The lies And Confrontation

The lies And Confrontation
Lambert stormed into his mother’s chamber like a thunderbolt, face flushed with humiliation and rage. Mina, seated before her mirror while a maid brushed her hair, frowned at the abrupt entrance.

“Lambert? What—”

“He insulted me, Mother!” Lambert yelled, pointing toward the hallway. “Matt! He thinks he can talk to me anyhow because he’s Beta! He told me I’m not fit to be Alpha!”

Mina shot up from her seat instantly.

“What?” her voice sliced through the room like a knife.
She dismissed the maid with a snap of her fingers.

The moment they were alone, Lambert launched into his twisted version of events—how Matt had “disrespected” him, “humiliated” him, and treated him like a child.

Lambert conveniently left out everything he had done to the maid.

Mina’s beautiful face twisted with anger.

“How dare he speak to you like that?” she hissed. “You are the future Alpha. You can do whatever you want with anyone beneath you. If a maid catches your eye, she should be grateful you even look at her.”

Lambert smirked proudly, feeding off her madness.

Mina paced the room, her fury only growing.

“That maid must be punished,” she muttered darkly. “She probably seduced you intentionally. But before that—” she stopped, her eyes narrowing with venom,
“—Matt needs to learn his place.”

She summoned a guard immediately.

“Bring Beta Matt to me. At once.”

Within minutes, Matt entered, posture straight and aura calm, though he already knew trouble awaited. Lambert stood behind Mina wearing a smug, triumphant expression.

Mina began her attack immediately.

“How dare you,” she spat. “How dare you scold my son! Who do you think you are? You forget your status, Matt. You forget that the Moon Goddess denied you a mate because of your terrible character. That’s why you’re alone. That’s why no one wants you.”

Lambert snickered openly.

Matt’s jaw tightened, but he stayed calm.

Mina stepped closer, her voice dripping with poison.
“You are nothing compared to Lambert. He is an Alpha. He can sleep with whomever he wants, discipline whomever he wants, command whomever he wants. And YOU—” she shoved a finger toward his chest “—you are just a tool the Alpha keeps around to bark orders.”

Lambert chuckled.
“Yeah, Beta. Know your place.”

Matt finally raised his eyes, and the coldness in them made both of them falter for a heartbeat.

“Let me tell you something, Luna Mina,” Matt said softly, dangerously steady. “You are raising an incompetent Alpha. A spoiled, disrespectful, uncontrolled boy who will destroy this pack the moment he takes the throne.”

Mina gasped in outrage. Matt continued.

“Lambert is the way he is because you interfere with his training. Because you treat him like a god instead of teaching him discipline. Because you reward his weakness and punish the people trying to help him.”

“Shut your filthy mouth!” Mina screamed. “I should—” She lifted her hand to slap him.

But Matt’s aura snapped so sharply that Mina froze mid-motion, trembling.

“Don’t,” Matt warned coldly. “Don’t ever try that.” For a moment, no one breathed.

Then Matt turned and walked out, slamming the door behind him.

Mina shook with fury, her face red.

“I’ll destroy him,” she swore. “I’ll make him regret ever raising his voice at me.”

Still seething, Mina dragged Lambert along with her straight to Theo’s study room. She pushed the doors open without knocking.

“Theo!” she cried dramatically. “You must punish Matt! He insulted Lambert—he insulted ME!”

Lambert added his own exaggerated complaints.

Theo listened silently, his expression unreadable.

When Mina finished her elaborate lies, Theo simply said:

“Summon Matt.”

Mina blinked, stunned.
“You—you believe him over your own wife?”

Theo’s silence was answer enough.

A guard returned shortly with Matt.

Theo didn’t waste words.
“Explain. Now.”

Matt bowed respectfully, then clearly, calmly recounted everything—from the screams he heard, to the maid’s terror, to Lambert’s behavior, to Mina’s insults.

The room fell into heavy silence.

Theo exhaled sharply through his nose. His anger was icy, controlled, deadly.

He turned to Matt first.

“You failed,” Theo said sternly. “A Beta should discipline future Alphas BEFORE they become uncontrollable adults. You should have acted sooner.”

Matt bowed his head. “I accept the blame.”

Theo nodded.

“Your salary for the entire year is cut.”

Mina’s eyes lit with triumph—until Theo continued:

“And because you failed to correct Lambert earlier, from now on—Lambert is under your full authority.”

Mina froze.

Lambert’s eyes widened in horror.

“If Lambert steps out of line,” Theo said, voice edged with steel, “you punish him. No exceptions.”

“Dad—!” Lambert started.

Theo’s glare shut his mouth instantly.

“Dismissed,” Theo ordered Matt.

Matt bowed and left calmly, ignoring Mina’s murderous stare.

The moment the door closed, Theo turned to Lambert, fury erupting through his alpha aura.

“You humiliated this pack,” Theo growled. “You abused a girl under our protection. You ignored your Beta. And you dare lie to me?”

Lambert trembled.

“From this moment,” Theo said coldly, “you are confined to your chamber. Indefinitely. No training, no wandering, no privileges.”

Lambert’s face turned pale.
“But Father—”

“If you do not change your behavior,” Theo cut him off, “I will give the Alpha position to someone else.”

Mina gasped, shouting instantly.
“You can’t do that! Lambert is your rightful heir!”

Theo snapped his gaze toward her.

“And YOU are the reason he is turning into a monster!” Mina recoiled.

“If you had stopped babying him, if you had let him grow up, if you didn’t poison his mind with entitlement, he wouldn’t be this out of control!”

“You dare blame ME?” Mina screamed. “You’re the father! You never loved him enough—”

“You taught him arrogance!” Theo roared. “You taught him to disrespect the pack! You taught him greed!”

“Maybe I wouldn’t have to,” Mina yelled back, “if you weren’t a cold, heartless Alpha who cares more about rules than his family!”

"And if you weren’t an arrogant, foolish luna who cares more about her son being the Alpha without teaching him how to become one, your son wouldn't have grown to become a rapist!" Theo’s eyes darkened with pure frustration.

"What..!" Lambert looked shocked.

"You dare my son a rapist? Just because he slept with a filthy maid who had probably seduced him?" Mina screamed at him, her red eyes blazing.

Theo scoffed loudly " That usually, and exactly how it's starts!"

"Maybe he got it from you then, after all, you did the same to me!" Mina said and Theo’s eyes turned red, the room suddenly went icy.

"Get out. You disgust me..!" Theo said in a low lethal voice that made Mina quiet.

Shaking with rage and humiliation, Mina grabbed Lambert’s wrist.

“Suit yourself... We’re leaving!” she snapped.

And dragging her sulking son behind her, she stormed out of the study room, slamming the door so hard the walls trembled.
