Felix‘s p.o.v I dialed Lee‘s line with a trembling hand. I glanced at Aurora before stepping out of the room. “Felix.” Lee‘s voice answered.
I moved the phone to my ear then sighed softly. “You need to make....” “A portal to where you are right?. Chase called me a few minutes ago and Informed me about everything going on, give me a few hours to locate you. I also need to brew a herb that will make the poison stay dormant for as long as it can, my spells are amazing but they won‘t be of much help without the herb I have to brew.” He answered.
“Look Lee, we don‘t have hours but an hour as of now.” I said seriously.
“I‘m sorry Felix, I can‘t make it in an hour. If you had said two hours It would have been possible. The herb I have to brew needs time.” He answered as I furiously crushed the cell phone in my hand.
What the fuck was I to tell the alpha Queen In there. “Sorry Aurora, my friend couldn‘t help you?”
No, she would sink her venomous teeth in me.
This was a huge headache!. Vampires knew how a Werewolf bite was hard to cure. In their saliva was a toxic enzyme that was dangerous to our kind. When left untreated it was capable of killing.
Me being a pure breed came as a blessing and a shock to most. Not only were pure breeds rare, it was unheard of having vampires give birth, it was like a goddamn myth to many beings. But here I was, a living proof born from two elder vampires. Besides having twice as advanced abilities as my own kind, a werewolf bite had no effect on me, be it alpha or beta. The only bite that was lethal to me was that of an alpha King or Queen.
Yes, they did exist but they too were rare as I was and mostly unheard of.
An alpha king or queen was the very last stage of a Werewolf rank. They were what we called an alpha of all alphas. All Werewolf packs and ranks were below them because they were the ultimate Werewolf. Stronger, faster, and Sharper. Their built was bigger than an alpha and their aura and pheromones had a strong effect on many supernatural beings. Besides other hidden abilities, they were capable of paralyzing their prey with one bite. Multiple serious bites instantly resulted in death. As much as an alpha ruled a pack and at times the whole country, an alpha king or queen ruled territories. By that, I mean lands, countries, and many more. They were usually treated as royalty and they chose to marry in their rank to preserve their bloodline from dying or going down.
Chanter Re
And right in there was an alpha queen. How could I not tell what she truly was!. I was terrified upon seeing her eyes. Dark red pupil with a black ring around it.
I fucking read it in a book a lot of times but never had I ever come across one!.
“Felix!” Chase‘s voice came through. I rushed to where he was and found him standing at the entrance of the pack house breathless. “Chase, you shouldn‘t have come here, I was wrong to ask you. This place is dangerous for a hu.…”
“Where is Amelia?” He asked.
“In the basement, but I wouldn‘t advise you to go in there. She‘s not as you know her.” I pointed out.
“I know. She‘s an alpha queen.” He responded then rushed past me.
I stood still for a second in silence trying to swallow everything that was going on.
Chase was human, how the hell did he find me?.
Then I asked him to find a way to find me because I believed he would drive with Amelia who would easily direct him.
“Wait, how the fuck do you know that she‘s an alpha queen!” I screamed then rushed back to the basement.
I stopped at the entrance with widened eyes.
He was kneeling next to Ian with closed eyes, both his hands were pressed at the side of his head and a white glow of light was being emitted. Aurora was standing looking down at him calmly.
What the fuck was I seeing!. Chase was human. He was a fucking human!.
“What the fuck is going on here?” I asked in a low voice.
“The fairy is passing some of his energy force to lan to make sure the poison holds off for more than an hour.” Aurora answered. “F.fa.. fairy?” I asked in a cracked voice.
“Yes.” She answered.
I powerless took a few steps closer and stood next to Aurora.
“It‘s done, this will give Lee enough time to brew the herb into perfection.” Chase said when he opened his eyes.
“Thank you.” Aurora said softly.
“I did nothing.” He answered, then stood up and stumbled.
I found myself at his side helping him to balance on me.
He looked at me and then smiled forcefully.
“I know I owe you an explanation over everything, but right now I can‘t. I feel very weak and my energy force is at its weakest.” He whispered.
I rolled my eyes and lifted him in bridal style. “No Felix. You can‘t lift me like that, I’m a man!” He exclaimed as I ignored him and walked ahead. “Just stay still because I’m trying to control the anger I feel towards you right now.” I whispered as I took the stairs,
He sighed loudly and stayed still,
To say I was angry would be too good to be true, I was furious with him and every shit that was going on at the moment!
How could he look into my eyes everyday and pretend to be human when he wasn‘t. Was he even the only child who had no siblings as he had told me when I first met him?. Or was it all a lie made to lower my guard down?.
I walked into an open bedroom and threw him on the bed roughly. I turned to go out when the door instantly closed by itself. I turned and faced him with a frown. “You can‘t leave without hearing me out. If you do, I‘m afraid I will never see you again.” He said seriously. I sighed then walked to the side of the bed and sat down.
“You only have ten minutes.” I said and meant it.
