Chapter 11 Chapter 11

Chapter 11 Chapter 11
Amira's POV

“Judy! Judy!”

“Judy!” This time I didn’t whisper. If she was in trouble, soft calls wouldn’t help.

I yelled her name, eyes sweeping every shadowed corner of the house.

Maybe it was my shouting, or maybe it was fate, but Lily appeared out of nowhere.

I didn’t care how she’d come. She rarely showed herself, and right now that didn’t matter.

I ran to her and grabbed her sleeve. “Have you seen Judy? She’s been missing for an hour.”

Only then did I notice how frantic I sounded. I hadn’t realized how much I’d come to rely on Judy, she was the only person who’d spoken to me in this place.

“Calm down,” Lily said, voice steady and controlled.

Her calm snapped something in me; I forced my breathing to slow.

“Please, where is she?” I asked, trying to keep my voice even.

“She’s gone,” Lily answered simply.

“Gone?” I echoed, confused.

“She resigned this morning,” she said.

I couldn’t hold it in. “What? Judy resigned? That’s impossible.” My head shook in disbelief.

Lily said nothing more. Instead, she handed me a paper. My throat tightened when I read it.

It was Judy’s resignation letter, dated today.

I stared at the page, numb. “No way. I want to see her. Yesterday we were laughing. Why would she leave?”

“You asked for her to be your personal maid,” Lily said evenly. “If she had a problem, she should have told me.”

Words tumbled out of me until my legs grew weak and I gripped the stair rail to stay upright.

Lily finally spoke, voice flat. “I don’t know what else to say.”

Anger flared. She’d given me the letter, yet pretended she had no more to explain.

I read the resignation again and felt something off. At the bottom, a signature, Alpha Santiago’s name. He had signed to accept it.

It made no sense. Judy had been fine yesterday. Now she was gone.

“Why is his signature on this? Shouldn’t it be yours?” I asked, looking at Lily. She was the head attendant, after all.

“Alpha Santiago chose to sign it himself. I couldn’t refuse,” she replied.

I wanted to snap at her. “That’s not what I’m asking. You know what I mean, but you won’t answer.”

“Since you already know, why ask?” she shot back.

Her detached, cool response left me aching with frustration and helplessness. I’d hoped she might help, but her shrug only made me want to shake the truth out of her, and I didn’t dare.

“Forget it. Just tell me where he is,” I said, referring to Santiago.

He had signed those papers far too easily, and I refused to believe he didn’t owe me at least an explanation.

To my surprise, Lily nodded right away. “He’s at the main building. They just got back from their trip this morning,” she said casually.

My brows lifted slightly. She gave up his location so quickly, it almost felt suspicious. Didn’t she realize I might be heading there to confront him?

Well, I’d think about that later. For now, I just nodded and rushed toward the door.

My heart was pounding hard, and I could feel the tension all over my face as I started running.

From the time I’d stayed here, I’d learned that the main building was a completely separate area. Only the triplets lived and dined there. So that other day when we all ate at the same tabl, I still couldn’t figure out why. I didn’t even know what had brought them there in the first place.

By the time I reached the building’s entrance, I was panting heavily. I bent forward slightly, resting my hands on my knees as I tried to catch my breath.

Then, I froze.

Even without stepping inside, I could already sense the overwhelming aura coming from within. And right there, guarding the entrance, stood the gamma warriors, their faces stern and unreadable, exactly as I remembered them from before.

My earlier confidence began to crumble. How on earth was I supposed to get in with these intimidating men blocking the way? Maybe I shouldn’t have rushed here alone. If I’d waited for Lily, I could have just followed her inside without any problem.

Biting my lower lip, I gave them a small, awkward wave, but not a single one responded.

“Cough, cough,” I muttered, stepping a little closer to one of them and clearing my throat softly.

My fingers fidgeted in my hair as I scratched at my scalp, too nervous to look him directly in the eyes.

“Um, I… I want to see the triplets. Can I go in for a few minutes?” My voice trembled so much it was almost embarrassing.

