༒ "I am broke, but not poor broke. I'm classy broke, I'm broqué." ༒ "You've gotta be fucking kidding me." I clenched my jaw after profusely feeling my hands form into fists, and my expression harden on the spot, as uncontrollable feelings started flooding my heavy heart which was beating at a speed too fast for my own good, while I glared at the book in front of me, which was no longer refuting to the acceptance of my real name. "I didn't realise I would meet the infamous true trainer of the long lost female dragon, you were never human at all. This is such a treat of the day." Calvina giggled in amusement while clapping her hands, and I stood there all frozen, not knowing a thing on what to feel about it, mainly was only focused on trying to get my brain to process everything that had just happened. The next generation of the best trainers of a dragon is said to be the true trainer of the respective reptile, since blood is passed down, and so is power. If Jackson was Blaze's best trainer, it made Zenith his true trainer in the end. And since…apparently my grandmother was Iris' best trainer, I'm her true trainer now? And yet, my grandmother was a fucking dragon trainer? All this time, all these decades, I was carrying her power and her blood that was never human? How is that even possible? I never met my grandmother, I couldn't even if I wanted to. She was dead before I could ever meet her, but at the same time, my parents always honoured her name ever since I was young. It made me look up to a person who never once met me and I found some peace in it, and I always wondered why I would normally smile at the thought of my grandmother's picture. I didn't know anything about my grandmother, all I knew was that my parents loved her. Now to think that she possessed a power that no human would suffice was fucking mind googling. To think that my family ancestors had the involvement with supernatural itself was enough baloney in my life, but no, it wasn't false. And to even think that some mere person like me, who has no expertise or even experience in a field for having this much power, would get the capability to be the true trainer of a royal dragon. A fucking royal dragon. Who's reputable because of her rebellious yet impressive nature of defying anyone's command. I'm supposed to be her trainer. And it explained everything, it unfortunately made sense in my mind. I never wondered how my dad and Zenith's dad become friends or how they met in the first place, I didn't think it was important. Illusion has been after the prime members of the supernatural world since the beginning of their existence, which was centuries and millenniums ago, and Jackson Pierce was exactly that. My…my grandmother is the cause for Jackson's survival and the survival of everything overall, and she was pregnant with my own dad when all of this happened? Since when was my life this fucking complicated? I thought running away from Illusion was difficult enough, now a fucking supernatural family history? Not only did Illusion kill my parents, they didn't even spare my grandmother!? "That means if you just give a shout, Iris will come out willingly in a second like the loyal bitch she is, and none of us would have to worry about anything anymore. Now that is something I'd love for to happen, don't you think Lauriana?" Calvina smirked mischievously while wrapping her arm around my shoulder, while I scowled at her in disgust at the thought of her going near any dragon for that matter. The rebellion was the source of all my problems today, because not only Calvina so bound in getting someone this powerful by her side, but she's clinically insane. She's exactly like her brother, or maybe even worse. And to think that she once had to the chance to touch my Zenith intimately or was once engaged with having the demonic thought of killing her own dragon was sickening. This was what I didn't like about some people in Genzania. Some people just conclude that dragons are just like pokemons, you're supposed to catch them, train them, and make them do whatever they desired. Everyone made it seem like Zenith overpowered Blaze, or maybe even my grandmother overpowering Iris, but in reality, it's the dragons who have the power. And Calvina didn't deserve that power. "What do you want me to do? Call her out? Scream her name? Oh my beloved Iris Aurora, please come out darling, I'm finally back after vacation! This game of hide and seek is over!" I yelled out loud sarcastically after letting my voice echo into the whole cave system, hearing nothing happening after that because of some silence of everyone waiting for a response, making me roll my eyes. "Oh no! Iris baby, where are you? Come out to your mumma!" I squealed dramatically after throwing my fist in the air for extra affect, making the rebellion men chuckle under their breath from my tone, while Calvina narrowed her eyes at me. "I can't hear shit, that means she doesn't listen to me. You got your answer." I shrugged. "Oh but that's okay, I don't have to do any work myself. You're going to find Iris for me yourself." She announced. "Haha, sure. Not." "You'll do it right fucking now or else I will shoot your brains out, you want to leave your husband all alone after your death? That's so mean of you LoLo." She taunted dangerously while reloading her gun with spare bullets, making me clench my fists because I had no weapon to fight her against with. "You're not doing anything to her." Zenith growled. "I'm not going to, not yet. Now do yourself a favour and listen to me, or else you're going to become useless for us." She grumbled while pointing the gun at my back and trailing it down to my lower hip, making me groan because of feeling uncomfortable, before turning around. "Don't do this shit LoLo, she's just trying to use you." Rhea warned.
