Furious Ex girlfriend

Furious Ex girlfriend
The moment Rina stepped further into the room, everything shifted.
The familiar scent that hit him wasn’t his ex-girlfriend’s cloying perfume—it was something deeper, more primal. His wolf surged beneath his skin, reacting instantly to the delicate, calming scent radiating from the girl standing timidly by the doorway.
Rina.
His breath caught in his throat. His heart pounded once, then again—harder, louder. Mate.
Without thinking, Theo yanked his hand away from his ex, stepping past her as if she didn’t exist. His eyes locked onto Rina’s, stunned by the sudden spark crackling in the air between them. She looked startled, confused… but her cheeks flushed pink, and her scent deepened—sweet, nervous, and undeniably drawn to him.
He moved toward her like a man in a trance, slowly but purposefully, then stopped right in front of her. Gently, reverently, he reached out and pulled her closer by the waist, holding her like something precious. Their eyes never left each other’s.
Behind them, his ex stood frozen in shock, mouth agape.
“What the hell is going on here?!” she barked, voice shrill with disbelief. “Theo—are you seriously touching her in front of me? That... omega?”
Her words cut the air like a knife.
Theo turned, his arms protectively still around Rina. His golden eyes flared with sudden, deadly fire.
“Watch your mouth,” he growled, his voice low and dangerous. “She’s my mate.”
His ex stepped forward, fury overtaking her features. “She’s not worthy of you! You can’t be mated to someone like her!”
Rina flinched.
Theo’s expression darkened. “If you ever—ever—try to hurt her, even with your words, I’ll personally make sure you regret it.”
The air turned thick with power, his authority crackling like lightning in the room.
Then he raised his hand and called to the guards just outside.
“Remove her. And make sure she never steps foot in this estate again.”
The guards entered instantly, bowing their heads.
His ex struggled as they took her arms. “You’ll regret this, Theo! I’ll make sure you pay for humiliating me like this!”
But Theo didn’t even blink. His attention was solely on Rina now.
Once she was gone and the doors slammed shut behind them, Theo finally turned to her—his eyes softening from rage to warmth.
Rina stood there, tense, clearly shaken.
“Hey,” he whispered, brushing a loose strand of hair behind her ear. “I’m sorry you had to witness that. But you’re safe now. With me.”
She lowered her gaze, her voice barely above a whisper. “I didn’t mean to come between—”
“No,” he interrupted gently, cupping her cheek. “You didn’t come between anything. The moment I saw you… I knew. You’re meant for me. You’re mine. And I’m yours.”
Her lips parted, but no words came. Emotion shimmered in her eyes.
“Come,” Theo said softly, wrapping an arm around her waist. “You’re moving in with me tonight. I won’t let you stay another minute where anyone can treat you like less than what you are.”
He paused at the doorway, then added, “And tomorrow—I’m introducing you to Alpha Damian and Beta Lucian. Because from now on, I want the whole pack to know who you are.”
Rina stared up at him, her chest swelling with an emotion she hadn’t felt in years—hope.

Later that day, Theo took Rina with him to the Alpha’s estate. The moment they arrived, luck was on his side—Lucian was already there, seated across from Damian in the planning room. The atmosphere was heavy with strategy, maps spread across the large oak table, but when Theo stepped in with Rina beside him, both men looked up.
With a proud yet respectful smile, Theo bowed slightly before speaking.
“Alpha Damian. Beta Lucian,” he said, his voice calm but touched with excitement. “I came to share good news. I’ve found my mate.”
Both Damian and Lucian turned toward Rina, who stood just slightly behind Theo, her eyes lowered and her fingers fidgeting nervously with the hem of her dress. Despite her shyness, her presence felt warm—gentle, almost calming.
Damian stood first, his hard features softening with surprise and genuine joy. “You have?” he asked, his tone rising just slightly in pleasant shock.
Lucian smiled, standing too. “Well, it’s about time,” he teased. “Congratulations.”
Theo beamed at their reactions, visibly relieved. “Thank you, Alpha. Beta. I know this will come as a surprise, but… it’s Rina.”
Damian blinked. “Rina? The healer’s apprentice?”
“She’s the one,” Theo confirmed with a slight nod. “The bond clicked the moment I saw her. I trust the moon goddess doesn’t make mistakes.”
Damian glanced at Rina, then back at Theo. “If she’s your mate, then she’s one of us now. She’ll be protected—and respected—as such.”
Lucian gave Rina a nod and a kind smile. “Welcome to the family, Rina.”
Rina managed a shy smile and murmured a soft thank-you, still overwhelmed by the moment.
Feeling the time was right, Theo added, “Alpha… I’d like to ask something more. With your permission, I’d like Rina to step down from her position as the healer’s apprentice. I want her to live with me from now on.”
Damian didn’t even hesitate. “Permission granted.”
Grinning, Theo turned to Rina and touched her arm gently. “Go to the healer, tell her what’s been decided, and wait for me at home, alright?”
Rina gave a small nod, her eyes sparkling now with happiness. “Alright.”
With one last glance at Theo, she quietly slipped away, her heart light. For the first time in a long time, Rina felt like she belonged.
As the door closed behind her, Theo turned back to Damian and Lucian, his face hardening as he stepped toward the war maps on the table.
“Now,” he said, his tone shifting. “Let’s get ready for whatever Lila has planned.”