Oh, Amira, seriously? Why are you shaking like a leaf? You look terrified, it’s obvious to everyone.

“You may,” one of the gammas said after a quick glance in my direction.

“I…” The words caught in my throat.

Wait, did he just… agree? That easily? Was it really that simple to see them?

“Are you sure?” I asked again, blinking in disbelief.

If I went in and got thrown out, it would be beyond humiliating. I’d rather make sure first.

“Aren’t you our next Luna?” he asked, his tone calm but firm.

That one sentence erased every bit of hesitation I had. There it was again, that title. It wasn’t just Lily who believed it; apparently, even the gammas did too.

I didn’t bother saying anything else. I just nodded quickly and hurried inside.

Once I stepped into the main building, I didn’t waste time looking around. My focus was on one thing only, finding Santiago. That man was definitely behind Judy’s sudden resignation. I was sure of it.

At first, when Lily told me about Judy leaving, I hadn’t suspected Santiago. But the more I thought about it, the more it made sense. Why else would she resign so abruptly?

Still, the question lingered, why would he do something like that?

I searched through the living room, checking every corner, but there was no sign of him anywhere.

Didn’t Lily say they’d returned this morning? And the signature on those papers, dated today, proved he was back.

So where was he? Lily couldn’t have lied to me.

I remained downstairs, but even after waiting for quite some time, there was still no trace of Santiago anywhere. I wanted to keep waiting a little longer, but my patience was already wearing thin.

The constant worry about Judy was pounding in my head, each thought tightening like a band around my skull. I tried to shake it off, but the ache only grew worse.

Finally, when I couldn’t bear it any longer, my body moved on its own, my feet taking slow, restless steps toward the staircase. Before I knew it, I was already climbing upstairs, unable to stop myself.

I leaned closer and peeked through the keyhole of every door I passed, but there was still no sign of Santiago anywhere. After checking almost all the rooms, exhaustion finally hit me, and I sank to the floor, completely drained.

I sat there for a few minutes, breathing heavily, trying to regain some strength. When I finally did, I forced myself to keep going. The room where I had first seen them wasn’t even in this main building, and since I barely knew anything about the triplets, I had no idea which room belonged to whom. All I could do was keep searching blindly.

Eventually, I reached the far end of the corridor. I wasn’t particularly interested in checking the last room, it probably looked just like the others, but I still found myself walking toward it anyway.

Something felt strange with each step I took. Then, out of nowhere, I heard faint, muffled sounds coming from behind the door.

At first, I thought I was imagining things, but the sounds grew clearer. Soft moans.

I froze.

Curiosity got the best of me, and for a brief moment, I completely forgot about Santiago.

“Ah, you’re so good. Take me all in,” a woman’s voice moaned from inside.

My entire face heated up instantly. My cheeks burned with embarrassment as the realization hit me like lightning.

And then, a deep, throaty groan followed, unmistakably male.

I stood there, paralyzed. That voice… it was so low and masculine that my stomach flipped. The longer I listened, the stronger my curiosity became.

But something felt off. It didn’t sound like there were only two people in there.

Before I could stop myself, my hand was already on the doorknob. Slowly, I turned it and pulled the door open just a crack. I didn’t go in, I only peeked through the small gap.

What I saw made my whole body stiffen.

The room was almost empty, except for a single table and chair. And in the middle of it…

A woman was on her knees, moving in rhythm with the men surrounding her. Her body swayed, her hands gripped them desperately, and the air was filled with raw, breathless sounds. One moment, she was using her mouth; the next, her body. Everything about what I saw was wild, shameless, and unreal.

And the men,

Santiago. Alex. Maximus.

All three of them.

I didn’t even realize the scream building in my throat until it tore out of me.

“Ahhhhhhh!”

My face went pale as I slapped both hands over my mouth, horror flooding every inch of me.

Their eyes snapped open immediately, turning toward the door.

And before I could even think, I spun around and bolted down the stairs, panic crashing through me like a wave.

All I could hear was the pounding of my own heartbeat and the echo of what I’d just seen.
