Chapter 135 The Crown of the Cosmos

Chapter 135 The Crown of the Cosmos
The True Dark

The Prime Spire's grand balcony area experienced an extreme temperature decline that reached the point of complete air disappearance.

The Sovereign's obsidian boots made contact with Star-Metal stone which resulted in complete sound elimination of the distant battlefield that lay thousands of feet below. The space operated as an extreme vacuum that created an atmosphere of terror and dread.

I stayed on the parapet. I activated my final silver starlight power to teleport directly next to Kade on the balcony. My knees buckled under their weight as my body reached maximum exhaustion. Kade used his arm to stabilize me when I lost my balance.

The cosmic glass which attached to his chest produced light that created intense brightness through its fusion of three colors violet and gold and indigo. The Celestial Core emitted unrestrained energy through its raw power.

Kade declared that he was not Aethelgard while his voice created a space-filling sound that moved through the galaxy yet remained unaffected by the alien's nearby silence.

The Sovereign tilted his head. His skin appeared as flawless pale skin while his void-like black eyes remained fixed on the glowing galaxy present in Kade's chest.

The Aethelgard exist because they consume the decaying material which I leave behind according to the Sovereign's telepathic communication which transmitted through my brain. You battled against Earth-King immediately after you fought against a small shadow which escaped from Celestial custody while claiming to be a Void King. A parasite who acts as a god.

My face lost all its color.

The Shadow Regent. The Rift. The black ice that had nearly consumed Eurasia. The entire world-ending battle we experienced across multiple continents had been fought against only a lost piece of the being standing before us.

The Sovereign announced to the world his identity as the original dark. The Celestials built this planet as a prison to contain my existence because I am the entropy that terrified them. Surrender it, and I will unmake this world without pain.

Kade announced his refusal to accept defeat while his celestial eyes burned with intensity. I will achieve victory through my conquering actions.

The End of Reality

Kade remained patient while waiting for the Sovereign to make his first move.

He raised both of his hands to unleash the full, catastrophic power of the Celestial Core. Kade created a focused beam of creation magic that produced a dazzling effect through its deep violet and gold colors, which produced the energetic properties of a newly formed star.

Kade fired the beam at the Sovereign's main body.

The Sovereign remained completely intact after sustaining the attack while the attack failed to make him step back.

The man raised his white hand. The Celestial Core's complete power hit his palm yet immediately disappeared from existence. The force vanished from existence because it neither entered the system nor left.

The process of uncreation took place.

The Sovereign used creation power through his Architect powers while he walked forward, and balcony stones started to turn into grey ash from his weight. I exist to end all existence because I am anti-creation.

The Sovereign moved his hand forward with strength.

The man created a strong explosion of pure nothingness which began from his hand. The absence of color appeared as a complete absence of all things which made up reality.

Kade made an immediate response by raising his body to create a huge curved barrier that used Star-Metal and ended with celestial gravity.

The shield absorbed the anti-creation wave attack. The Firstborn iron, which had survived continental pressure for centuries, began to disintegrate into black dust.

Kade pushed his body, which created grave pain, while he used all of his power to keep the barrier intact, and his skin showed the violent brightness of his constellations.

Kade declared that they were destroying the shield, and his voice used cosmic harmony, which fought against the impossible weight of entropy. Elara, I can't hold him back!

The silver fractals that covered my hands appeared faint while they barely showed any signs of power. I burned all my energy through the cosmic storm fight to rescue the packs.

The feral Luna inside my soul refused to accept the dark when I looked at my Alpha.

I am the cosmos, I told myself as I shut my eyes and pushed through all the pain and exhaustion that exceeded all human limits.

The Unbreakable Bond

I activated my hands to produce fire. I activated my entire soul to produce fire.

The silver starlight returned to my body through an explosive force. The light moved through my veins to produce an extreme bright light which made my body act as a pure astral lightning beacon.
I made no attempt to ambush the Sovereign because I understood that my light power could not overcome his anti-creation defense.

I stood directly behind Kade as I tightly held his waist while my upper body touched his wide back.

Kade shouted to Elara about her current activity while the Sovereign attack created a loud vacuum noise.

