"No, this shouldn't be happening!!?" The alpha king yelled as he undid the restraint on him.

Looking at his mate who had been turned into a puppet, he shook his head.

He had to make sure she came back to her senses. But then again where was the strength he was going to use to do so?

Presently he was feeling weak and needed to recover. Breaking the restraint had taken much toll on his powers.

The next thing the Alpha king knew was that he was sent flying. Before he could do anything.

Multiple punches and kicks rained on him. He wanted to fight back but he couldn't.

He didn't have the heart to hurt his mate, furthermore, he was weak at the moment.

The witch was stronger than he had thought. She was able to mind control his mate easily.

He would have also been under her Control if he wasn't stronger.

But that still didn't stop her from putting a restraint on him and it took him almost all his powers to break out of it.

In a short time, the Alpha king was in a miserable state. Multiple cuts and bruises which weren't healing were on his body.

There were also some deep cuts on his body which healed slowly.

His breathing was a bit labored at the moment and one could imagine how much he was beaten.

He looked at his mate who had been turned into a puppet by the other party as she prepared to finish him off.

He couldn't help but smile when he saw her raise the sword and was aiming for his head.

Was this how he was going to die? Killed by his mate who was turned into a puppet.

His life shouldn't have been like this.

He deserved to have a more honorable death than the one which presented itself at his door.

He wasn't supposed to die now, yeah, it wasn't the time for his death.

The onlookers were in shock when they saw the way their Alpha looked.

It seemed as if he had accepted his death just like that. Well, they couldn't help it.

There was no way they could fight against the Alpha's mate who was now a machine.

They couldn't even win against her when she had her emotions as a human talk more or less when she was turned into a killing machine.

All her abilities would be fully on display and it was going to be a sure death for anyone who tried to attack her.

They wondered why their king didn't fight back. Why had he left his mate to beat him as she pleased even though he knew she was a puppet and trying to talk to her wasn't going to work?

Even though none of them could see each other's minds, all their thoughts were alleged.

They were going to make sure to kill their king's mate once she kills their king.

Even if it was going to cost them their lives, they could care less about it.

They could easily take advantage of their numbers and overturn the situation.

"Don't kill him, I'm still going to need him." A voice sounded just when the sword was about to touch the Alpha's king's head.

The Alpha king shivered when he had the voice and rage burned in him, but there was nothing he could do.

All the spectators looked at the owner of the voice subconsciously and couldn't help but shiver.

The owner of the voice was the preparator of the incident. They had to do something about her.

But what could they do? All their efforts were going to be futile even if they tried.

Ana stopped when she heard Laura's command and went back to her side.

Laura looked at the once prosperous Kingdom now in ruins with a sense of satisfaction.

Suddenly she froze and her eyes dilated from their normal color to white.

Next, her aura rose rapidly suffocating all those present. Even the Alpha king was no different.

He was the one who was affected the most by the aura as he was currently weakest at the moment.

It was at that moment he knew how insignificant he was in front of the witch who had attacked his kingdom.

After a while, Laura's aura stabilized and her eyes changed back to what it was.

But this time his expression was grave. "This shouldn't happen, he has to die." She muttered while looking at a place.

She couldn't let the vision she had just seen come and pass as all the vision she had seen would always come to pass.

"Go and kill Bryan," Laura looked at Ana and said in a deep voice while her eyes dilated to black.

She knew Ana might come back to her senses once Bryan's name was mentioned so she increased the intensity of the spell to further lock Ana's struggling consciousness in a deeper place in her mind.

"Yes, my Lady," Ana bowed and disappeared.

"This is getting more interesting, it's time I welcome some guests," Laura muttered and disappeared.

She was going to come back to deal with the netizens of this kingdom and their Alpha king.

She wasn't satisfied with the torture she had made him go through.

He had to go through something more painful, she couldn't wait to see his expression then.

But then she had some important visitors to welcome or else they would be the ones to welcome her if she was late.

Immediately Laura disappeared, the invincible pressure disappeared and they all heaved a sigh of relief.

They would never forget this day for the rest of their lives.

The next moment they rushed to their king who was sprawled on the floor.

The injuries on his body were healing slowly which showed how weak he was.

They couldn't believe what they were seeing and couldn't help but curse Laura in their heart.

Pushing aside all their differences they took the unconscious king to a nearby house and began to nurse him.

If the people of Alverest Kingdom had known what was going to happen to them later they wouldn't have had the luxury to stay in the kingdom.

They would have long fled with their king even in his unconscious state.
