LOGAN

We were taking Alejandro back to his apartment. The motherfucker was drunk, and a pain in the ass right now.

Charles and I were unfortunate enough to be seated at his sides. Lucky Drake was in the passenger seat, away from the drama.

Alejandro was out of his goddamned mind and latching onto Charles and I like we were his newly bought toys. It was messy trying to drag him out of the nightclub. More shameful, as he was an ugly sight. He still was.

He was blowing kisses and wiggling his brows at us like a goddamn lunatic! Just how many bottles did he empty back at the nightclub? His mind was blank, and he was all over us, just like he was with those girls at the club.

“Step on it, will ya?” I said to our chauffeur. He wasn't going fast enough and I was losing my patience. If we stay on the road much longer, I might just snap Alejandro's neck if he tries kissing me again.

He let out a series of giggling, latching onto my shirt. I jerked his hands away, but he was back again, caressing my chest. Fuck!

“I love…your…tight…cunt, Flair,” He slurred, grinning sheepishly with his eyes slightly opened.

“Get the fuck off me!” I snapped, giving him a vehement push that got him crashing into Charles, ”Who the hell is Flair?”

”One of the ladies at the nightclub, and she did have a tight cunt. We checked,“ Drake chirped in, from the passenger seat. He was another drunk in the car, just a little bearable than Alejandro.

“Alejandro has gone nuts. If only he would awaken his wolf side so he could help tone down the intoxication from the drinks he had,“ Charles said, carefully placing his head on the headrest.

”Try telling him that,” I snorted, looking out the window.

Werewolves get drunk but once we implore our wolf side, it reduces the intoxication of the drink. But you gotta have your wits around you to be able to do that. And that's what Alejandro was lacking right now.

”Log…an…” He slurred, coming at me again, his breath reeked of alcohol and he fucking belched in my face.

”Get lost,“ I sneered, looking out the window to see how long before we got him out of our car.

“Come a bit closer. I need to tell you something,“ He mumbled, giving me a pout. This dude was unrecognizable right now. Alcohol sure turns us into idiots.

”Nah, that's not you speaking, man. That's the alcohol,” I said, refusing to fall victim to his silliness.

“I'm fucking serious, man. It's something I've been wanting to tell you for a long time now, “ He fixed his unsteady gaze at me, and gave me that sheepish grin.

”What is it?” I eyed him closely, trying to figure out if it was him, or the alcohol like I suspected.

”A bit closer,“ He insisted, tugging at my shirt, “It's just between the both of us,“

“Don't do it, man,” Charles warned with a chuckle, ”You might regret it,“

I looked outside the window again and the blocks and buildings were familiar. We were finally reaching his apartment. Can't wait to let him off my ride.

”Please, man. I need to say this to you,” He slurred, and gave another wild belch.

”Fine, what is it?” I seethed, giving in to his pestering. Charles laughed, reminding me that I'd been warned and nothing good would come from leaning closer to listen to whatever it was wasted Alejandro had to say.

I gave in anyways, he sounded pretty urgent and I should give him the benefit of the doubt.

I ducked my ears to him, listening keenly but all that came out of his mouth were slurs and gibberish. Not a coherent word left him.

“What you saying, man?” I asked, already getting pissed.

“Closer,“ He mused. I leaned in again, this time there was almost no distance between us. I felt like a complete idiot and hated that I was buying his drunk acts, but yeah, I listened.

“I'm…s…” The rest of the words went into thin air, as he belched again.

”Fuck,” I waved a hand in the air to get rid of the alcohol stench that came from his belch, “Be a bit louder, man. I can't hear you,“

“I'm….sor…ry…“ He slurred out,

”You sorry? For what?“

His response was a loud, deep belch and the idiot puked all over my car.

”Holy shit!” I gasped, lifting my legs away from the vomit, but I couldn't avoid it much. He'd puked all over the car. Worse was, he puked on my shirt too.

”Told you it wasn't worth it,” Charles muttered, sliding to the edge of the seat.

Alejandro blacked out, falling on the seat and a little part of his vomit. I should bash his head in for this. He just ruined our ride. It'll take days to wash this mess off it.

I took another look at my shirt which had been covered in vomit. This has to be one of the most terrible nights of my life.

****************

Another exaggerated sigh and I tossed the shirt into a trash can. It was one of my favorites and a few of my customized shirts. That idiot will have to pay twice the money I spent on it.

I looked around my room, checking if there was something else I needed before I headed downstairs. Nope, nothing, just my phone. I grabbed it from the bed and headed downstairs. I'd just had a thorough shower, and spent more time than usual in my quest to get rid of the stench of his vomit. It was after my tenth wash that I convinced myself that I was completely free from it.

Downstairs and in the lounge, I met Charles lying on the couch, he was busy with his phone, and barely spared me a glance.

”Alright, I'll let him know,“ he said, finally glancing my way. I saw the Bluetooth in his ear and only then did I realize that he was on a phone call.

I slumped on the other couch, exhaling tiredly. I had a couple of drinks, and even though I wasn't tipsy, I still felt tired.

It's been an exhausting day, I should be sleeping it off, but I just couldn't bring myself to go to bed. My thoughts were tormenting me, just like they do every night. That's why I came down here, to see if there was something to distract me. Good thing I found Charles.

The lounge was dim, only radiated by the shimmer from the moonlight gleam that penetrated the curtains.

Even without going outside, I could tell it was a crescent moon. The glimmer was less radiant.

I got a beep in my phone and decided to check it out while waiting for Charles to end his call. Judging from his slight formality, mixed with jokes and teasing, I could tell it was his Father, Beta Xariel.

A new message.

I checked the number but it wasn't saved on my phone. I clicked on the message.

*How long are you gonna stay mad at me? It's been four years. I miss you. Call me when you get this. Victoria*

A rush of anger spiraled inside me and my quick fingers deleted the message and blacklisted her number. It was the twentieth number she was contacting me with within a month. And I've had all twenty blacklisted. She just wouldn't stop bugging me. How the hell was *I'm done with you* so fucking hard to comprehend?!

Victoria Rodriguez…my high school fling and one of the biggest reasons why I'd hurt Daisy so bad. Won't deny that at some point, I thought I loved Victoria.

Back then, I was willing to do anything to keep our relationship. At some point, my world revolved around her and she basked in that reality.

But our relationship had a huge crack when I found out that she was the one who made the sex video of Daisy and I go viral. At first, it didn't matter much to me. But when I had the tragic crash with my father, and I was chased out of the palace, I slowly began to realize just what damage her action was causing me.

And when I spent a whole year in solitude and realized my late feelings for Daisy, I loathed Victoria with everything I stood for.

If she hadn't made the video viral, then Father would be less mad at me. And fixing my bond with Daisy wouldn't seem so impossible. It was all Victoria's fault, she ruined my life even before it began. I could never forgive her for it. Not in a million years.

I called off our relationship and warned her never to try contacting me again. We were on a vacation on the Bahamas island. And after I broke up with her, I packed up my stuff and took the first plane back to California. It was the last time I saw her, the last time I heard from her. She wouldn't stop calling and texting though, but that didn't mean shit to me. What we had was over, and if I was a little wiser back then, I should have known better than dating a witch like Victoria Rodriguez. She jinxed my life and blew it out of proportion. And even if it was already five years, I still was unable to fix the damage her action caused.
