Chapter 60 SIXTY

Chapter 60 SIXTY
Raven stepped out of the car after arriving near Brienne's location, his hand clenched into a fist, ready to transform. As soon as the warrior they sent returned with news, they wasted no time and prepared everything necessary for rescuing Brienne.
Although a few Elders opposed the plan, Raven, supported by his father, sister, beta, and warriors, chose to defy their orders. The Alpha's family had already accepted Brienne as one of their own, recognizing her as Raven's mate and the mother of his unborn child. There was no way they could sit idly by while both Brienne and the baby were in danger.
"Raven," Arthur said and grabbed Raven's arm. He decided to accompany Raven, leaving Ravena and his wife, Cecil, behind in the pack. "We will save her," he added. Raven nodded his head.
"All warriors in place?" Arthur asked through the link. Each of the warriors' assigned leaders answered Arthur. They circled the place, making sure no one would escape when they attacked.
"We're all set," Arthur said with a determined tone, his eyes briefly meeting Carter’s. Without hesitation, Carter gave Raven a curt nod, signaling their readiness.
Moments later, their transformation began. The sound of bones snapping and reshaping echoed through the air as fur rapidly sprouted from their skin, enveloping their human forms. Within seconds, they had fully shifted into their wolf forms, their eyes gleaming.
"Let's go. Leave Jasper alive," Raven growled through the link, his voice laced with unyielding rage. "I will kill that bstard myself," he added.
Without wasting another moment, they charged toward the house. The rogues immediately noticed them, and the battle began.
Inside the house, Brienne heard the loud howling and snarling of wolves outside her locked room. Her heart was beating hard in her chest, fear rising with every sound. Panic filled her mind. Was this the day she would die?
Outside, Raven fought with all his strength. The rogue wolf attacked him, but Raven’s anger was too great. He ripped the beast apart without mercy. His mind was set on one thing—Brienne. He had to see her alive. If something happened to her, there would be no forgiveness. He would make Jasper pay, even if it meant dragging him to hell.
Raven’s rage was fierce. Rogues who crossed his path were killed without mercy. But then he suddenly stopped. He looked at the wolf standing near the entrance of the house, as if guarding it. It was huge—not as huge as him—but he knew immediately that it was Jasper, the man responsible for this mess. Raven snarled, baring his sharp canines, and Jasper did the same. It was a fight between two Alphas.
Jasper attacked first, lunging at Raven and aiming for his neck, but Raven wasn’t going to let him win. He dodged and leaped onto Jasper’s back, sinking his canines into his flesh, making Jasper scream in pain. Jasper immediately shook Raven off and growled. Raven growled back, his anger intensifying. Had he known that Jasper would cause trouble today, he would have taken his life as soon as he realized he was nothing but trouble.
Jasper circled Raven, his movements slow and calculated, trying to assert his dominance in the fight. His piercing gaze never left Raven, a silent challenge in his eyes. But Raven wasn’t intimidated. He stood firm, his muscles tense and ready, prepared for the attack.
And then it happened. Jasper lunged, and they clashed in midair, their sharp claws aiming for each other’s throats. The sound of snapping jaws and ripping claws filled the air. They landed heavily on the ground, rolling and fighting for control. Dust and dirt scattered around them as their fierce battle continued.
Jasper managed to rake his claws across Raven’s chest, leaving deep, bloody marks. Pain rippled through Raven’s body, but he didn’t flinch. The injury only fueled his determination to kill Jasper and rescue Brienne. With a snarl, he pressed on, his assault on Jasper becoming more relentless. The warriors of the Crescent Stone pack stood, watching their Alpha with both fear and admiration as he fought Jasper. A few minutes later, Raven stepped forward with a bloodied body, and the warriors cheered so loudly as the victor emerged.
Raven howled, followed by his warriors. He quickly transformed back to his human form and went inside the house, searching for Brienne in every room.
"Darling?! Where are you?!" he called and opened the last room in hopes that he could find Brienne, and he did. There Raven saw Brienne sitting on the chair, hands tied behind her back. Brienne slowly lifted her head and sobbed when she saw Raven.
"R-Raven..." Raven ran towards her and embraced her. "Raven...W-Why were you late? I was so scared," she added, stuttering as her tears streamed down her eyes.
"I'm sorry, I'm so sorry, darling," Raven said and kissed the top of her head. He undid her tie and kneeled in front of her.
"Are you alright? Did he hurt you?" Raven asked, his voice laced with concern as he carefully inspected Brienne. Brienne sniffled and nodded weakly.
"A little... but earlier, he tried to force himself on me," she whispered, tears streaming down her face.
Raven's jaw tightened, and he clenched his fists, fury radiating from him. He should have torn Jasper to shreds for touching his woman.
"You'll never see Jasper again," he growled, his voice low and dangerous.
"He won't touch you or hurt you anymore because I killed that bastard." His eyes burned with anger, but his tone suddenly softened. "Let's go home, darling," he added. Brienne nodded quietly.
Without hesitation, Raven scooped her up into his arms, holding her close. She wrapped her arms around his neck, resting her head on his shoulder and closing her eyes, seeking comfort in his strength. Raven kissed her forehead and headed out of the house.
Outside, Raven's warriors and his father stood waiting. Raven strode out of the house, his expression hard and resolute.
"Burn everything," he commanded, his voice sharp and unwavering. "Leave Jasper's body. We'll send it back to the Red Moon Pack as a message. I am declaring war on Derrick," he added.
His father, standing tall and proud, met his gaze and nodded in agreement. Raven was the Alpha of the Crescent Stone Pack, and his decision was final. It was time to end this feud once and for all.
