Alpha Damian Sudden Visit
Jihoo’s words hit Theo like a blade to the chest.
“Soliam is dead?” Theo asked, his voice barely above a whisper.
Jihoo nodded gravely. “Yes, Alpha. We confirmed it through the patrols near the southern border. His body was found months ago, buried in a shallow grave. We believe he was murdered, but there were no clear traces of who did it. The only thing we found at the site was a child’s wrapping —too small to belong to an adult. I think… it might be linked to the sold child.”
The silence that followed was heavy—suffocating.
Theo closed his eyes briefly, his jaw clenching as he tried to keep himself together. His heart pounded painfully, each beat echoing the realization that his child—their heir—might never be found. For a moment, he wanted to break, to scream at the injustice of it all. But with Jihoo and Mina watching, he forced himself to stand tall.
“Keep the investigation running,” Theo finally said, his voice rough and low. “If there’s any trace—any witness, any clue—you bring it to me immediately.”
“Yes, Alpha,” Jihoo bowed and turned to leave.
But before Theo could even draw his next breath, the sound of hurried footsteps echoed through the corridor. The door burst open, and Matt stumbled in, breathing heavily.
Theo instantly sensed something was wrong. “What is it, Matt?” he asked sharply.
Matt’s face was pale, his chest rising and falling rapidly. “Alpha Damian… he’s here!”
Theo’s head snapped up. “What?”
“Yes,” Matt said between breaths. “He just arrived—with Gamma Liam. They’re outside.”
Theo didn’t wait another second. He pushed past Matt and strode out of the chamber, his heart racing. Matt and Jihoo followed close behind.
Outside, the air was thick with tension. Damian stood tall, his imposing figure half-shadowed under the tall coconut tree. Beside him was Liam, his face as unreadable as stone. Both men were staring upward when Theo approached.
“Alpha Damian,” Theo greeted respectfully, bowing slightly. Matt and Jihoo followed his lead.
But Damian didn’t answer. He slowly turned his gaze toward Theo, his eyes dark and cold.
The silence between them was crushing. Even the guards standing nearby held their breath.
Theo tried again, bowing deeper. “Alpha Damian.”
Finally, Damian spoke, his voice deep and sharp as thunder. “What is this strange wind blowing through your pack, Theo?”
The words froze Theo in place. His mind reeled for an answer, but before he could speak, a group of elders arrived, bowing hurriedly to greet Damian. Still, Damian ignored them.
Without a word, he walked ahead toward the estate. The others exchanged anxious glances before hurrying after him.
Theo ushered him inside the hall, the air was tense with anticipation. Every elder, warrior, and pack official who had heard of Damian’s arrival quickly gathered, their murmurs dying down as he entered.
Damian stopped at the front of the hall and turned to face them. His cold stare swept across the room like a storm wind, making every man there lower his head in fear.
He spoke again, his voice calm but deadly. “I asked a question. What is this strange wind I hear swirling in your pack? I was on my way back from an alliance meeting at Brothstone and I decided to pay you a short visit when rumors reached me. I want to know the truth—from your mouths.”
Theo exchanged a brief glance with Matt, realizing immediately what he meant. The elders shifted uneasily. Finally, one stood up and spoke.
“Alpha Damian,” the elder began, bowing low, “it is true. A grave sin has been uncovered. Samantha—the former head maid—was discovered to have murdered Luna Rina and sold her child. She confessed under interrogation.”
A tense silence followed. Damian turned his gaze to Theo, his expression unreadable but his eyes burning with restrained fury. Theo lowered his head in shame.
The elder continued nervously, “We searched for the child but have found no trace yet, Alpha. The merchant she sold the child to has been discovered dead.”
Jihoo then stepped forward to confirm the report, detailing the investigation in careful, measured tones. When he finished, the entire hall was silent again.
Damian exhaled slowly, his eyes darkening with grief and rage. Then he spoke in a chillingly calm voice, “Bring Samantha out. I want to see her with my own eyes. And summon every member of this pack to the arena—now.”
Theo bowed deeply. “At once, Alpha.”
He turned and hurried out, followed closely by Matt and Jihoo. Damian remained where he was, standing at the center of the hall with a faint, unnerving smile curling at the edge of his lips. The elders exchanged wary glances. That smile… it wasn’t amusement. It was the kind of quiet, seething calm that came before destruction.

In the waiting room, Samantha sat slumped in chains, her body covered in blood and bruises. The female warriors stood guard around her, their expressions hard.
When the door opened, her eyes lifted weakly—and her pale lips curved into a faint, delusional smile.
“Theo… you came to see me,” she rasped, coughing. “See? I told you he would come.”
Miko clenched his jaw, fury flashing in his eyes. “Silence, you murderer!” he spat, raising the silver whip again.
But Theo’s voice stopped him cold. “No need, Miko.”
Miko froze. “Alpha?”
Theo stepped closer, his expression dark but strangely calm. “No need to dirty your hands further. Someone else will handle her.”
“Someone else?” Samantha echoed weakly, blood dripping from her lip. “Who… who could possibly—”
Theo’s lips curved into a grim smile. “Someone you’re familiar with. Alpha Damian.”
The words struck her like a thunderbolt. Her eyes widened in sheer horror as the color drained completely from her face.
“No…” she whispered, shaking her head weakly. “No… he—he can’t be here… he can’t—”
Before she could finish, her body went limp, her eyes rolling back. Samantha fainted on the spot, collapsing to the floor with a dull thud.
Theo looked down at her coldly. “Take her to the arena,” he ordered. “It’s time she faced the truth she buried.”
