark expression.

Those deep eyes were like ice, radiating a freezing coldness.

Sebastian struggled to get up, but Ethan kicked him, making him howl in pain before passing out.
