SOPHIA'S POV
My thoughts wandered about how Liam said no to me.
"That man is really trying to get on my nerves." I could not stop talking to myself even if I looked like a fool.
"What?" I paused and attacked the maid that had been staring into my soul for a long time.
"N... nothing. I'm sorry." She buried her face to the ground.
"Get the fuck out of here, I don't really care about your apologies." I blinked my eyes several times that my
lashes began to flutter.
"Sorry..." She kept apologizing and that was pissing me off badly.
I rolled my eyes and jumped on the sofa behind me.
"Should I think that Liam still loves her? Does he think I am fighting for her?" My eyebrows snapped together.
"There are lots of things I need to learn in order to get him." I gulped in the drink that was in glass.
"More.." I stretched out the glass .
Within minutes they had poured in the wine, it almost overflowed.
"You can drop it on my head too."
The maid's behavior got on my nerves every time, this isn't the girl that works with me.
Whatever happened to that one I do not know and now I'm stuck with this lunatic. Someone that acts before she thinks.
"Ma, is there anything you want me to get for you?" She asked despite the eyes I used on her.
"Have I gotten anything to eat since morning? If no, then...." I shrugged and merely looked away.
I was expecting some dumb questions from her but to my surprise she understood immediately and left to prepare breakfast.
"Wow, she is improving. I'm not a bad teacher after all." I smirked.
"Sophia!!!" I heard the agitating voice from outside.
He barged into the house, I didn't make a move. He saw me there, half naked. The clothes were revealing my breasts and didn't make any attempt to cover it.
"Why don't you just wait until you get into the house before you start venting?" I was already tired of what he was going to say.
"Sorry for barging in that way...ummm...are...are you going to cover that?" His eyes were in another direction in the room.
"What? You can't get your eyes off it? Or ...is it making you lose your target, Elara?" I teased him.
I bit my lower lip. In a seductive manner.
"Look!!" I called him slowly.
I moved my body around and my breasts kept hitting together.
He tilted his head, he was uncomfortable with this but guess who can't resist it?
"Victor?" His voice came out as a moan.
"What the hell is wrong with you?" His eyes widened and I could see how uninterested he was.
"Oh, I see. You cherish her so much that you do not want to cheat on her even when she doesn't know you are in a relationship with her." I sighed and let out the laughter that was stuck in my stomach for days.
"That's not why I'm here Sophia." He cleared his throat and poured some wine into the glass for himself.
"Oh.." I sat upright and listened to what he had to say.
By this time I had gotten a scarf and wrapped it around my chest area, now he can concentrate.
"So what are you here for then?" I asked, trying to look interested but deeply I just wanted to get the fuck out of there.
"Do you have anything about Elara? Have you figured out a way to make sure we aren't detected in any of these?"
For a second I was lost in what he was saying, what do you mean "figured out a way?".
"You are the one who goes there all the time, I mean you don't even have to ask me about her." He scoffed and looked away.
"Have you forgotten that she is your best friend, you have to act that way." He raised his eyebrows.
"Whatever, but please don't ever ask me about her. Hearing about her pisses me off, that should be enough." I warned.
"No, I won't. But in order to make things not get suspicious. You have to accept being her best friend, at Least for the meantime." He screwed up his face.
That face didn't look like he meant all what he just said , that was kind of a mockery face. I didn't mind what he did. I just made sure I focused on the information he was trying to give.
"Fine. I went to her house to visit, no information passed. So, I think I'll keep trying."
"She trusts us, she trusts that we are going to help her hunt down Liam." He gnashed his teeth.
I scoffed.
"Trust us?? Why?"
"I would ask myself the same thing, but look, we are the only ones around her and now it looks like the world is against her. So, I think she has every right to trust us." He explained to me..
"Wonderful..."
"So all we have to do is not break that trust until we have gotten what we want."
I got bored of the conversation and needed to do something that would excite me.
"Whatever she thinks about us is her business. We just have to focus on the goal, right?" I got up from the sofa and walked over to him.
His chest button was open, I rubbed and massaged his chest slowly.
"Sophia, you shouldn't....." I shut his mouth with my fingers before he could complete the sentence.
"I don't want to do anything, don't preach to me." I rolled my eyes and walked off.
I left him in the sitting room to rethink his decision.
"Are you not going to say anything about her?" He shouted from the sitting room.
"I'm done with talking victor. If you have any other thing to say, keep it until I am awake." I slammed my door shut.
I fell on the bed and stared at the ceiling.
I had a lot going through my mind, I let out a heavy sigh of relief.
