Chapter Seventy-Eight: Ready.

SHILOH let out a loud howl that echoed around the throne room. Alistair was happy to see that Shiloh is being like this. He’s enjoying the way Shiloh tries to fight even though she knows that she’s nothing against him!

Shiloh quickly attacked him but Alistair disappeared right in front of her. That’s what happens in the next minutes of their fight. Shiloh was trying to attack Alistair but she couldn’t even touch him because of her disappearance. He was so fast that she couldn’t see her!

“You’re too weak, Shiloh! You’re nothing to me!” Alistair let out a loud laugh.

He was very entertained by Shiloh. Truth was, he was just trying to see her strength. He wanted to see how much she would improve once she became a hybrid. Shiloh is Queen Luna and he knows that she has obtained something from the King Alpha.

Shiloh's attacks stopped.

Alistair stood behind her. He can sense that she’s exhausted. His brow arched when Shiloh didn't move for a while.

“Are you trying to gather your strength?” he asked.

But Shiloh didn't move. She remained there. So he got curious. He was about to walk towards her when she immediately attacked him!

He wasn't able to move when Shiloh bite him on his shoulder. She took it as an advantage to damage him. Striking a scratch, Alistair wouldn’t be able to escape from that. She continued attacking her until Alistair was able to escape her attack.

He was panting, drops of blood spread around the ground.

“I didn’t know that you’re strategical,” he laughs. “Enough with the play, My Queen!”

Alistair disappeared in front of her. Then in a blink of an eye, Shiloh was thrown into the wall. Her eyes widened as he continued choking her.

His face appeared right in front of her eyes. A sly smirk flashed on his lips.

“You’re nothing, Shiloh. In order to be stronger, you have to trust me.”

He opened his mouth widely, flashing his long and sharp fangs. Shiloh wasn’t able to escape this time. Even though she tried, Alistair bite her in the neck.

As her eyes widened, she felt how he sucked on her blood… but at the same time, there was a warm liquid getting inside her veins. Which is making her feel dizzy. Her heartbeat was beating so fast that she wasn’t hearing anything aside from it.

“Sleep well, Shiloh. The moment you wake up, you’ll never be the same again.”

Alistair released her grip on her neck. Shiloh dropped to the ground as she turned back to her human form. Naked on the cold ground, her body convulsed. It was terrifying, the memories in her head are slowly fading away as her world spin around.

She screamed in pain! And as the pain quickly fade away, she fainted.

ANOTHER day passed and Loki could finally walk. That’s when he started to plan out everything that they needed to do. They have no time to buy time. He was planning to do the attack the next day.

Elder Damon died because of his sacrifice for their country, he is willing to die too. No matter what happens, Alistair must go back to his coffin.

“I’ve already talked to humans,” Harry said. “They will cover the cave with silver metal. Once they have already covered it, we will enter their boundary.”

Loki nodded. “Thank you. We have to not be afraid of that silver. It’s not as if it will kill us. Vampires are allergic to it. They won’t be able to remove the cover.”

“Yes, that’s the reason why I chose silver to cover it.”

Everything was planned out well. The next day, about ten human soldiers are now geared up. They are inside their battle car, with a big metal cover that was the size of the cave’s opening. Thankfully, it wasn’t that big. He sent people to check the size of the cave, those who are good at estimating size.

The four Alphas were now ready to fight. Eight pack warrior per Alpha. While Beta Lincoln has to stay in the palace to take care of it. Just like the other Betas of each pack.

“Are you all ready?” King Alpha Loki asked.

“Yes, King Alpha!”

He nodded. “Good, come on!”

They already start traveling to the forest to where the opening inside of the vampires’ town is. It is in Saumoure.

It was a smooth journey until they finally arrived. They are 15 kilometers away from the cave, humans shoot the vampires with the guns they have with the silver bullet before they were able to cover the cave.

When the humans has already covered the cave and were just sealing it, the Alphas continued to the gate of Saumoure.

In front of a tall big gate, Loki looked up at the sky. It was so dark. From what he remembers, his father told him that Saumoure has never experienced summer in the last millennium. The cloud was dark, the surroundings are dry.

“This place was so gloomy…” Alpha Landon said. “I can’t believe they were able to live in this kind of place.”

Loki unlocked the gate and the bats flew away. If he wasn’t mistaken, one of them is a vampire who will go back to their lair to warn everyone, including Alistair.

“You know what you should do next,” Loki said.

They will part ways. Harry together with his pack warriors turned into their wolves to start roaming around. Landon continued walking inside as well as George. While Loki walked right in front of him.

He’s on the way to where Alistair is. He has to find him no matter what… but in the back of his mind, he wanted to find Shiloh first.

He wanted to know how she was… if she was fine…

As soon as he went inside their palace, his pack warriors turned into wolves. The vampires who are guarding the place attacked them.

The war has started.

“Alistair! Show yourself to me!” he shouted. Then he continued walking inside. Shoving each vampires who are trying to get in his way.

“Alistair!” he shouted again.

As he opened the large door, he saw Alistair standing there. Wearing his black cape, he turned his head to him and flashed a sly smile.

“Finally, you came!” he said. “Welcome to my palace, Loki Roosevelt. Are you ready to see My Queen?”
