DOMINIC'S POV
I didn't hesitate when I got the message from the school. The parents of the bullies that I demanded for were here, though the thought of me seeing them died away but then I can't be a coward and cancel that.
"Make sure you deal with the necessary files. I will be back soon, I need to catch up with something." I instructed as I got up to leave.
Clara had a look of confusion on her face. I know how that was too much for her to handle.
Actually, it is something that we were supposed to handle together, suddenly this happened.
"Sir, do I leave some for you to make confirmation before it is sent away?" Her eyes were pale already.
She looked worn-out.
"Just do what you can and leave the rest for me, this is something I am supposed to handle." I instructed her.
She gave out a sigh of relief.
Bailey, Hayley and Kaylie were in school. I didn't tell them about this, they had no idea I would come there.
Well, I didn't either because it took a long time before the school called me back.
"I hope this goes well for you." I muttered as I drove hurriedly to the school.
In no time I was there, the security made way for me to park my car.
I stepped out with my head high, I didn't give anyone the chance to think down of me.
"Good day sir,, you must be one of the parents that was invited.." A young woman approached me.
"Yes please, where do I get to see them? I had things to do before I got the call." My patience wasn't that intact. I just want to get done with it and I'm gone.
"It's this way sir. Come with me." She led me to the office where they held the meeting.
"Here..." She gestured for me to go forward.
"Oh, welcome Mr. Dominic. Please come have a sit." The principal got up to welcome me in.
I could barely hear he was saying, I got engrossed with the look on these people's faces.
The woman looked more fierce, her piercing look didn't leave a thing for me to feel. I looked at her just like I would do to any human.
The principal cleared his throat to start the speech, I guess he noticed the look that we gave to each other.
"Please gentlemen, I need us to have one understanding here..." He paused.
"It was all an accident, nothing more." He added with the calmest voice to avoid being attacked.
"I don't care. Just get on with it." I looked away.
I got fed up already and regretted why I didn't just turn down the message when I had the chance.
"Please Mr. Brown, your son needs to be detained. He went too far."
"No, that was just self-defense. My son would never sit and think of fighting with someone." The so-called Mr. Brown tried to defend his own
"Or maybe he would. What exactly was he defending himself from?" The woman jumped in.
"Maybe your son needs to be taught some manners .." The man pointed his fingers at her.
Now I knew how this was going to end, she would never let him go after pointing those hands at her.
"Maybe you need to teach your son to know when to defend instead of acting like a fearful coward.." She raised her voice in anger.
I watched the whole drama in silence. My concern was for the principal to clear the air and tell me why my daughter got knocked out, every other argument here was worthless to me.
"Woah, both of you need to calm down. This isn't the way we are going to solve the matter at hand." Then principal tried his best to keep them calm
"You should warn this nincompoop and not me..." The woman spat on his face.
"Or maybe you should warn you bastard son. He has no father, that's why you come here running your mouth." The man didn't give the woman a chance to breath.
My eyes went from him talking to the woman shouting and the principal that was trying to act calm. Soon, the principal's voice wasn't heard anymore.
"CAN BOTH OF YOU STOPPP!!!!" He screamed out his lungs.
Now that's what they want.
"Everyone here would speak their mind but you have to be patient. How do you think you will be looked at if the Children hear you shouting from inside?" His adrenaline was already doing the work even if he tried to sound calm.
"I do not have the whole day to waste watching both of you argue like you lost your brains. I need to know why my daughter was knocked down , she was lying in the hospital lifeless." I finally had the chance to speak without being interrupted.
"I'm sorry about whatever happened. Please, Mr. Brown, your son will be detained. And the Same thing applies to your son for fighting and knocking out a student." The principal gave his final words.
"My son didn't knock down your daughter." She clenched her teeth and folded her hands into a fist.
"You can tell that to the school authorities." I smirked.
She had this burning look on her face but it's obvious that she can't do anything.
"Maybe you should check on your child. Why would she be lying on the hospital bed just because she got hit? Lightly?" He looked away.
"You will find out why by the Time I knock your son out myself." I got up to leave.
I felt annoyed and disrespected and that is something I do not love to tolerate.
I saw the look on those people's faces, there is no way I am leaving Bailey here. They had other plans for her, I am not a fool and I'll never be.
"I will take my leave now." I left the office immediately
I got to Bailey's class and grabbed her away.
"Daddy, what's going on?" She refused to let go of me.
"Don't worry sweetie, I am going to do the explanation later. For now, just follow me." I jacked her into the car.
"Dad, are you just going to take her out like that?" Kaylie wasn't in support of me taking her away when I shared my thoughts with them..
"Yes, dad. I made new friends and I can't leave them that way.... please." Her eyes were wet already.
I took a deep breath and thought deeply about the whole issue.
"I think you should search for mom. She will know better in this case." Bailey added.
Everyone looked up at her, we assumed that she was just being the child she is.
"Our mom has long dark brown hair, her eyes are bright green. Just In Case you need any information to search for her." Hayley added.
I Know Hayley to be a jokester, but, at this moment he sounded so serious and I know when he is serious about something.
I watched my triplet look at me hoping to hear something better. I got confused and didn't know what to say.
"We will find your mother, she will find you too." I managed to think of something to say.
"How long will that take?" Bailey's voice was shaky.
Tears had shimmered in her eyes.
"No, no, don't do that. I will make sure I begin to search for her and you will see her soon. Okay?" I hugged all of them together.
