Chapter 74 SEVENTY-FOUR
Raven carried Brienne to their bedroom after they showered together. He carefully laid her down on the soft mattress, his eyes filled with admiration as he gazed at her. She was breathtaking—her beautiful face, her glowing skin, and most of all, the gentle curve of her belly, where their child was growing.
"Don't..." Brienne whispered, reaching for the blanket to cover herself. "I look ugly," she added. Raven immediately stopped her, his grip gentle yet firm.
"You're not," he said, his voice unwavering. "You're fucking gorgeous," he added.
Brienne blushed at his words. Lately, as her belly grew, she had become more conscious of the changes in her body. She had gained weight, outgrown her clothes, and noticed dark spots appearing on her skin. There were moments when she stood in front of the mirror and cried, overwhelmed by the transformation. But she never blamed their child—every change was a sign of the life she was nurturing inside her.
Hearing Raven’s words, full of love and admiration, made her heart swell with happiness. She looked into his eyes and saw nothing but pure adoration, making her feel beautiful in a way she hadn’t in a long time.
"Really? You're not saying that to appease me?" she said, lips pouting. Raven couldn't help himself and kissed Brienne's luscious lips.
"You're gorgeous, and I love every inch of your body. It's natural that you have undergone changes because our child is growing in your belly, but my love for you will remain constant, darling," Raven said, kissing the back of her hand.
"I love you," Raven said.
"I love you too," Brienne replied.
Still naked, Raven climbed onto the bed and leaned in, capturing Brienne’s lips in a deep, lingering kiss. The warmth of his touch sent a shiver down her spine, and she instinctively wrapped her arms around his neck, pulling him closer to her.
Their lips moved in perfect sync, slow and tender, as if savoring every second. Raven’s hand traced gentle patterns along her side, his touch featherlight yet filled with devotion. Brienne melted into him, feeling the steady rhythm of his heartbeat against her own.
"Mine," Raven whispered as he trailed kisses from her neck down to her cleavage. One of the changes Raven noticed during Brienne's pregnancy was her breasts becoming fuller and plumper, and he was going crazy about it, but he doesn't want to freak Brienne out.
Raven carefully licked her nipples, eliciting a moan from Brienne.
"Damn it," Raven cursed, feeling his dick stand once more.
"Do it," Brienne whispered. "It's alright," she added. Brienne asked her doctor about this, although it's been quite a long time since her last visit; she remembered it clearly.
"I'll be gentle," Raven said as he continued worshipping Brienne's body like a goddess.
Raven is sucking Brienne's boob while gently squeezing the other one..
"Ahhh... Raven..." Brienne moaned, biting her bottom lip. The ecstasy she was feeling was beyond the clouds.
"Fck," Raven cursed. Seeing Brienne enjoying it making it harder for him to control. He spread her legs and positioned himself. Slowly, he inserted his dick into hers and couldn't help but moan.
"Ahhhh, fcking good," Raven said and continued to thrust, making sure Brienne wasn't hurting and was feeling the pleasure.
"R-Rave....Ohhhhh....Pleasee."
"What is it, darling?" Raven asked. "What is it that you want?" he added.
"Please... Deeper...." she said. Raven grinned and kissed her belly.
"Understood, darling," he said and thrust in deeper. Her eyes rolled back while her hips moved to match Raven's pace.
The villa was filled with their moans and groans. Their eyes met, and for a moment, everything else faded away. It was just them—two souls connected in love, passion, and an unbreakable bond. He cupped her face, brushing his thumb across her lips before capturing them in a deep, longing kiss.
"I'm coming," he said.
"M-Me too," Brienne answered, and with a hard thrust, he came inside her, filling her up.
Raven laid beside Brienne panting heavily. Brienne snuggled close to him, and he kissed her forehead.
"Thank you," he whispered. "I didn't hurt you, did I?" he added worriedly and stared at her. Brienne smiled and traced Raven's face with her finger.
"You did not," she answered.
"I love you," he whispered sincerely.
"I love you too," Brienne whispered back. She no longer felt embarrassed about expressing her feelings because Raven had shown her what it truly meant to be loved. He made her feel cherished, valued, and safe—a love she had always deserved. And now, it was only right to give that love back to him.
Morning came, and Brienne woke up to the delicious aroma of food filling the air. She slowly opened her eyes, stretching as she glanced around the room. Noticing that Raven wasn’t beside her, she reached for her robe and slipped it on before stepping out of the bedroom.
As she walked into the kitchen, she found Raven standing by the stove, focused on preparing their breakfast. The sight of him cooking for her warmed her heart.
"Good morning, beautiful," Raven greeted with a smile before walking over to her. He cupped her face gently and pressed a soft kiss on her lips, making her morning even sweeter.
"Good morning," she said with a smile. "What are you making?"
"Pancakes, bacon, and eggs. Is that okay with you?" he asked. "We also have some leftovers from yesterday, and I reheated them in case you’d like some."
"I’ll have the bacon and eggs, please," she replied. She silently thanked God that her morning sickness had finally eased, allowing her to eat without feeling nauseous.
Raven plated her food and placed it in front of her before sitting beside her.
"I don’t want this to end," she whispered, almost selfishly. Everything felt so perfect that the thought of their date coming to an end saddened her. But she knew the reality—Raven was the Alpha of the pack. He couldn’t just disappear; he had responsibilities to uphold.
"I’m sorry, darling," Raven said softly, running his fingers through her hair. "But don’t worry, we’ll do this again," he added. Brienne lowered her head, feeling a bit guilty.
"No, I’m sorry for saying that. I know you have duties back in the pack, and I shouldn’t have—"
"Hey," he gently lifted her chin, meeting her eyes. "I totally understand how you feel. How about this..." He paused, thinking for a moment. "Twice a month, we’ll set aside time for a date like this. Just the two of us, no responsibilities, no interruptions. We can do anything you want," he added. Brienne’s heart swelled with love.
"Really?"
"Really," Raven confirmed, giving her a reassuring smile.
After finishing breakfast, Brienne and Raven packed their things, preparing to return home. The peaceful getaway had been perfect, but it was time to face their responsibilities.
The drive back to Crescent Stone Pack was quiet and comforting. Brienne rested against Raven, his hand gently holding hers. As they neared the packhouse, a familiar warmth filled her heart.
Upon arrival, they were greeted by Ravena and Cecil. Brienne smiled, feeling truly welcomed. This place, once unfamiliar, had become her home.
