Chapter 85 Falling into place

Chapter 85 Falling into place
Calista's POV

So when all of the l had gone and we were the only ones left in the house grey lead them over to the dining room with me by his side and by that time that I was almost passed out, I was beginning to feel pity for her child what kind of childhood was that old thing having with this kind of pathetic model of a mother?

We soon arrived at the dining table and immediately I was about to take my seat. Bella rushed over and tried to take it from me but this ended up with her just colliding with the furniture and stumbling down to the ground. Grey just looked at her and then looked at her mother.

"Are you going to help her get her up or just leave her down there?"

His words left both his parents and my adoptive once stored in utter silence they had probably been used to him always tolerating rubbish like it is from her all the time and the fact that he was not rushing over to help her with something that they had probably invite into him to be doing for her all the time but not anymore so many things were going to change and I know that so many of them were going to make them so unhappy with me which was something I didn't care about either just like how my husband didn't care if Bella had practically hurt herself by shoving her way into that chair

My mother-in-law was the one who was closest to her and so she helped her to get up and planted her in another seat dragging her body as if it was a ragdoll because she was almost completely passed out and when we had settled that little issue, it was finally time to talk about The Big issue well it wasn't really going to be much of a talk.

But my husband and I had already concluded what we wanted to do so all we were going to do right now was just tell them that it was our decision and whether or not they accepted it was their problem.

It was my husband's father that spoke first getting up to his feet and staring squarely at me it was never going to stop being funny how they expected me to curl up into a Shell as I had one before so much so that is hard factory become a reflex for me in the past whenever I was faced with danger to crawl into my invisible hardened exterior for protection against their hatred but now I have nothing to be afraid of and I was aware of that so I stayed right back at my Father-in-Law ready for him to say the worst.

He was obviously startled, I can't believe he actually thought that he was going to see the same girl that he had in five years ago and she would have fallen for the same tricks that he had used on her before like people cruel people changed but I guess they didn't so they obviously assumed that everyone else remained the same.

I crossed my fingers together and looked at them without drinking my eyes, speaking in a soft calm but powerful voice that vibrated through my vocal cords.

"I have been trying to take my place as the Queen Luna, and I'm sure that none of you are going to be happy about this but you can't keep your grievances to yourself and I would appreciate that deeply,"

I wasn't supposed to enjoy the looks on their faces one that seemed like absolute horror with how I was speaking to them but I ended up enjoying it anyways as all of them were locked on to their seats as if somebody had placed glue on them before they sat down then finally it was my husband's mother that recovered first from this shock to speak.

"I see that you have totally lost your mind," she spoke trying to sound confident but I could hear her voice shaking like an unstable wooden structure that was about to collapse.

"... But in case you need somebody to remind you I will be the one you left this marriage years ago like the barren witch that you were carrying away your bad luc-"

Her words were immediately hooked up in her throat when my twins came running into the dining room with their stuffed animals in their arms and then they froze when they saw the unfamiliar people but being quite friendly children they said hi to them before passing by and coming over to me and their father were sitting close to each other.

"Mummy mummy!" Taylor said enthusiastically.

"Tommy said that there's a monster in our closet! That he saw it in his dream!"

"Hey, I said it was a joke!"

And so I ignored my anger to take care of my children and told them along with their father by my side that there was no monster in their closet and they should be back today since it was past their curfew.

By the time they left the jaws of all of my annoying guest wear on the floor as they were once again stoned into speechlessness.

"What happened I thought you were leaving on the topic of me being barren?"

I said in a mocking voice and then this time it was Mrs. Walters that spoke. I had wondered what had happened with Mr. Walters but then I remembered that he was not exactly the most social man ever and he had probably become less social over the years.

"... Don't think that you are deceiving anyone you... anybody can see that those kids are not even his!"

She said shamelessly while my kids had a very striking resemblance to their father, but I wasn't surprised there was nothing that this woman would not be stupid I wanted to in order to get her way and I was already prepared for this kind of situation.

"Then there is only one way to settle this we will have a DNA test,"

"Sweetheart, we don't need a DNA test. I know that those are my children, we don't have to prove anything to them..."

I noted with him in complete agreement my hands wrapping up in his.

"I know that you believe it and I'm not really doing it for them, I'm doing it for myself so that there will be no doubt that my children are really yours as well..."

At this time all the drinking that Bella had done to her had completely passed out, and she was now drooling on the table which was quite disgusting. We might even have to change it at this point.

"Fine then," Mr. Fernidad said, still clearly shaken.

"We are going to have that DNA test and when it comes out negative you will find your way out of this house honey let's go."

His wife looked as if she had been lost in a dream and she had to physically shake a little bit for her to wake up and she's playing her eyes at him with confusion unable to say a word he held her by her shoulders and pulled her up from the chair and let her outside as if she could no longer see or walk by herself.

I have been so focused on them that I had not noticed when Mrs. Walters had sneaked out which has probably been her intention in the first place in order to avoid shame, it was obvious that that's the any test was just for stalling purposes and just looking at his children somebody will know that they belonged to my husband with his that was if they had eyes that stay used without denial.

It was all falling into place.
