Chapter 60: Narrow Paths for Enemies

In the dance floor, Loren forcefully pushed through the dancing crowd, heading straight for his target. He and a few companions had come to BMW Bar for a good time, and as soon as they sat down, Loren spotted two attractive women in the dance floor. Waving to his three friends in a celebratory manner, Loren maneuvered towards his target.

Arabella and Bella were thoroughly enjoying their dance when suddenly, a stranger squeezed his way in front of them, initiating a conversation, "Hey beautiful ladies, care to have a drink together?"

Bella huffed and replied, "No need," pulling Arabella's hand as they started to walk away.

The persistent stranger was none other than Loren. Despite being ignored by the two women, Loren didn't give up. Instead, he followed them outside the dance floor. In the vicinity of the dance floor, Loren caught up with Bella and Arabella. Loren, thinking himself suave, introduced himself, "I'm Loren, the manager of Sradarc Investment Group. I believe you must have heard of me."

"I don't know," Arabella, still not sober, asked, "What does Sradarc Investment Group do?" She had just sweated out a lot from dancing, and although the alcohol had lessened its effect, she hadn't fully sobered up.

"No idea," Bella, with a hint of intoxication, vigorously shook her head. "Probably some small company, never heard of it."

This response almost made Loren faint. How could there be people who didn't know about Sradarc Investment Group? It was frequently covered by major media outlets, and there were large advertisements for it on the main commercial streets downtown. Loren, who used to have girls flocking to him at the mention of his name, was now faced with two girls who seemed oblivious to his company. It left Loren feeling frustrated.

Loren attempted to stabilize his emotions and put on his trademark brilliant smile, preparing to make another attempt to strike up a conversation. Unfortunately for him, a voice he despised rang in his ears, disrupting his plans.

"Damn, who did I think it was? It turns out to be our young master from Sradarc Investment Group."

Hearing this, Loren realized the annoying guy from before had reappeared. The last time, at the revolving restaurant of the TV tower, this guy embarrassed him. It was truly a case of running into trouble unexpectedly. Loren quickly noticed that the smile on his face stiffened as he witnessed the irritating guy wrapping his arms around the waists of the two beautiful women.

"Young Master Loren, what a coincidence meeting again," Louie, with a smirk, approached Loren. "What's the matter, tired of playing with your celebrity girlfriend, so you're out here trying to pick up some girls? Well, that's not good; you might end up with erectile dysfunction. Oh, look at me saying such things. How can our esteemed Young Master Loren have erectile dysfunction? My foul mouth deserves a beating."

"It's you again. You just won't go away, will you?" Loren's expression darkened as he spoke. "We haven't settled the last matter, and now you're here to ruin my evening. Are you tired of living? Let me tell you, squashing you is as easy as squashing an ant."

"I'm so scared, really scared," Louie chuckled. "Young Master Loren, I've always been just a little ant. How could I compare to the toad you are? Alright, I see Loren, the young master, is here to have fun. I'll leave you to it." With that, Louie, with Arabella and Bella still in his arms, walked towards the bar's exit.

Bella and Arabella, still oblivious to the situation, continued clamoring to drink more. Louie, amused by the intoxicated state of the two beautiful women, found their behavior quite entertaining. In the corridor of the bar, Louie gave a playful pat on the rounded backsides of both Bella and Arabella, silencing them momentarily. They obediently allowed Louie to lead them out of the bar, still in his embrace.

Louie opened the car door, forcefully ushering Arabella and Bella into the back seat before slamming the door shut with determination. Only after securing the back doors did he open the front door and get into the car. Observing the two women in their inebriated state, Louie couldn't help but find the situation rather amusing. He thought, "They shouldn't be drinking, yet they insist. Truly foolish."

Wary that the intoxicated women might inadvertently open the car doors and tumble out, Louie ensured the rear doors were securely locked before settling into the driver's seat. Knowing the addresses of Bella and Arabella, he started driving along Huanghe Road.

"Mr. Louie, where are we going?" Arabella slurred her words.

"I'm taking you both home; you've had enough to drink," Louie replied, glancing at them through the rearview mirror. Noticing their disheveled states, he thought, "Drinking more in this condition? Truly absurd."

Louie took a deep breath and, unintentionally glancing at the rearview mirror, saw a white Ferrari speeding up from behind. He recognized it as Loren's car.

"It seems this guy is not letting me off the hook," Louie smirked, intentionally slowing down. The Ferrari overtook Louie's car and abruptly blocked the road ahead.

"Let's see what he's up to." Louie chuckled, then observed as he didn't stop but instead increased the throttle, heading straight for the Ferrari.

"Damn, this guy is insane!" In Loren's Ferrari, Loren had been preparing to block Louie with his friends when he suddenly heard this exclamation. Raising his head, he saw Louie's car slowly approaching.

"Quick, get out of the way! Idiot, move!" Loren was on the verge of tears, inwardly cursing, "Damn, this guy is crazy."

By the time Loren thought of evading, it was already too late. Louie's Volkswagen was charging towards them.

"It's over." Loren and his three friends turned pale.

Just before the collision, Louie miraculously made an incredible turn, maneuvering around the Ferrari.

"You bastard! I won't let you off!" Loren, seeing Louie flip him off through the rearview mirror, roared, "Catch up to him! I want to crash into him and end this!"

Louie, driving the Volkswagen, zigzagged through the streets, and Loren's Ferrari, despite its speed, couldn't catch up. In terms of sheer power, Louie's Volkswagen was no match for the Ferrari. However, in terms of skill, no matter how fast the Ferrari was, catching up with Louie's Volkswagen seemed impossible.

At an upcoming intersection, Louie made a sharp turn, entering a narrow alley. The alley, sparsely populated, offered Louie a path away from the main street. Loren's Ferrari, determined to catch up, found it challenging to navigate the turns. Louie's Volkswagen, taking advantage of the situation, continued to elude the pursuing Ferrari.

As they reached the end of the alley, Louie's Volkswagen turned sharply right, rejoining the main street on the other side. At this moment, Loren, attempting to brake, was too late, and his Ferrari collided with a lamppost, blocking the central lane of the main street. Screeching tires and crashing sounds echoed as other cars, unable to stop in time, collided with the Ferrari, turning the street into chaos.
