Louie rode his motorcycle through the streets at high speed, with Kathleen reluctantly holding onto his waist from behind.
A subtle and fragrant scent, mixed with Kathleen's natural fragrance, wafted into Louie's nostrils. Kathleen's ample and soft bosom pressed tightly against Louie's back. Under normal circumstances, Louie would have made some lecherous remarks, but at this moment, he paid no attention. He increased the motorcycle's horsepower, and the powerful motorcycle roared through the streets.
"You're crazy! This is dangerous!" Kathleen tightly embraced Louie's waist, the rushing wind making a whooshing sound in her ears, and her beautiful hair getting scattered in the wind.
"Officer, do you also get scared?" Louie shouted loudly. "Trust me, close your eyes now. I'll take you flying."
"You lunatic! I don't know why I let you ride the motorcycle," Kathleen said with her mouth, but there was a sense of excitement in her heart. As a police officer, she also wanted to experience the thrill of racing like those thrill-seekers, but due to her identity, she couldn't. Given her unpleasant mood today, she yearned to release her frustration in an exhilarating way. So, following Louie's suggestion, she closed her eyes.
Louie raced through the streets, leaving a trail of cars behind. When they reached a roadside shop, Louie abruptly hit the brakes, and the motorcycle skidded towards the side of the road. Just before colliding with the edge of the road, the motorcycle came to a complete stop.
"Wait here." Louie got off the motorcycle, heading straight to the small shop. He ordered twenty cans of beer, placed them in a large plastic bag, and placed it on the motorcycle.
"Let's go." Louie started the motorcycle again. This time, he drove the motorcycle onto an overpass, heading out of the city. This road was a express route, not as crowded as the city streets. On the express route, Louie opened a can of beer and handed one to Kathleen, opening another for himself.
"You madman, where are we even going?" Kathleen asked loudly, holding a can of beer after taking a sip.
"Wherever we end up," Louie laughed heartily.
"Madman," Kathleen murmured.
Twenty minutes later, Louie parked the motorcycle by the seaside. After getting off the bike, Louie carried the beers and walked down the protective wall, all the way to the sandy beach by the sea, sitting down.
"Madman, don't you know I'm dressed lightly?" Kathleen complained, "Running to the seaside like this, if I get sick, it's all on you."
"Officer, stop complaining. If you feel cold, I don't mind you coming into my arms." Louie opened his arms, grinning mischievously. "Come on, let me warm you up."
"Hmph, dreaming of taking advantage of me? You wish," Kathleen said indignantly. Nevertheless, she went to Louie's side and sat on the sandy beach. She was wearing short denim shorts, and her two fair thighs were exposed. The sea breeze blew, causing Kathleen to shiver slightly.
Louie took off his jacket and draped it over Kathleen. He wore only a short-sleeved T-shirt, holding a beer and drinking while facing the sea breeze. A warm feeling flowed through Kathleen, and she found herself not as repulsed by Louie as before. Drinking her beer, Kathleen became interested in probing into Louie's thoughts. "Louie, you're a strange person. I always feel like I can't figure you out."
Louie chuckled. Looking into Kathleen's eyes, he asked, "Where am I strange?"
"I can't put it into words. I just feel you're strange," Kathleen hesitated and asked, "Is your car really not insured?"
"Yes," Louie nodded. "To be precise, I haven't had the chance to get insurance yet."
"You're really unlucky. Well, considering your miserable state, I won't bother you anymore. But, speaking of which, you are indeed annoying. I've never met a man like you before. You speak like a rogue, and even I find it hard to compete with you." Kathleen spoke truthfully. Despite Kathleen being a beauty, just a slight attempt to seduce a man would have most men staring at her, their mouths watering. However, she encountered Louie, who not only remained unimpressed but also mocked her a few times. That's why Kathleen persisted in bothering Louie.
Louie burst into laughter, tossing the empty beer can in his hand into the sea with a splash. Turning back, he opened another beer and said with a smile, "Everyone's life trajectory is different, leading to different attitudes toward life. Officer, if you had my experiences, you would understand my current attitude toward life."
"Don't call me 'officer.' I find it annoying. Call me Kathleen. You can address me as Kathleen." Kathleen, having consumed a fair amount of beer, had a flushed face resembling a ripe apple. Several empty beer cans around her jingled as she touched them.
Louie laughed again, finding Kathleen actually quite charming. If they could connect on a deeper level, she might make a good friend. "Kathleen, I find it strange." Louie switched to calling her Kathleen, a term that seemed ambiguous. Given that Kathleen wasn't a particularly meticulous girl, she stared at Louie with a mesmerizing gaze, asking, "Strange? What's strange?"
"The bomb case," Louie reminded Kathleen. "I've been thinking, how big of a bomb would it take to turn my car into scrap metal?"
Kathleen chuckled, patting Louie's shoulder. "You don't understand. Bombs have enormous destructive power. You know about TNT explosives, right? Less than 250 grams is enough to turn your car into scrap metal."
Louie stuck out his tongue, looking surprised. "TNT explosives? Oh my, we have that stuff in Sradarc too. That's terrifying. I'll have to be extremely cautious when going out. I might get blown up. But then again, making bombs isn't easy. Even if you want to buy, where would you go?"
"You really don't know. Both of these bombing cases were done by the same person, aiming to extort money. Judging by the methods, it's a bomb expert." Kathleen, having drunk quite a bit, forgot about the police confidentiality procedures and spoke intermittently. "If it's a bomb expert, what do you need to buy a bomb? You're a fool."
After saying this, Kathleen reached out to poke Louie's head. However, she swayed and unexpectedly fell into Louie's arms. With a beautiful woman in his embrace, not to mention Louie, even a saint might struggle to control himself. Kathleen's rosy lips were slightly pouted, and her white and red face was particularly enticing. Her enchanting eyes glittered with a captivating light, combined with Kathleen's inherently seductive nature, making her appear extremely alluring and deserving of endless affection.
Louie coughed forcefully. Now wasn't the time to take advantage of the situation; he was afraid Kathleen might fall asleep, and all his efforts tonight would be in vain. He lightly patted Kathleen's tender and slender thigh, saying, "I'm a fool and a pervert. Be careful; I might take advantage of you right now."
Kathleen chuckled softly, "I know you're a pervert, but I'm not afraid of you." Kathleen had a confident look that seemed to say, "I've got you figured out." She propped herself up with one hand on the sandy ground, supporting her upper body and sitting up.
Louie saw Kathleen sit up again and quickly reached out to support her. After making sure she was stable, he mumbled to himself, "I'm just wondering where the bombs come from. Trying to bring bombs from outside is difficult. The most reliable method is to buy raw materials locally. I just can't believe that a big city like Sradarc doesn't have a place selling bomb-making materials. If you can find the raw materials and look up bomb-making knowledge online, anyone can make it. Why does it have to be a bomb expert?"
The unintentional words of Louie found a place in Kathleen's heart. Louie, speaking to himself, unknowingly left a lasting impression on Kathleen. Kathleen, who was now more awake from the alcohol, grabbed Louie's shoulder and asked urgently, "Louie, what did you just say? Repeat it again."