I screamed my declaration of being his anchor while I used every ounce of my astral starlight to power him with my direct energy.

I did not transfer my magic to him. I combined my magic with his magic.

Silver photons from the cosmos entered Kade's bloodstream to travel along his skin's illuminated constellations before they forcefully struck the Celestial Core located in his chest.

The results of the incident created total destruction.

The World Engine processed astral magic through its system and achieved perfect magical harmony. The deep violet of Leo's Source magic, the cosmic gold of Kade's Celestial power, and the blinding silver of my astral lightning perfectly fused.

The strength of two gods created the power which could not be broken through the bond of Alpha and Luna.

Kade released a shout which caused the Earth itself to tremble beneath him.

He deactivated the protective barrier.

The Sovereign anti-creation wave attacked us while Kade used both hands to perform his soul-based energy attack.

A luminous pillar of three colors—violet, gold, and silver—struck the Sovereign's complete nothingness with violent force.

The universe paused for one brief instant. The surroundings developed visible cracks which made the air shatter like glass.

The void was defeated by creation forces.

The combined starlight and Source magic beam moved the Sovereign backward while it made a direct hit to his heart.

The ancient cosmic parasite emitted a deafening soundless scream which caused all remaining glass to break at the Prime Spire. The tricolored light expanded with force inside his obsidian armor which made his entropy overload through endless creation expansion.

The Sovereign suffered an explosive death.

He was not turned into ash or dust. He completely vanished from existence throughout the entire universe while leaving only freezing night air behind.

The Immortal Dawn

The explosion impact sent both of us crashing onto the stone surface.

I lay on my back while I struggled to breathe. The silver light had vanished completely from my skin. The geometric fractals remained, but they were calm, resting quietly in my flesh.

The suffocating silence of the Sovereign was gone.

I could hear the distant, roaring cheers of the unified packs in the ash-wastes. The Star-Beasts and Orion returned to the spires with loud victorious shouts.

A heavy Star-Metal gauntlet which shone with purity touched my face to remove the hair from my eyes.

I looked up. Kade was leaning over me.

The Celestial Core's frantic light had calmed down. The cosmic glass now displayed a peaceful, slow-moving galaxy which had both gold and violet colors inside it. His eyes showed nebulas which had transformed into beautiful ocean-blue with infinite star wisdom.

We held the line Kade whispered with his voice wrapping around my heart in a deep rumbling sound.

We broke it I corrected while giving a weak smile which showed my extreme tiredness.

He gently lifted me up from the ground. He held me close to his body. I rested my head over the slow, rhythmic thump, thump, thump of his immortal heart.

The sky above us, previously choked with the iron of the Sovereign Armada, was completely clear.

The sun was beginning to rise over the Pacific Ocean, casting brilliant streaks of pink, orange, and gold across the horizon. The light caught the Star-Metal walls of Aurora Citadel, making the entire city glow like a beacon of hope for the surviving world.

The heavy, reinforced doors to the Spire's balcony burst open.

Leo ran out, his mismatched eyes wide, clutching his stuffed dragon tightly to his chest. Leo looked at us. He dropped the dragon and ran across the stone.

Kade dropped to one knee while I embraced our son with my arms.

The dark man is gone Leo sniffled while he buried his face in my neck.

He will never return baby I promised him. I kissed the top of his head and felt the faint hum of violet Source magic which rested safely in him. The monsters are all gone.

Valda and Thorne stepped out onto the balcony a moment later, entirely covered in ash and alien blood, but alive. Valda and Thorne did not speak. They looked at us while the Alpha and Luna and King and Queen of the Stars knelt in dawn with their son and showed absolute loyalty by bowing their heads.

Our battle against the Syndicates led us to battle the earth's shadows. The ancient gods of the cosmos who devoured everything were our enemies.

And we had won.

Kade stood up while he held me with one arm. He placed his other hand on Leo's shoulder. We walked to the edge of the parapet, looking out over our unified, peaceful world.

The Earth was no longer a cage. It was a kingdom.

As the sun rose above the horizon, it bathed the world in golden light. Our pack would never fall apart again, no matter what darkness the infinite universe might hold.
