Chapter 91 Murderer

Chapter 91 Murderer
Calista's pov

As I was utilizing my palm to rub my stomach and come down from the pain that was there I began to realize that Bella had actually never told me when she was leaving before and she had even added the fact that her child was at home as if I had asked her for that detail.

Normally she didn't tell me where she went or how she went there or when she was coming back she didn't even tell my husband at all she would just bounce out of the house.

She had a habit of returning at the most ungodly hours and more often than not she was usually drunk and even though we were behind the doors of our bedroom you would know about this because she will be banging against any possible surface that will give her the noise that she desired to disturb us in our sleep it was like her way of retaliating against me for sharing the bed with my husband and pushing her aside.

We eventually had to secretly get a soundproof door so she could practically use her body to hit every piece of furniture in the mansion and even smoke herself against everyone and we wouldn't hear a single peep which was quite a relief.

So while she was busy doing a little less than just harming herself, my husband and I were just wrapped in each other's arms enjoying the warmth of each other's bodies. I couldn't imagine how far I would have been able to get if my husband had actually related. I decided not to defend myself anymore.

But back then I also tried to defend him but he had almost recoiled immediately when they threatened him too much.

He was not completely confident of himself and as such he was always there to defend me no matter how badly his parents treated me and he was always telling them that they should behave themselves of course they would only pretend to be nice to me from a surface-level when he was around and then immediately become divisions people as they were when they knew that he wasn't around.

They were so ridiculously fake that is actually twisted my stomach more than the egg that was running through it apparently decided to take some painkillers in order to reduce the pain that was rumbling through my stomach but as I was heading over to the cupboard where the drugs were being kept in case of an case like this I noticed something drugs were scattered all over the place and it was a maid that was responsible for this.

Actually, it wasn't a maid, when I took a closer look it was actually the nanny that took care of Oliver my heart immediately began to race hard if anything happens to the baby.

"What are you looking for, did something happen to Olive?" I asked her with concern in my voice and her head snapped over to me. I could see the fear that was growing inside of them. My adoptive sister probably had told her not to have anything to do with me. That will explain how she always intensely avoided me. I guess whenever I tried to look at her to tell her something or ask her about something.

Knowing Bella she had probably used her job as leverage against a woman saying that she was going to have her fired if she didn't do exactly what she wanted.

"Don't worry about anything I'll just help you look and when we find the drug we can take care of everything else..."

She looked at me with beady eyes and sweat dripping down her forehead for a couple of seconds before she told me what was happening foams have suddenly begun to come out from the toddler's mouth it was so bad that his entire body was vibrating on the bed where they made have left him to get a drug that would help him.

Finally, she agreed for me to help her, and I did so making sure not to be noticed by those people that Bella had probably left behind it will still keep watching me because I was sure that some maids were definitely looking at me and reporting back news to her I went over with the Oliver to the room and helped her take care of the baby to the foams were no longer coming out of his mouth and then gave him the drugs that he needed to calm down completely

"What exactly did he eat?" I asked the maid but she immediately started avoiding my glare as if we had not been working together literally two minutes ago.

"Look I don't want to be ungrateful anything," she said her voice still troubling it always trembles whenever she spoke as if she was afraid as if every moment that she spent it was this fear that was proud of her back and clinging to her severely that she couldn't let go of

I knew that she was trying not to be caught by her mistress but this was a little too much the way she practically or more or less kicked me out of Oliver's room saying that.

There was no need to think about it anymore. I was just glad that nothing had happened to the boy. My husband would have been so devastated by it and even I would have also been such as well.

It was as if the panic of the child had made me to forget my own stomach ache and now the nanny had thrown all of the drugs about so I didn't even know which one I was supposed to take for my stomach ache I decided that maybe it was best to call the family doctor then I wondered if it would not come off as strange

I bit my bottom lip in frustration, just how much more was I supposed to take before all of this would finally be over before I would have to leave this battlefield and I wouldn't have to fight so viciously everyday anymore?

It was indeed getting so tiring everything I did I would have to worry about how the families would react to it.

It wasn't as if I cared or anything like that, but it was becoming so bothersome to be nagged for everything I do, they were just acting like flies that were buzzing in my ear I'm trying to make me forget my sanity it wasn't as if I actually cared about the opinion but the fact that they were so desperate for me to care and to listen to everything that they had to say was what was really driving me out of my mind.

I had been so focused on the wilderness of the nanny that I had not even when able to give myself some foresight on what was going to happen when my nasty mother-in-law showed up, the moment she saw me she immediately went off like somebody that are already really has all of her lines before she came here and with the way she spoke without managing to break or suspecting that maybe she actually did that before she came to invade my space.

She couldn't care less that I was having a stomachache and I was practically rolling on the floor when she found me. In fact she said that I deserved it or tried to steal another woman's husband when I was trying to protect my own.

Just then when it was finally over for the day the nanny came down I said that there was something that she had to tell her concerning her grandchild.

I had assumed that maybe it was about the sudden convulsion that the child had experienced and the foams that have been coming out of his mouth, but what I did not expect was my mother-in-law stabbing her finger at me and saying.

"What did you do to my grandson? You murderer!"
