Encountering Adolpha!
"What exactly do you mean, Cypher?" Simon asked.
"They had the odour of rogues. There are far too many of them."
"That is not possible. Even rogues are barred from entering this territory." Simon said. "But if they did, then I shall get rid of them. Mindlink the remaining warriors and have them transport everyone from the pack house to the mansion. This location should keep them safe." Simon moved his gaze to Mace. "I think we have somewhere to be, Gamma. Scarlett's situation can be discussed later."
"I find it hard to believe that they were able to come in here. That is something impossible."
"If you ask me, I believe someone on the inside tipped off this place." Simon reached for his clothes and put them on.
"And who do you believe it is?"
"I'm not sure, but I just want to get rid of them so I can go on with my party. Come on." Simon said as they exited his room. Simon was shocked to see the living room in such a disorganised state upon entering. He shrugged and grabbed a bra he had come across. "I can't believe one even forgot to wear her bra back home."
"Do you think the humans brought them here?"
Simon exhaled. "Of course not. The moment the humans are out of here through the back, they forget they were ever here." One of the omegas was emerging from a room, and Simon could see it. He signalled her. "Please have this place cleaned up before the rest of the pack comes for shelter."
"Yes, sir."
Simon walked out the door, glaring at Mace as he grabbed a stick. He would be back in his home, enjoying himself, in a matter of minutes. Simon and Mace dashed to the entrance of the main gate while still in their human forms.
When they got there, they both halted, their eyes wide. "You were saying?" Mace swung around to face him.
"There are this many?" Simon said.
"So many rogues hate your ass. They must have been preparing an attack for weeks or even months. This is the ideal time to carry out their plan."
"Alpha. You shouldn't be here. We can fight them off." Cypher sped toward Simon.
"How am I supposed to stay hidden while my people fight all these beasts? No. The Alpha way is not like that. I'll demonstrate the Alpha way to you." At Cypher, he grinned. The rogues haven't actually launched an attack yet. They were waiting for Simon to arrive before attacking. Simon alerted the werewolves, who were stationed at the gate, to open the gate for him to pass through. "Where is your master? The one that led you to this fight?" He asked one of the rogues.
"We don't have a master," one of the rogues stated. They were already in werewolf form.
"We are our own masters." Another responded. "And we want the Alpha's head."
Simon started laughing. "How convenient for you all to think the Alpha would lay down and let you take his head without a fight."
She took a deep breath and started her car. She took a deep breath as she started her car. She hasn't heard from her brother in days. Reaching him via mindlink was also impossible. It had never happened before, which bothered her. She started her car and drove out of the school. As she drove, she was overcome with grief over Uncle Viggo's death. The fact that he had left them was still unbelievable.
Adolpha came to a halt when she noticed two cars in the distance blocking her path. She turned off her engine and looked ahead. She could see a slim, tall woman and two men approaching her. Adolpha waited in her car for a while to see if they were actually approaching her.
"You must be Adolpha. The pale sister of Anton Martin," the woman said with a smile.
Adolpha was curious. "And who are you? How do you know my name?"
"My name is Augusta, and I will need your help."
"My help?" Adolpha took a look around. "Why? What help can a girl like me help you with?"
Augusta chuckled softly. "You have no idea how much help you can provide. First, I'll need to figure out how to get to the territory. Your werewolf territory."
Adolpha's eyes widened. They know about her? She has to play dumb. "What are you talking about? Werewolf? You sounded insane."
"Girl, don't try to play dumb with me. We know who you are and...ah! Before I forget, I have something to say to you. I know you've been having trouble finding your brother."
Adolpha tightened her grip on her fingers even more. It's all over if she breaks now, but they know how worried she is about her brother. How so? She cast a glance at them. Do they really know where her brother is, or are they just trying to get words out of her mouth?
"I know where your brother is, and if you want to see him, you'll have to help us locate the territory."
"See him?"
"That's right."
Adolpha scoffed. "You really think I am a fool, don't you? My brother isn't someone that would easily get located by…" She took a sniff. "Humans."
"Do you think we're joking?"
"If you know where my brother is and what I am, I need proof."
"We've got him with us. Tortured and imprisoned. You've heard of wolfsbane, haven't you?"
Adolpha gasped. "You are a hunter."
"You're smarter than you appear. You must betray your pack in order to save your brother. Which one will you choose? You have two hours to make a decision." Augusta pulled out her business card. "Call this number once you've made your decision. If you call a minute later, you will lose your brother, so think carefully." Augusta smirked and turned in the direction of her car. Adolpha looked down at the card in her hand and began to yell along with her sobbing as she watched the car drive away.
